The Nicholas Jackson cost Chelsea another win

Once you get rid of Jackson Chelsea will win their games 100-1.

Defence no need just outscore

Is it that Amaju and the cabals at NFF select players for these coaches or what exactly? I mean looking at players like Ekong, Ndidi and co, they have no business omin this team at all.
Those ones still dey use seniority enter team.

Why are we defending 2-1 lead? 🤷‍♂️

This coach lasan. We should actually be on the ascendancy instead of capitulating and trying to play like a small EPL team who got lucky to score against a big team trying to defend the goal.
This Chelle even dey try. Shebi he has won like 3 of 5 games

All those Finidi Peseiro Eguavoen don spoil market before today

How many politicians are in the East, and how many have you seen with Kanu since he was arrested?
The case doesn't even have any bearing again. The judge has been removed.
Ekpa that was arrested in February has been convicted in Finland. Kanu that was arrested for almost the same thing has been going back and forth for 5 years.
To top it all, the same people who are labeled terrorists like him, got juicy settlements and Chieftaincy titles.
It won't be long before we see Southern senators, and not just the SE shouting for his release in the Senate.
Most politicians in the East either openly support Kanu or are not bold enough to condemn him in public, Even Peter Obi was exonerating and defending his activities

The difference is that Ekpa does not have Finnish politicians defending him or acting as his driver or signing a bail on his behalf

I agree that its the anyhowness of Nigeria that made people like Abaribe not to be arrested when Kanu jumped bail

I don't know but was some new minerals discovered in that axis that is leading to these killings? I thought mining has been going on in those areas for years now so what suddenly changed?
It is possible because illegal mining attract different criminals. I wan mine illegal gold, izzou wan mine illegal. How we no go clash? It becomes a battle for illegal resources, when you don mine finish and when leaving, another set of people go waylay you to snatch your proceeds. All these bring insecurity. like those in Zamfara and I think Ilesha, There was a youtube clip where they said some of those miners come all the way from Burkina Faso and Mali. Really battle hardened people

Another evidence all these traditional rulers are now political weapon
For every king, the commissioner for chieftain affairs have to approve, then state governor have to approve

I saw all the Rolls Royces they pulled to the event and you know say most likely na governor dey fund all the kings, dey pay them salary and can remove them
Traditional rulers are just dress up actors with no real powers.

Our police and military personnels are seriously lacking in courage.

That VDM video where he and his convoy were running towards victims of highway kidnapping was a clear pointer to this, like they literally passed police personnels that were fully armed yet stood doing nothing, by the time VDM retruned to pick up a gun shot victim, the police officers he passed along the way had driven the other way, away from the scene of the kidnap.

Why do our agencies have to receive Orders to respond to a threat in their front?

I remember as a kid, we were traveling to Ibadan, and we experienced a robbery along Ibadan expressway. After the robbers finished and fled, some cars drove quickly to the next checkpoint to call the Police

Police said they don't have orders to leave there, and that they cannot leave oh.

Na so everybody count him loss and left. God being kind, nobody was shot at all. They only shot in the air to scare people from going after them, as they ran into the bush.
They are not lacking in courage, All armed forces and law enforcement, you must always wait for orders. If they dont receive the orders and you engage. even if you save peoples lives, Na discipline you dey face and later turn to you offed innocent bandits without orders

You are already risking your life to engage bandeets, only for your superiors to throw you under the bus

You dont need to be Einstein to see that these activities get the backing of some people whether military brass, politicians or local chiefs

Is the university system in America different from the one in Nigeria because I don't understand how you will be a student in a university setting and not have friends to hang around with unless it's by choice.
There are cultural differences. Abroad most people keep to themselves. You might have a neighbor and barely speak to each other. You have to make yourself almost a nuisance to get new engagement

With technology and phones your best friend might even be across the world so no too much need to engage snobby people. There are even some families that the kids and parents inside the same house only talk to themselves through WhatsApp or SM

Even if we check here. Some of us are more familiar. I can jump on your post and insult you or engage with no hard feelings a new poster who isnt very bold might feel left out and just keep to themselves

Also as a student most people have the cliques and different struggles. When I was in school the Indian clique be like cult. They always get the right study materials, the Teaching assistants who are usually Indians too go don give them pointers on where to study. They know every. I had to forcefully go toast an Indian babe before she begin cut soap for me. Did same with the Chinese cliques too

Also our struggles are different. We will be thinking of where to find side job after classes dem dey hang out for bars and club after hours to bond

You find out that after leaving class as strangers today tomorrow some are best friends cos of hanging out while we wey don go find work are still strangers

So is the encyclopedia wrong too?
Do you think what govt did during pandemic when they deployed some half truths to protect public health count as positive propaganda

Almost every policy can be spun positive or negative. It depends on how its done

The system as been there, people have been paying taxes they just want more
That is because many people are escaping the tax net. So they need to capture more

In some US states you pay 50% of your income as tax before you even spend a kobo. You earn 1m, you pay 500k. In some European countries its even worse some as high as 60%

In my beloved country, every damn thing is almost free and usable but the ever hungry-tax kleptomaniac wouldn’t fix anything but still want more.

We are on the wrong side with electricity despite enuf hydro……no water anywhere despite availability of good source…roads are dead ..security is non existent.

Why then is the benefit of paying taxhuh
when police downed tools around the endsars times you saw how chaotic things are. Where do you think payment of police come from?

Where do you think they get the child and elder benefit money from? Its from those who pay taxes whether you have children or not, whether you have elders or not, you pay. whether you like the project or not

They refund you from the money you have overpaid. If you havent overpaid you will likely owe taxes

And that is one of the worst offences you can commit, They are like the mob, they must collect to the last penny with interest on top

That's the issue.

A country in which Bayo Onanuga will insult anybody that dares to ask why Tinubu travels to France and UK every two months; forgetting he is junketing about with taxpayer's money. That is the country they want to force everybody to pay tax o.

A country in which u will be called names for trying to hold public office holders accountable; a country where security agencies will start hounding you for speaking truth to power like Mailafia did about Fulani herdsmen and DSS went after him
Trump like most American president every weekend go to play golf with security details on taxpayers money.

You really think security agencies do not hound people in other countries?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by sleekdot(m): 1:36pm On Sep 19, 2025
BlueRayDick:
I understand western countries taxing everybody and giving everybody a right to hold their public office holders accountable.

As for Nigeria, I can't say the same. Tinubu has removed subsidy for 2 years now we no see the dividend on our collective wellbeing. They are busy awarding phony contracts to their cronies; contracts that do not pass through normal due process.

Nobody will be elated to pay tax to a government in which some unscrupulous elements will be dictating with force whom we can vote for and whom we cannot.

It expected that everyone will try as much as they can not to pay tax to that kind of government. The government will need to go extra mile to earn the trust of the people if not, a whole lot of people will sit, and devise means to jump out of the tax net.
All these ones na political yarns. Half of Americans do not like their president nor the ruling party nor any of his policies yet dem no born dem well not to pay taxes

As for multiple taxes Yes, you pay on your income, the money left when buying goods you pay, when you use the money to buy property you pay property taxes, when you use the money to buy stocks or real estate and it gains, when you sell you pay capital gains
