Facebook deleted a post by President Trump for the first time on Wednesday, saying it violated a policy against spreading misinformation about the coronavirus, and Twitter restricted his campaign’s access to their platform

The post included a video of the president saying that children are “almost immune from Covid-19” during an interview on Fox News Wednesday morning.

“This video includes false claims that a group of people is immune from Covid-19 which is a violation of our policies around harmful Covid misinformation,” a Facebook spokesperson said in a statement.

This is the first time that Facebook has removed a post from the president entirely, rather than labeling it, which it has done in the past.

The same clip appeared was posted on Twitter by the Trump campaign, and then retweeted on the president’s main account.

Twitter, which has sparred with Trump previously, restricted access to the message on Wednesday evening and added a notice saying it violated its rules.

The tweet, from @TeamTrump, “is in violation of the Twitter Rules on COVID-19 misinformation. The account owner will be required to remove the Tweet before they can Tweet again,” a spokesperson for the company said in a statement.

Courtney Parella, a spokeswoman for the Trump campaign, said the president was “stating a fact that children are less susceptible to the coronavirus.”

“Another day, another display of Silicon Valley’s flagrant bias against this President, where the rules are only enforced in one direction,” Parella said in a statement. “Social media companies are not the arbiters of truth.”

Justin Bieber has shared intimate photos showing him being baptised with his wife, Hailey Baldwin Bieber.

The 26-year-old singer shared a series of photos to his Instagram account on Aug. 5, showing him and his 23-year-old wife in a pool while holding on to their pastor’s hand.

It’s unclear when the ceremony took place, but the two have been legally married since Sept. 13, 2018, with a formal wedding coming just over a year later on Sept. 30, 2019.

Bieber captioned the photos: "The moment @haileybieber my wife and I got baptized together! This was one of most special moments of my life. Confessing our love and trust into Jesus publicly with our friends and family."

Chapman stressed that there's a lot we don't know about COVID-19 and the virus that causes it, SARS-CoV-2. Our understanding about the spread of the disease, and the risk food poses, could change as more information becomes available.

But as far as we know, the disease appears to be spread mainly from person-to-person through virus particles that are spread when someone coughs or sneezes, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). While COVID-19 can theoretically be transmitted by touching a contaminated surface and then touching your nose, mouth or eyes, that's not thought to be its primary mode of transmission, according to the CDC.

Why food is low risk
There are also several factors that could make transmission of SARS-CoV-2 through food less likely, even if the virus is present on food or a food worker catches it.

First, the food safety measures that are already in place to prevent foodborne illness — such as frequent hand-washing, cleaning of surfaces and utensils, and cooking food to the right temperature — would also reduce the transmission of any virus particles through food.
