stanluiz: If sit at home has been cancelled then why is ipob members still insisting that it must hold ?
Why are they still issuing threat, intimidations and violence ? Why are they burning trucks and destroying business of people because they came out to look for their daily bread.
Is it not ipob that deploy Thugs, touts and hoodlums to enforce sit at home ?
Ipob has turned to Taliban of the east.
Ipob has install fear in the masses of igbo people. The so called freedom fighters has turn to Oppressive autocrats and tyrants!!
Nigeria is bad but ipob biafra will be 10x worse than Nigeria. Who is issuing threats, faceless groups? This is from Vanguard : https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/08/ipob-cancels-monday-sit-at-home-reschedules-exercise/ Added to the cancelation IPOB has said the security personnel can arrest anybody enforcing sit at home. So who are the persons you're talking about? Now, in addition to the above : before this recent Nnamdi Kanu arrest, all this time sit at home achieves maximum compliance was it fear that was making people stay in? |

stanluiz: Fair trial does not mean that he won't go to jail. His Esn Ugm that was killing security forces has nailed him.
Even if he is not jailed on October 21st . He will remain in prison till 2023 till buhari step down unless ipob will do sit at home till 2023. Okay. Nnamdi Kanu will be nailed in court as you have shown. So everything should be settled in court between IPOB and FG. May I at this time remind you that the sit at home has been canceled. So how can you have problem with a canceled sit at home? |

Yes you're right, a fair trial may still land him in jail if the FG can prove ESN are responsible for killing security personnel. Now, if he is not found guilty but still remains in prison (like he is now) what do you recommend IPOB should do? |
Politics › Re: The Number Of Anti-Sit At Home Threads On Nairaland Is Becoming Alarming by SlayerForever(op): 3:51pm On Sep 10, 2021 |
stanluiz: Ipob should go and fight the FG in the law Court where there leader is facing treason charges. That is the only war I know.
If they can't do that. Then should rest. Not by issuing sit at home that is bad affecting our the economy of our region.
Nigeria Economy is bad plus the Covid19 pandemic that our region has not fully recovered from yet Ipob is issuing sit at home.
What about our students that are writing WAEC ? Do ipob have human sympathy at all ?
Freedom fighters that are oppressing their people. Aru! It is how ipob win run biafra then it's better we stay in Nigeria. To defeat them in the law court is a good idea. So in essence, there is a strong assurance IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu will get a fair trial and everybody will go home happy afterwards? |

stanluiz: Recommendation like how ? We are not the one that arrest and hold Nnamdi kanu.
Nnamdi kanu should face his crime in the law Court and ipob should stop disturbing our peace in the east in the name of sit at home.
Business has been destroy. People has been killed by ipob hoodlums in the name of enforcing sit at home.
If ipob are mad. Then they should take their madness to Abuja where there their dilector is been caged. So your suggestion is for IPOB ESN to go to war with FG? |

stanluiz: Even OP that called himself Igbo nationalist is supporting that useless sit at home that is affecting the socio economic activities in the east.
Sit at home is not a way to protest. You are cutting your nose to spite your face thinking that you are doing the FG.
Know this. Sit at home is not affecting the FG. I know most ipob members think that sits at home is affecting Buhari but they are living In delusion.
Ipob is using violence and threat to enforce the sit at home yet you don't see anything wrong with it.
One thing am sure is that Igbo nation will stand . Useless ipob fraud will come and go but igbo nation will stand and shame her enemies. Thanks for voicing out. Supporting a sit at home does not invalidate being an Igbo nationalist. Now, in place of the sit at home, what are the recommendations you will like to forward? |

Ekealterego: By their fruits you shall know them. I tell you these guys lack tact and are not very bright. They expose themselves before long. You should have told the guy to carry his own people that are like-minded to stage a protest and collect the freedom so we too can enjoy. Afterall, true Igbos have organised peaceful protests and road walk for a long time now. Ndi ngbu! Lol! |

[s] Solsix: Freedom is not given, it is taken. Yoruba people held thier protest organized by Sunday igboho despite intimidation by FG and security operatives, the protest still held and scores were kidnapped and lives were lost. No get have gotten freedom through sit at home. Sit up nna [/s] There's nothing one will not see on Nairaland. Look at the people countering sit at home. I actually thought they had key suggestions. cc Ekealterego read the suggestion Solsix gave. |

Abohboy: Sit at home has shown that there can be unity among Igbo people the next move now is to use this unity to your advantage If in the context of Nigerian politics, that water has crossed under the bridge. Nigeria had over six decades to get it right with the Igbo people and she failed woefully. No solution will be accepted anymore, only secession. For people like you who prefer political correctness even in the face of obvious systemic failure, posterity will judge who was right. |

You can relate? Interestingly, Zik called himself a pan Africanist just like this Aboh.boy. Then went on to do this in political correctness.

Abohboy: Okay then go and start your civil war just know this time the death toll will likely be triple what it was back then. So in conclusion, no working alternative from you to replace the sit at home. Let me just chip in something here. Though war is bad and the majority will not wish for another civil war I have seen that war and early nationhood are intertwined. The greatest nations had to fight several wars in their early years to achieve stability and become great later. *drops pen*. |

Abohboy: The whole point of starting these polititcal organizations and movement is so you can have a peaceful secession it's either you gain power democratically and change the constitution so a referendum can be held or you have a bloody civil war and where exactly does extremism come into play in my comments? You are too close minded to see the PEOPLE NO WANT AGAIN! No political solution to the Igbo agitation anymore. You just can't see it! Haba! In your extremist parochial political correctness people like you crossed over to the Nigerian side to join a genocidal war against Biafrans. We have seen this attitude before. Asika, Azikiwe and co

Abohboy: Then they have no intention of moving forward as one people I see no reason why they'd rather have millions of themselves killed instead of forming a political party and uniting with over political groups with like minded ideologies and views. This comment is so twisted and wrong. They have no intention of moving forward because they're not interested in Nigeria anymore? Almost 70 years of wilderness in this godforsaken country and the people want to leave but to you they are not ready to move forward. You are a short distance away from political extremism. If you were in power you would kill all Igbo secessionists. Gosh. |

Abohboy: What's stopping you from creating a political party and uniting all the Igbos under it? If this party could win 90% of positions in the house if assembly as well as governorship positions what exactly is stopping them from spreading their influence into other parts of the south giving it the chance to win the presidential election? I've already started with this since December 2020 i've joined a political movement and we've been trying to get registered and we've done at least 20 grassroot meetings in Lagos, Ogun, Anambra, Kano, Kogi and Rivers and as more members join the movement can become bigger the only way to move forward in politics is through action. Good suggestion. Uniting all Igbos in Nigeria under one political party can get us many things truly. Now, the next question is : what if the Igbos have zero interest in doing so. What then? |

Solsix: Sit at home is a useful tool in biafra agitation but when it's frequently used it becomes a burden on the people. Imagine not doing any meaniful business for two days?? Due you know the economic loss for most companies?? How will you convince an investor to invest in south east with limited working days?? If this trend continues profit margin will reduce and retrenchment will follow. You know the consequences of unemployment?? The worst is burning down businesses who fail to comply and in worst case death of fellow igbo man. In one whatsapp group aguy encourage people to register and get thier PVC. One IPOB guy threatened his life and even promised to send unknown gun men and even burn his house. This is a church whatsapp group if u must know. There is a job I do on Mondays to Wednesday, the job is online because of sit at every Mondays. The demerit of weekly sit at home cannot be over emphasize. If we really want to get Buharis attention we do something that will touch him or Nigeria economy. Sit at home is destroying south east economy. Imagine you closing you business every Monday because police arrested your father? How does that affect the police?? Yes, sitting at home more than once stretches the people too much and then the economic demerits is there too as outlined. Correct. I will ignore the numerous merits of the sit at home. Now a question for you : as we have seen these possible demerits like retrenchment, induced employment etc what is a much better working alternative we can use to replace the weekly (suspended) sit at home? |

enemybulldozer: How do you take political power without the INEC?? Are you the one controlling INEC?? Do you really think that the powers that be will allow IPOB to take over political power in the East just like that?? Ok, can you tell us what happened to the mandate Imo citizens gave to Emeka Ihedioha?? Boy is like you're not in this country to know and understand how things work here. Is it not funny how someone who is not abreast with the political maneuvering in the country is countering IPOB sit at home. What is happening bikonu. This is worrisome. |
