babalose:
@skimanski..thanks for your prompt response. which is better to use in filling...red or white? whats the functional difference? What is the cost of red filling sand?

The prices still depend on your location. As for functional differences

For filling of water logged land: White preferably

For filling of slightly dry land to enable vehicle movement: red preferably

For filling of foundation: white preferably

For filling before interlocking: white preferably

Now you can choose to use any you want in the case of close proximity to the site in question.

babalose:
how much do you get a trip of the white filling sand?

a 15ton trip of White filling sand, Something of that size of sand that you see behind that guy is N37k. (Note that sand you is sharp ooo. Just needed to use it as an example since I dint see a full picture of the filling). However, the main factor that determines the price is the distance from the market to the site.

Scrooge:
Sir,

I've been keenly monitoring your Lake View Park development. It seems to have stalled... Was kinda looking forward to seeing how that one turns out with a view to developing my plots in the same location by the turn of the year...

Negotiation still on the table for remaining stage. Hoping it goes smoothly so that we can deliver what we know how to best.

400billionman:
Are you filling with sharp sand. ?

No!! White Filling Sand. Which is sharper than the Normal Red, hence it allows for faster and better settling.

Nice thread. After being a Nairaland member for 9 years and a silent reader of the property section I have decided to embark on a building project with the support and advise of lots of members here.

Building a house from abroad can be a very challenging project to accomplish. Hence, I will be opening a thread to diarise my building project at Tinapa - Calabar, a 3 Bedroom Bungalow with a 2 bedroom Penthouse later today.

We are here man to render our professional assistance. just lead us to the Thread and we'll follow
