Any small mistake: drop this player, invite this one ,invite that one, sack the coach etc.Haba!!! Anyway Odion Jude Igahlo Where are your ACCUSERS? The coach/team is not awesome yet but the truth is this: Analyzing football objectively and wholesomely as is proper, should be left to mature people. |

edi287: Etebo is too bloody inconsistent. I once said he reminded me of Ramsey. Jack of all trades, master of none. I love seeing dude carry the ball and breeze pass people but his inconsistency is getting annoying. Someone needs to slap his agent for that Stoke move ESPECIALLY before a WC. Very daft move... I can't put a finger on what is wrong with that guy. I actually think he's a decent player but his display atimes leaves much to be desired. The coming matches will tell us more. |

Maybe it's too early. But the teams to beat at that next Afcon are 1) Tunisia - The only team with a 100% record in the qualifiers so far. They've gone on to win every single game so far in a group shared with Egypt. 2) Nigeria - Have won 3 on the bounce and are seated at the top of their group. Poised to progress. 3) Ivory Coast - Potential turnaround for the team after a decline in recent years. 4) Senegal - Have already booked a place at the competition next year with 2 games to spare, alongside group opponents Madagascar. 5) Egypt - Always favorites.
Likely Upsetters 1) Uganda - While some may argue that they're placed in a soft group consisting of Lesotho, Cape Verde and Tanzania. They've done well to excellently dispatch most of their games so far and have a 100% record away from home. They are five points clear at the top of their group with 10 points and now need just a point from their remaining 2 games to progress. 2) Madagascar - Though not a household name in continental football, they've done very well so far and have already qualified with 2 games to spare after amassing a whopping 10 points from the first 4 games.
Probable Flops These teams have played poorly,in compacrison to their actual level. *One or two of these teams are likely to carry poor form into the competition and get knocked out early on. 1) Cameroon 2) Morocco 3) Algeria 4) Mali |

Odunayaw: Coaching or defensive puupuu!!?
Ball watching Leon Balogun and hesitant Aina caused the equalizer My jaw dropped when I say the replay of that goal. Aina practically avoided the ball like a plague. Very bad bad blunder. The only positive I can take is that he's now at Torino: He can get better playing top football week in week out. Though I must add, asides that error he wasn't bad. |

edi287: We desperately need a controller. Unless we play a 4-3-3 with Ndidi - Ogu - Etebo with Iwobi on the left. When Mikel comes back - we'll go back to Mikel - Ndidi - Etebo with Iwobi outwide. No disrespect to the players but. . . You know the combination of Mikel Etebo Ndidi follow in what killed us in Russia bah? |

Taliban: My naïve conclusions from this game;
Aina was a liability. Kalu still a lot of work to do Etebo-Ndidi-Iwobi not the dream midfield trio.
Ogu brought freshness and stability to the midfield but baba don old small and he's kind of slow. Perhaps a midfield of Ogu-Ndidi and iwobi could work or maybe the terrier himself, Onazi. I saw Etebo's performance today. Most times he looked like he just wasn't scratching it. If he continues this way. The conclusion may just be that he's not good enough. Looking forward to us drafting in better quality in that midfield right there. Eze of QPR looks like an interesting prospect. If we're going to be playing two DMFs going forward,we need better quality in that position. Probably in the mold of a Regista (or at least someone growing into one) |

tbaba1234: Uzoho needs competition..
And that competition will not come from Akpeyi and Ezenwa..
We need to draft in better subs. I don't believe Uzoho was complacent today. His problem was match rustiness. Lack of match sharpness. It showed in the unusual errors i.e Couldn't catch the ball, grab properly and stuff like that. |

Danielnino00: How many big games has Kalu played in his career? Onyekuru has been consistent since his days at Eupen. He went to Anderlecht and held his own against a star studded PSG team in the champions league.. Rohr being a Bordeaux fan will easily pick Kalu ahead of Onyekuru. we all know how d man behaves. Onyekuru is well ahead of Kalu abeg.. How many big games has the Onyekuru played? Compared to Kalu his fellow youngster?. You're funny. I think Rohr feels Kalu is more matured and so starts Kalu.not because of being a Bordeaux fan. Remember Onyekuru featured way before Kalu in the GWG giving him an edge. But yet Kalu starts now. |

Danielnino00: Onyekuru that has more career goals than Kalu?? Onyekuru scored over 15 goals in his first season in the Belgian league... how many did Kalu score? Kalu might be better than Onyekuru when it comes to dribbling but Onyekuru always cap his performance with goals and assists that's a sign of football maturity... Kalu needs to work on his final ball product... Maturity is not about career goals. Putting 2 young players in comparison, one may play against poorer opponents and therefore rack up more career goals earlier on. Maturity has to do with how either of the young players can handle the big stage when they're put there. That explains the poor decisions by Kalu on the previous match day. Watching Onyekuru closely during his cameo,he also made poor calls more than once until that assist. Currently I'd say Kalu is better placed though they're both not there yet. |

zoboizee: Bordeaux this season have been so average. Persnoally,I will pick Lookman over Kalu. He tends to be too concerned with dribbling. He is good no doubt, but technically & with maturity of purpose on the field, Simon,Onyekuru, Success & even Emem Eduok will get my nod over him. Onyekuru doesn't get the nod ahead of Kalu in maturity. |

edi287: I've watched Samuel Kalu. If you think as of 2018 that Everton and Bordeaux are on the same level, then I don't know what to say. Bordeaux is on Burnley's level. This isn't a history lesson. Samuel Kalu has potential but he will be lucky to make Everton's bench. Bordeaux and Everton are on the same level. How can you compare Bordeaux with Burnley? Haha I feel like laughing: That's a joke but it's not funny. |

darkelf: Everton had to battle Arsenal, Burnley, Leicester, Chelsea et al for that position.
Which then is harder? Haha,so that's how you're looking at it. Now I get. Both are different leagues and have their own difficulties. It is just as difficult for Bordeaux in France as it is for Everton in England. |

https://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/country/#/yr/2019
Take a look at the Football leagues ranking by uefa No. You got it all wrong to say they play in a weaker league so they qualify all the time. No. The top teams asides PSG are nearly evenly matched. Add to that, Ligue 1 has only ONE single spot for Europa. Just ONE! This means once they miss top 3 (Champions League) spots Bordeaux has to battle the likes of St. Etienne,Lyon,Rennes,Lille,Montpellier et al for that single (4th place) Europa spot! It's no mean feat. Hence, the perspective of your statement is wrong. |

[s]Bordeaux plays in a weaker league and thus, it's easier for them to qualify and appear in more Europa games. [/s]

Earthquake1: Nigeria has the best array of wingers in Africa, possibly in Europe B
True or false? I just checked Europe B teams. Placing Nigeria side by side with those teams in Europe B,Nigeria beats them hands down for sheer number of talented wingers. However, our players are very young and inexperienced, they need to mature first. To put it simply, you're not far from the truth. |
