OP, if I were you and just in case you don't know, I would listen to Skimanski. He's the definition of "walk quietly but carries a big stick" in the industry.

Chemical treatment wouldn't work. I tried chemical treatment. I even continued treating to save it. But the wood is a total mess.

Bros if you can add extra cash for them to come and take the wood away and bring Proper wood. It would save you a Lot of headache oo. Have been in malina Trouble oo in the past. Trust me, you need to run for that wood.

Nice job sir I am working on my living room right now I just don't like staring at my home theatre, it doesn't look right is there any way to hide them or I should opt for wall speakers do they sound good... I have never used one before.. Please advise

It depends on what you have. There are home Theaters with very creative looking speakers that actually enhances the Look of your living room. so maybe you need a new one.
