Do you think ptdf would allow somebody change to his preferred country? I believe that if they had the intention of doing that, they would have, during the UK Interview, asked candidates who had earlier attended the FGC interview their most preferred country in case they make both list. And that would have been very fair.

well even if you did, as long as u made the fgc list, your name won't appear on the UK list. same thing applies to me. let just hope Ptdf will be flexible like last year and 2 years back. maybe we could change

Yes, I applied. They contacted me on Friday and offered me 50% tuition scholarship.

This is the mail received by the seemingly successful China candidates.

In fact, it's only 46 candidates for the China scholarship. The group chat has 47 members but the 47th member is the PTDF OSS mail.

Please any body with an idea that of how the PTDF overseas scholarship is administered should tell us. Will there be take off grant to be given while still in Nigeria? How much do they pay as monthly stipends? Any study materials allowance? Any study related travel allowance, warm clothing allowance et al?

Thanks a lot for sharing this information. That's what I've been thinking ever since others got the invite and I didn't get. What baffles me is that this application process started since last year and as such the recruitment team should have considered this fact and compute the age from the time of application rather than the time they're inviting us to fill the bio data form. It's no doing of ours that they just reached us by this time after we applied since last year. In fact, some people filled the bio data form last year but were just not lucky enough to be invited for the interview then. Quite unfortunate and unfair!

Please, is there anybody whose year of birth is 1991 or later and got the invite? My reason for asking is because I know as a fact that most corporations, most especially banks consider only the year of birth without regards to the month and day of birth when it comes to recruitment. For instance, a person born on 31/12/1991 will be considered 27 although he/she is still 26 and a person born just a day later, 01/01/1992 will be considered 26. It's quite unfortunate but that's the way their system is programmed. However, I have been thinking that since this recruitment started last year, atleast people born in 1991 should be considered.

Also applied early Thursday and meet all the requirements but didn't get the invite. Gotta move on.

I have a similar predicament, though I graduated with a 2.1. No invite yet. Any Thursday applicant with an invite should please specify.

Any candidate who has received an invite this morning or are they done sending the invite? Need to know what's going. Registered in the early hours of yesterday.

Can you imagine? I celebrated my 26th birthday Dec. 31st last year and now they want to tell me I'm already 27.

Well, that ain't fair. There are people born in the later part of 1991 and are therefore still 26 by all standards. It's a wrong way to compute age by taking into cognizance only the year of birth while disregarding the month and day of birth.
Unfortunately, I think that's how most banks compute the age stuff.

Hello. I would like to know if there is anybody who has gotten an invite and taken his/her aptitude test in Abuja so far. It looks like most people who have been invited so far are from the South.

Thanks. I'm curious about knowing why because I also had just one interview in Abuja on the 27th Feb. The guy that was coming to call us from the hall told me I'd be called on Friday that week. In fact, he went further to ask if I reside within Abuja to which I said no. He then told me that when I'm called, I should tell my caller I don't reside in Abuja and ask him/her if I could do whatever they may want to from my place of residence.
I however later realized some people had two interviews though both were panel which is a bit unusual. And I'm yet to see their call up till now, hence my concern.

hehehe I was among those who left there very late yesterday... I can say the screening and dropping of candidates started immediately after the first panel interview because I saw the list for the next stage and less than 40 names progressed to the next stage.
Yeah some persons were told the would get back to them on Friday but not sure if all persons.

Pls this list you referred to, is it the list of people that attended the second panel interview or a different list which may contain the names of people who might have attended only the first panel interview and yet qualified?
