dauntless15: If you're forty and single and yet struggling and this didn't motivate you to make it adding someone else's daughter to your miserable life won't motivate you to make it either, this explains why you're forty and struggling because you're dumb to some extent, someone who should be at a drawing board figuring out what went wrong or how he spent his youth chasing nonsense which led him to be a fool at forty is here concocting stupid superstitious stories of suddenly becoming successful just because you got married, marry naw, you go chop sand tire a bottle will become your best friend that is if you can even afford a drink after that wife of yours who's supposed to be your lucky charm sleeps around with multiple men to make ends meet simply because you couldn't. That op is clearly not even up to 40 He is really funny and confused |

You need to make a clarification on your submission; it's not accurate. Mustafa Hadji of the Atlas Lions of morroco, not El Hadji Diouf Did you watch France 98 or even Afcon 98? |

about few weeks ago during the Dangote refinery saga when Otedola wrote a lengthy post about the matter, on this forum, some people were saying that 'everybody is going against Tinubu, even the billionaires'. I remember telling them not to be hurry in their judgment, that everything was planned by Tinubu. Now Dangote is praising him, Bua chairman has praised him, very soon Otedola will follow suit, quote me. These people have always been friends, don't lose guard. Don't underrate Tinubu just because you don't like him, he's very cunning. VEHINTOLAR: Religion/Islam is the major factor holding the North back; that’s the truth! You can’t promote primitive, medieval ideas and expect progress—it’s simply not possible. You prefer to spend billions of Naira on religious activities instead of using the same funds to educate your large population of youths, the majority of whom are illiterate. If you truly want to progress, you need to reduce your religious extremism and outdated practices. You can’t have it both ways! The UAE is an Islamic country, yet they embrace modern education, and the results are evident for all to see. The North needs to wake up; you can’t continue to hold back Nigeria’s progress. Very backwards and useless religion |
Politics › Re: Northern Nigeria Has Been Left Behind, Emir Sanusi II Laments by skywalker240(m): 9:44pm On Dec 17, 2024 |
RealGandalf: Sanusi II understands the causative factors of underdevelopment in the north.
1. Religious intolerance: The Muslims and Christians in the north don't really cohabit well enough. The Christians are always scared because of constant persecution; hence, they built walls around themselves and went back into their shells.
A good example was the killing and burning of late Deborah for typing "Holyghost fire" in her school's WhatsApp group. They misinterpreted it, asked her to apologize and when she refused, they pounced on her, hit her with iron rods, sticks, and all, and eventually burnt her to death.
Till this day, no justice has been served. This and many other reasons why the Christians stay on their lanes.
Solution: There's urgent need to resentize all Muslim youth and even elders in the North that Christians are never their enemies. Constant attacks and aggression against Christians and people of other faiths will drive away investors. They should sound the alarm all through the mosques, villages and streets.
2. Education: Too many muslim brilliant minds are wasting away in the north because many believe that secular education is a Christian invention, and therefore, they don't have any need for it. This ideology was part of the reason Boko Haram was born. Boko Haram means the secular education is harama.
Goodluck Jonathan wanted to change the narrative so that the north can be repositioned, but they killed the project because of the hate against anything secular and Christianity. Though Christians in the north don't share the ideology. But because of marginalization, they haven't had the opportunities to lead in most cases.
Solution: There is a need for sensitization across all mosques and villages so that the archaic idealogy can change for the better. They should also ensure to erase terrorism. The terrorism started from having the wrong ideology that they need to jihad and by the context of their jihad, it means attacking and eliminating non muslims. Such ideology need to stop.
3. Impossible laws: The sharia law is not working. Nigeria is a secular state; people should not have sharia law in a secular state. There are no states in northern Nigeria where significant numbers of Christians are not found. It is now confusing why anyone would implement sharia laws in a state where there are diverse religious groups.
Hisbah should relax its laws on confiscating alcoholic beverages and allow for liberal ways of life. I agree that having moral police is very necessary, especially in this age where more than half of teenagers are rushing into frauds and other negative vices.
Solution: They should rely more on the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria instead of the sharia law. Also, these kinds of out-of-place behaviours of confiscating foods and items that the Nigerian constitution allows send negative signals to the rest of the world. Nobody will be happy to invest in such places.
The hate needs to stop. The aggression against other non-Muslims needs to stop.
That is when the north will start to develop. They are not more Muslims than Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and others. Every point and the solution you listed, all has everything to do with that Archaic, stone-aged, babaric, backward and hate filled holier than thou religion Pisss |

Namaster: He argued that the continued detention of Bodejo breaches his fundamental human rights and violates sections 34, 35, and 36 of the 1999 Constitution.
Politicians sure know the constitution when it suits them.
Okuama community was RAZED to the ground by the USELESS criminals called soldiers.
Soldiers KIDNAPPED 2 ELDERLY community leaders. Soldiers TORTURED these OLD men to DEATH.
NOBODY in the National Assembly has said ANYTHING up till this moment.
They let the soldiers kill the people of that community and MURDER 2 old men.
They said NOTHING! They did NOTHING!
Now, the leader of Miyetti Allah, a known TERRORIST organisation whose members attacked a Retired General, was arrested.
Suddenly the DEAF and DUMB Assembly swung into action and started passing resolutions and quoting constitution.
Insanity!
What is good for Okuama is good for Miyetti Allah.
If SOME people are protected because of the constitution while OTHERS are violated despite the constitution, then they are NOT one people.
If that's how it is, BREAK Nigeria! If not for the irredeemable foolishness of the southern rep's and Senates, those two old Men wouldn't have died for nothing |
