@ seun, the religious section is a disgrace.
giving preferential treatment to one particular religion. Imagine swearing an oath against your will just to comment on a islamic topic, but same oath not required in christain and other forms religion, thats one sided. Your mods are a disgrace because majority of them are biased tribalist, religious bigot, politically onesided, hence they ban any user that speak against their religion, tribe, and political preference, but wont ban anyone that speak against other peoples religion, tribe or political preference. I would suggest you change many of these bitter mods and work on those anti spam bot(these ones are useless)
on the religious preferential treatment, you have to allow other religious sect swear the oath like the islamic one or just abolish it, no one religion should be giving preferential treatment when christains, traditional worshipers, hindu, buddhist, etc would be sidelined. |

GreenCovering: Not a big fan of Gumi for his controversial clerical and tribal excesses and links to compromised people in security matters but he is absolutely spot on on this one. The report went too far. The shariah law does not persecute christians or support their persecution. So why call for it's abolition? It has existed peacefully for a thousand years in Nigeria before incidents of terrorism which are extremes to the shariah laws, one of the reasons for their being called terrorists anyway. So that line in the report is showing favoritism for christians over Muslims, the same problems that you claim you want to solve. The U.S. had better not create a bigger problem for Nigeria than we already have. Since they predicted Nigeria's disintegration during Obj's tenure and it didn't happen, we stood united and we are rebounding today economically even against the USD, now makes you wonder if they practically want to use their own hands to disintegrate it since their prediction failed?
I trust my president, PBAT. He is already taking the right steps to winning the battle against insecurity where everyone shall feel safe where they are domiciled. We shall overcome before the very eyes of the U.S. but not through this their divisive rhetorics. We shall work with their good advice and discard their ulterior motives. We are a smart people. But a Christian girl was set ablaze in response to the sharia law Stop confusing yourself |

Razzness: Una dey always like to make this man trend. He is mentally unstable for crying out loud and doesn't speak for the North in any capacity.
But this time around he is right. If states with 98% Muslim population decide to adopt Shari'a for rulings on social issues such as divorce, marriages, inheritance etc. I don't see how that is a problem.
Mind you, the Shari'a law provision is subordinate to the constitution of Nigeria. Even the highest Shari'a court ranks lower than state high courts. Moreover, A non-Muslim cannot be compelled to submit to a Shari’a court.
So I honestly don't see what all the fuss on Shari'a law is about. According to the Constitution, Nigeria is a secular state (Section 10 prohibits adoption of a state religion). Then what is stoping other Christians 98 percent states from referendum and tta control of their own resources? |

And make quick plans to move her over to where you are. Sha, I don't really like early marriage o, some women do go wild sexually in the marriage without the husband even knowing. Not every woman can be faithful from 18yrs to the rest of their lives. That 18 years age is the start of what we call the hoe hasre with many girls The guy is still a young man, he obviously doesn't have much experience with women how he doesn't learn the hard way is a mystery |

Templee333: writing wasn't our culture. Our forefathers passed information to younger generations through oral communication. It's such a pity that we know Jewish ancestry and traditions more than our own and even teach them in schools. Some of us don't know the name of our great grand father. Something oral doesn't go down age's compared to what was documented Father's passing stories down to the son's ear's? How can someone remember his ancestry line down to the year 1100 if orally passed is the basis? Too bad, we didn't have scholar's that much, but the Jews, the Greek's the Europeans, the Asians and even north Africa did have And many might even be able to identify their ancestry line down to 1100 if proper trace's are been made. |
Christianity Etc › Re: The Book Of Enoch, Facts Or Fiction? by skywalker240(op): 8:48am On Feb 16 |
grandstar: I was compelled to conduct a search based on what you said. Its true that the Book of Enoch was part of the scrolls found. That does not make it part of the Bible.
It does not change the issue. Enoch probably lived over 2,000years before Abraham was even born. Jude was written at least 2,000 years after Enoch was born .
In addition, one rule of canonization was that other book of the bible would make a reference to it. None did whatsoever. Let's take Jude 1 : 14-15 for reference. Did you know the reasons why many books were not canonized? Those early Christians from the gentiles saw that There were text's that were considered apocrypha and sometimes not appealing to the general audience, hence the reasons many of them were never canonized even up till the days of King James In the book of Revelations 22:19, don't you think The Master said something about this same thing? |

Because it never happened. Who told you that? Have you read the book of Jude? Did you know that the book of Enoch is actually one of the lost books from the dead Sea scroll? Till this day, the book of Enoch is still reviewed by the Orthodox churches in Ethiopia, long before the the dead Sea scroll were discovered |

Kemetian: That's a very IGNORANT way of looking at history and Africa.
Congo is underdeveloped because it was INVADED BY THIEVING COLONISERS who used FIREARMS to destroy what was a GLORIOUS precolonial African civilisation.
Do you know that MATHEMATICS was invented in Congo?
Look up the Lebombo Bone and Ishango Bone. World's oldest mathematical objects dated over 25,000 years, and showing evidence of the knowledge of Prime Numbers.
Mbanza Kongo was the precolonial capital. According to a report
''Founded before the arrival of Europeans, Mbanza Kongo became the royal seat of the Kingdom of Kongo in the 14th century. By the time the Portuguese arrived in 1483, it was already a large, organized urban center — with structured neighborhoods, noble compounds, and a royal court system.
The king, known as the Manikongo, ruled from here over a vast territory that included parts of present-day Angola, the Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Gabon.
Early Portuguese accounts describe it as:
A planned city with wide streets
A central royal compound
Thousands of inhabitants
A structured aristocracy and administrative system
This challenges the outdated myth that Africa lacked organized urban civilization before European contact.''
....So this nonsense of saying ''Oh because it's whites there'' is absolute RUBBISH.
Africa INVENTED the very concept of cities. INVENTED ARCHITECTURE.
Your next day neighbour minus Chad, Sudan, has over 250 PYRAMIDS, more than Kemet (or 'Egypt'), and older than any structures in Europe and America.
IF WHITES HAD SAT IN THEIR OWN DAMN COUNTRY, AFRICA WOULD BE THE MOST DEVELOPED PLACE ON EARTH TODAY. Then uthman dan fodio would have had his way and then you'd probably be 900 years backwards |

Botragelad: Welcome to Islam. The only religion that pulls off every kind of crime imaginable, rape, terrorism, you name it, then screams “Islamophobia” the second anyone calls it out.
Just hours ago Islamists and their terror outfits put a death threat on Tommy Robinson in the UK. In France a Muslim tried to stab an officer and got dropped by bullets. Islamic terrorist groups are literally about to overrun Nigeria, I’ve been warning about that for years.
The pattern is crystal clear: when you let Islamists into your country, it’s like deliberately infecting yourself with a terminal disease. It eats you from the inside and destroys everything. I don’t care about being called Islamophobic, we have to say it straight. The world has an Islamic problem.
Until we’re willing to meet it with real resistance, Islam will keep creeping in, consuming, and wrecking every place it touches. Watch out One senseless mod might just ban you for this post |
