As we have seen in the news this afternoon where the Eze Etekwuru traditional palace was burnt down, burning of palaces is now taking a recurring form.

This current news will bring to the number of monarch's palace burnt to the ground in Imo state to 3 within a month.

Remember this is also what happened in Nembe Brass months ago. The youths got fed up and stormed the king's palace, burning and destroying everything in sight.

Also recently I have seen Opobo youths online express utter disappointment in the traditional stool.

From this news I will bet my money that if some monarchs in nearby Rivers don't watch it their palaces may be burnt down. This shows that monarchy may actually be alien to the people.
