Many of those flags lowered across the East will never go back up again. It hurts those in power and the one Nigerianists so so much. There can only be one government in the East. And the government is the people ![]()

Caseless:Not really. The Igbo have the lowest representation in the armed forces. |

Continue. Ukpana Okpoko gburu... God knows best. |
Remember last guber election their was order of no election in Anambra, they were using vehicles with public announcement system going round the state on election day our people came out to exercise their right Anambra is APGA
Seems you're in denial. What I'll tell you is that if you die we Igbos on Nairaland will be greatly saddened. A pillar would have fallen. Use your tongue to count your teeth. Daalu. |
Afamed:Your gallant forces are being decimated everyday that's the matter on the table. You don't have to engage me. |
blackmantis:I don't have to. |
Afamed:You have been making noise on Nairaland for years now. You were part of those who hailed your gallant forces for wasting unarmed youths all those years. Your soldiers were not terrorists to you. You were so happy and you felt untouchable. Now the hen has come home to roost. The boys now have guns too. Suddenly you start to flash the terrorist tag. You and others who supported evil all those years will be swallowed up by it. |
Graysons:Yes. Carry on. |
My problem with people who wail about unknown gunmen is that they never criticized the soldiers when all these was happening. They were rather hailing the killer soldiers. Now these boys have guns too and have begun killing the soldiers like flies they are complaining. |
How recent is this. Let me say it, this man is pushing his luck real hard. If he continues appearing in public canvassing for votes he will be attacked and the news will be a sad one. |
Graysons:That's what you don't know. Your picture does not bother any Igbo person. It's so incredible how Igbo people are misunderstood, I wonder how you think that lame picture will irritate any Igbo person. |
Graysons:Why do you keep regurgitating this picture like a robot on loop. |
Good a cousin survived. The truth will soon spill. |
What about the 8 others? |
CandyOps:A lot of innocent people were shot and their bodies lying about and nobody is saying anything ![]() |
Gosh. |
goatgoat093:Maybe it is two separate groups and events. Maybe it happened in sequence, one later. But interestingly both happened at the same location. And no where in the news has the details of this mass killing of bystanders been focused on. Why? |
A video which was shared online from an eyewitness after the shooting at Nkpor (during which Dr Akunyili was killed) actually shows several other people killed. The position of the corpses shows this were mere bystanders who were possibly first hand witnesses to what transpired). It would seem from the video that the unknown gunmen (some time afterwards killing Dr Akunyili) opened fire on people. But nothing is being said about this side of the story. Why? There's something fishy going on, especially in the media. Here's the link to the video (forget the accusations the respondent is making. Watch the corpses) : https://twitter.com/i/status/1443181042647670784 Sorry to sound so blunt but when did unknown gunmen who have major grudges with security operatives begin opening fire on onlookers. The group when they waylaid the Doctor were reportedly shouting no election no election. Then later shot several people dead. Why? Is this a cover up? |
The chaos happening in the East may be from different sources at once. However I picked something very key in all of this. When it was reported a few weeks ago that IPOB burnt someone in an 18 seated bus while enforcing sit at home. After the news had gone viral was when the truth came out that the bus was burnt on the Sunday before and nobody was inside. Unfortunately a certain Yul Edochie had bought the narrative cheaply and quickly ran to social media to flay IPOB. During the height of unknown gunmen attacks in Imo state a political figure in the mold of Mungono cleverly arranged for Gulak to be killed by "unknown gunmen" along the expressway while the deceased was still in Imo state. While the unknown gunmen attacks were rampant in Enugu, a certain supreme court justice was trailed to Ebeano plaza junction where he was blocked and conveniently shot by "unknown gunmen" in full view of onlookers and bystanders. Also, in Enugu an unknown science professor with little or no clout was "conveniently" killed alongside his mopol escort by unknown gunmen who "saw" the escort and killed him and the professor too. All these "conveniently" happened during the height of unknown gunmen attacks on security operatives. Now the same has befallen Dr Akunyili, conveniently dispatched off during the "no election" crusade by unknown gunmen. Like the incidence where the "attackers" hoisted a Biafran flag at Ogbunike, this ones were "conveniently" shouting no election no election. Was the said Dr campaigning? Was he carrying out a rally? Was he having a party train to canvass for votes? The sad takeaway from all these is that chaos breeds more chaos. Nigeria has turned the East chaotic with her injustice and highhandedness for decades now. It may hurt to hear this but IPOB like the rest of the Igbos are the victims in this case. They are only revolting now and the end to this is not really in sight. |
Neddstark:So the family is lying? |
Very unfortunate incident. However there are conflicting reports on what really happened. We hope the whole truth is unraveled as soon as possible. |
Why did the family say he was killed along Enugu Onitsha expressway? Are we sure it's not two differents incidents being mixed up? |
