I heard somewhere that Ogun IGR is bigger than that of whole east. So this is how they have been generating their revenue? By borrow posse! Now, everyone is paying for their reckless borrowing. We are still waiting to see how they will pay back the loan for the construction of a nonviable coastal highway. Misplaced priority! Hope they go after only the beneficiaries property and not Nigeria property as in this case. |

Honestly that behavior is more than annoying and at the same time embarrassing. An immigration officer will take your passport and begin to cook stories just to get something from you. Same with customs . Then the trolley service people. Even the janitors at the bathroom, they want to extort you for toilet paper and water. Airlines staff nkor? Those ones will torment you with their scale asking to take out almost everything, just to stress you, until something enters their hand. Whenever I pass through Airport in Nigeria, I can’t help but to wear my patience hat |

See, you people are not more Nigerians than others
Apc supporters don't have different market where they buy goods and services
Whatever you people are going through, those who are supporting this government are not also left out.
Life is unfair to anyone, we just ha e to learn how to deal with it Sometimes I just pity you because it is obvious you don’t know what you are doing. People are suffering and young families are being displaced and disintegrated, and all you think about is APC. What you wish others, you also wish for yourself. Think about your future and unborn children. Thinks about the sorrow in having them and their young families coming back to live with you due to economic hardship. My dear, not everyone has rich patent like you do. Majority of young people in Nigeria are the ones taking care of their aged parents. |

WhizdomXX: Good morning. With all sincerity, I have to first know if you attended secondary school in Nigeria, perhaps you studied abroad. Assistant head boy is a perfect title given to an SS2 student in either 1st or 2nd term. If you read the article again, slowly, No where was it mentioned that he was the assistant head of a room. Meanwhile, like you said having a twin can make one think they may be in the same class but not always. I know twins that are spaced 2, 3 and even 4 classes apart. I'm saying this because I went to a Nigerian boarding school and I've also taught in a secondary school. Here is were it say Felix was an assistant headboy in one of the rooms Addendum Oh , I see now. They meant to say he was invited into the room.

WhizdomXX: Js 3 bully js1 Ss3 bully Ss1 The case above was SS3 bullying SS2 I don’t see where you got this information from the article, other than where it says he was the assistant head boy of one of the rooms. It is common for a junior student to be assistant head of a room in such setting in order to checkmate his peers. On the other hand, one could infer that since his twin brother is in JSS 2 , arguably they should be in the class. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do Nigerians Become Less Religious When They Travel Abroad? by Skydivine: 2:09pm On Jun 23, 2024*. Modified: 3:00pm On Jun 23, 2024 |
There are more jobs and work places than worship centers abroad. So, you are more likely to get to work than church. Unlike in Nigeria where you are paid fixed salary, in abroad they are mostly paid hourly rate. Work Monday to Friday and then make overtime pay ( usually time and half) on weekends. It’s good easy money that is hard to let go. Any day you make going to church a priority, you sacrifice more than a 500k or more ( when converted to naira) . For instance if you are a nurse and gets 40 dollars per hour. Working that Sunday shift will give you 60 x 12 = $720 (less tax). Everything is stress and bills abroad . Even the church wants you to give from the little you are managing. In abroad, money is managed and calculated to the last dime. So it’s better to avoid unnecessary stress. Also most things people pray for in Nigeria is already available abroad. Except for real spiritual needs which you can settle with God through payers in your house. Even when you go to church, they don’t keep you for more than an hour, unlike in Nigeria. if you are sick, you can medical attention, hungry you can get food assistance, even housing. Structures are in place, provided by government to help those in need. |

YelloweWest: Beauty has nothing to do with a lasting marriage.
Money also has nothing to do with a lasting marriage.
Good character is what counts. Pray for a good man and God fearing one. If the woman is not beautiful to the the man’s specifications, he might end up cheating. Except we are being too spiritual here, but if the truth is to be told, two things makes a man hard, a beautiful sight to behold and of course money. Hardness ( you know what I mean) and companionship is the oil that lubricants every marriage. |

fredoooooo: Remember the goat and the sheep mentality. It simply means you have to tolerate, act foolish as if you don't see or hear like the sheep . Just obey, accept and follow . Some people term it wisdom while some call it foolishness.. You are a wise person. But to be honest with you, it’s easier said than done, especially when the person is not actually foolish. There is limit to one’s patience and what one can endure. Most times, long suffering must be involved. A very thin line between being foolish while still staying wise. As a word of caution, it is best to do all these for you and the not world or any outside influence. |

Beframia: It still baffles me why some people would still want to cheat their clients - cutting corners in jobs or during materials procurement by buying substandard/incomplete materials, even after being paid full for the agreed labour/service charge. I can't remember where I saw a post about a client that signs his signature on every bag of cement to be used in a particular day, the site supervisor/bricklayer is expected to return the empty signed bags to the client at the end of the day. Do we think this will curb the incidence of cement theft at the site? That client is wasting his time. How much is empty bags that the workers can’t get to refill with his cement ?. People are even buying opened bags of cement like the half bags. |

flokii: South West regional government should take a cue from this and make agriculture one of our topmost priorities. They should push for death penalty on any herder caught in open grazing anywhere in the South West region.. If the retrogressive ones up North don't want progress, then they should keep suffering alone. If you bring such law, your people will never get the vote to be President. You can’t eat your cake and have it. Only Hausa/Fulani vote can help SW to win presidency. So, it must be one or the other, agriculture or Presidency. Anything that infuriates the North must be avoided. |
