A Fourteen year-old boy, Alaji, from kerenua,
who was forced to serve the terrorist Boko Haram
group, has narrated his experience after being
abducted by the group in an early morning
invasion, where security forces were attacked and
homes burnt.
Alaji explained in an interactive session that he
was adopted at gun point by two men on a
motorcycle and taken to a town where he saw
hundreds of fighters of the terrorist group.
“I was abducted at gun point by two men on a
motorcycle and taken to a town occupied by the
group. After a day, we moved to another town,
then another, that was how we kept on.
“There were lots of us, I saw hundreds of fighters,
there were also many captives, but all of us
including the captives, were set on groups but not
in one place within the camps,” he said.
Talking about the activities in the camp, Alaji said
that the females in the camp were morally and
sexually abused while the males were being sent
on errands.
“There were lots of women in the camps, they
raped and abused them.
“For boys like me, we run errands but everyone
knows the repercussion for disobedience, they
enforce discipline.
“they don’t let captives to mix freely,” he stated,
adding that this goes to show that the jihad they
claim to be waging was not true.
On part of their recruitment strategies, he stressed
that they were selected based on their strengths.
“we were selected based on our strengths. they
put us in trucks and armoured personal carriers.
“They gave the weaker ones gallons of petrol to
burn houses and buildings, and the stronger ones
bullets and guns. Our responsibility to deliver this,
is to fight on the battle fields during attacks,” the
fourteen year old stated.
Alaji, who was forcefully drafted by Boko Haram,
stressed on the biggest loss and the most
frightening battle he experienced with the group.
“The biggest loss I witnessed with Boko Haram
was in Gamboru in the hands of the military. The
Leader was so furious that he shot and killed two
commanders right before us.
“The most frightening battle was the attack on
Baga. when the town was attacked, initially it
was difficult to break through,” Alaji said.
He also went on that the residents came after
them and they were left with no choice than to
retreat.
Alaji also said the residents were later supported
by the Multinational Joint Task Force where they
seized equipment and ammunition from the
terrorist group.
He said the group comprises of fighters from
Nigeria and other countries adding that some of
the foreign fighters insisted that the campaign
they waged in Nigeria be extended to their
countries.
Alaji later revealed that some unidentified people
do come at night to meet with the leaders of the
terrorist group.
“At night, we see a convoy of cars that include
armoured tanks, and then a green helicopter will
arrive. Those inside will then meet the top
commanders.
“Whenever we see the aircraft arrive then go, then
we know that the next day, a major attack would
be launched. But people like us are not allowed to
go near the leaders.
He further explained that he was able to escape
in the course of an attacked to be launched in
Mongolo.
“I was ordered to carry two fighters on
motorcycle to Mongolo where we arrived at
dawn. The first attack was on the military
barracks there.
“When residents of Mongolo were leaving, I seized
the opportunity and rode off with the motorcycle
and head to Maiduguri where I was taken to my
parents whom I lost contact with since the day I
was taken.
“Everybody thought I was dead or I had formally
joined the group,” Alaji said

read the op again and tell me what you understand,Christians are called to ask question and examine there faith and be fully convinced of the evidence giving.

But, this is not true with Islam. Allah and Muhammad discourage Muslims from asking questions. From infancy Muslims are groomed to abstain from questioning the tenents of Islam.

Surah 5:101-102: “O ye who believe!
Ask not questions about things
which if made plain to you, may
cause you trouble …Some people

PoliticsAbuja Disco Blames Outage On Lower Allocation by Skako(op): 6:23pm On Feb 14, 2015
The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company says the poor power supply being experienced in the FCT and its environs is as a result of the shortfall in load allocated to it by the system operator.
The Managing Director of the company, Mr Neil Croucher, said this in Abuja on Saturday while speaking with theNews Agency of Nigeria.
“The issue of load-shedding being currently experienced in the FCT and other parts of its franchise area is as a result of the shortfall in power allocated to the company in recent times,’’ he said.
He appealed for the understanding of customers over the development, saying the average daily allocation to the company from February 1 to February 13 was 290 megawatts as against 390 megawatts in January.
Croucher added that since November 2013, when his company took over energy distribution, it had never fallen short of the 11.5 per cent of the load allocated to it by the system operator.
He said the company had taken load in excess of its allocation every month in order to meet customers’ demand, stating that this often attracted imbalance penalty.
“When there is extra load in the system, we have always taken it with the consequence of payment of imbalance penalty,” he said.
Croucher explained that in spite of the shortfall in power allocation to the company, it was compelled to give special consideration to certain strategic institutions in Abuja that required uninterrupted power supply.
“As a result of the foregoing, when there is limited power available to AEDC, there is extensive load-shedding to other customers in the FCT as well as other states in the company’s franchise area,” he said.
He, however, assured the consumers that the company would continue to optimise its load-shedding to ensure that electricity consumers were given fair consideration in the distribution of energy.
The managing director expressed optimism that government’s transformation plans would lead to actively increased levels of generation to meet the needs of customers.
“We, as a Disco, will also be aggressively exploring methods of embedded generation within our network coverage area to augment power supply from the national grid,” he said.

PoliticsMbu’s Order To Policemen To Kill Barbaric, Lawless – APC by Skako(op): 5:30pm On Feb 14, 2015
The All Progressives Congress has described the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Command, Joseph Mbu, as a lawless and barbaric policeman, who should urgently be cautioned by his boss before he starts “another around of his trade-mark nihilism in his new posting.”
In a statement in Lagos on Saturday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said Mbu’s actions since he was posted to Lagos had neither dignified the police as an institution nor portrayed him as a well-trained law enforcement agent.
It said the temperament, comportment, utterances and actions of Mbu, as a very senior police officer, were capable of inciting mass killings, violence and anarchy.
APC added, ”Since his posting to the Zone 2 Command, this contumacious policeman has exhibited an egregious act of lawlessness by barging through the Lekki Toll Plaza without paying toll and then ordering the arrest of policemen and workers at the Plaza. Is it not an irony that a man, who is trained to enforce the law, is the same, who is breaking the law?
”But that action, as bad as it was, pales into insignificance when compared to his most recent statement in which he was basically inciting the police against the citizenry and encouraging the killing of civilians. It is sheer irresponsibility for a senior policeman to say that for every policeman, who is killed during the election, he will kill 20 civilians.
”Lest we are misunderstood, our party will never condone the killing of police personnel or of any law enforcement agent for whatever reason, just as we will not condone the killing of any innocent Nigerian. If a senior police officer does not know how to convey to his officers and men that they should protect themselves while also avoiding extra-judicial killing of any citizen, then the funds spent in training him have been wasted.”
The party said such language as ‘fire-for-fire’ , ‘If one of my men is killed, I shall kill twenty of them’ or ‘you have the power to stop the Governor’ is inappropriate, inciting and barbaric, especially under a democratic dispensation, and most unbecoming of a senior law enforcement agent.
APC said Mbu should be held solely responsible for any violence or killing of innocent citizens before, during and after the elections in the area under his command.
