UltraSolid: I think Tinubu knows that too. This is why he is being brave and uncompromising focusing on doing what is best for the future of even generations unborn in hope that has set the precedence for how Northern Presidents should lead even if he pays the sacrifice by doing one term alone.
Even Jonathan would lead differently If he ever becomes President after BAT because he literally bent over backwards for the North and that did not impress them. I must say, This is the best direction, and come 2027, nothing will stand in his way The Man knows how and where to get what he wants |
Politics › Re: Bauchi Govt Denies Threatening Tinubu, Vows Collaboration On Tax Reforms by skywalker240(m): 5:34pm On Jan 01, 2025 |
UltraSolid: Precisely. If the North, the biggest lovers of 'one Nigeria', want others to remain in Nigeria then they better start making concession. Opposing everything positive a Southern President suggests simply speak volumes to progressive Nigerians that the North will always pull/keep them and their generations down until they actually start fighting to either secede or gain regional autonomy.
It is a question of time before wholesale rebellion against Northern regression is a daily thing because of the conclusion Victor Hugo made a while back seen below. The only option is for the North to accept what is inevitable and start raising a different generations that will shape up, gain top skills/education, plus modernity that can earn them their equal keep instead of thinking all other Nigerians exist to bow to their ways and will forever. When Atiku and co schemed Wike out of PDP, in what should have been the turn of the South, they assumed they had gotten away with it.
Wike warned "I will not be second class in my own nation". Deep talk considering he went to work for Tinubu and the rest is history today. Same way many more are becoming more determined daily to not be second class to Northern insistent of Nigeria must be and what others must do or not do.
No greater hopeless fool other than a person in a relationship refusing to allow a partner leave rather than accept the love his gone and best to allow the fed-up partner to leave peacefully? I am happy for all the North is doing. Greed for slush funds from others has made them lose their sense to the extent they cannot see they are radicalising others irrevocably as Atiku and co did with Wike.
Imagine a bog standard Governor with the redundant mindset of 100% State sustenance with funds from Abuja, and no thoughts for IGR increment to boost self-sufficiency, making noise against Tinubu who was, as Governor, the champion of States using what they have to get what they need and still remains firmly dedicated to the idea today as President. The North is in for a long thing unless they change their mindset and approach to life. Nothing will change them, their primitive, archaic, stone-aged, babaric, backwards mentality is the main reason NIGERIA will never go forward Separation from these guys will definitely be heaven for the south. |

Wike needs to continue in his efforts at restoring normalcy to the FCT no matter whose ox is gored.

Politics › Re: Warri Refinery Runs At 60% Capacity — Kyari by skywalker240(m): 1:41pm On Jan 01, 2025 |
nairalanda1: Yes, because in my expereince, Nigerian leaders don't want to remove subsidies. They want to keep them in place. It keeps the peace, and it is a simple way to keep people happy (bread and circuses, even if it kills the economy). Tinubu removed subsides because the debt from keeping them had grown too large to keep them.
If Tinubu was so reform minded, why did he oppose GEJ's plan to remove subsides.? Why?
It is partly because GEJ was not brave to remove subsides that we have the problems we have now.
And tinubu and buhari were wrong in 2012 to oppose subsides, and GEJ was wrong not to totally remove them. As were most past leaders. We lost 4 good refineries and billions of dollars because our leaders could not take sane decisions.
Yes, because you tinubu supporters, IPOB, buhari, GEJ et al are all the same.
LIke now, you supported subsidy remaining in 2012, like tinubu, and now your side is in power, subsidy removal is the way forward. LIkewise, a lot of GEJ supporters supported subsidy removal in 2012, now they oppose it.
See how like you all are? And you are calling me flip flopper.
As for me, I was a strong subsidy supporter till 2012, when , despite the fact that I despised the government, I decided to do some reading, because I have been hearing subsidy removal since 1993. Repeatedly. And what I read woke me up.
I cannnot support your side or their side, because you guys use our economy to play ludo. Neither of you guys want to help Nigeria, you just want to win. And as for me, I am on the side of this country, even if it means being the only one. You are wise |

Remember, he was the one that announced price reduction first before the yeye NNPC followed suit No Dangote was trying to capitalize on the masses, NNPCL viewed him as a direct competition Dangote is likened to Beelzebub or a demon of high pricipality and the NNPCL is the Red Dragon with seven head's revelation talk's about |

ADAMUdaCOWBOY: This has nothing to do with subsidy and everything to do with Dangore refinery. With such a refinery with a large production capacity, the cabal cannot cough out silly amounts of refined products produced and sold to marketers and hence make silly claims for payment. The only way out for them would be to kill the dangote refinery which they couldn't and I give that credit to Tinubu. Now NNPC and the federal government knows if the NNPC refineries do not work, they are the ones to lose and that is why the refineries magically started working. Ask yourself, was Mele Kyari not there during Buhari's regime? Why is he getting it right now? What happened? There is extremely great sense in what you just said Hmmm 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 |

Left to dangote it will be an all northern affair Someone that partnered only with his brother and couldn't do same with other filling stations? Satazaa: Nigerians owes Dangote enormous gratitude for birthing his refinery, if not we will have still been stuck in the rot and the odious corruption of yester years in the petroleum sector as headlined by NNPC, that agency has to rank among the most fantastically corrupt government outfit the world has ever known, I never believed that Port Harcourt, Warri and possibly Kaduna will ever be able to refine a single barrel of oil again and boom here we are now, I never voted for Tinubu but himself and wike are gradually winning me over, kudos to them I didn't voted for Tinubu either, neither do I like him, but i must admit, he is winning my heart over too But the bitter truth remains that sensible Nigerians (no offense) can ever think of been grateful to a greedy, spoon-fed, heartless, ripping, cold blooded notorious monopolistic business man that was hoping to capitalize on the plights of Nigerians in the petroleum industry just to extremely suck them empty till the last drop of blood is off. That Man never meant well, it's just a coincidence those silly idiots (NNPCL) decided to start trying something that was previously abandoned, probably maybe because the FX reserves were depleting |

The cold blooded heartless ripper will be feeling seriously pained i guess? Without that monopolistic evil, the government ought to have done this since and the price of petrol would have been reduced and not waiting for a cold blooded, heartless ripping business man to bring competition As for Dangote and his evil intentions, they can go and drink their Fuel |
