mechoau:
Is there anyone presently a student in the university of sunderland? Or a prospective student.
I got a conditional offer from the school and it says I have to pay a tuition deposit of 3500 pounds before I can get a cas. I was on their finance website today and realized that the full tuition fee has to be paid during student enrollment.
Is this true? Because I met few people that said I am only required to pay up to 50% of the tuition during my enrollment and I can spread the remaining balance later.

I got the same offer too, can you please help me out with the format of letter you send as a proof of degree taught in English language.
I would DM you.

CruzJoe:
pls what is the difference between web design and web development....... Or re they the same.

2: what spec of laptop would you recommend for someone that want to go into this skills
1.Web design refers to the User Interface design of a website using software like photoshop, illustrator, sketch up.
Web development refers to turning the design to code with HTML, CSS, PHP. Nowadays the difference between the two are blurred, and the two words are most times interchangeable used.
A web designer is expected to be able to at least be able to transform his/her design to code at least using HTML, CSS and frameworks like WordPress
A web developer is expected to have experience in at least coming up with designs as well as be able to code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and a server-side language to be able to come up with customized websites (example web apps/websites used in booking, etc).

2. Recommended laptop would generally depend on your budget and taste. A minimum recommended laptop should have
RAM: at least 4GB RAM(2GB can suffice tho)
Processor: Core 2 Duo (a dual core processor) 1.6 GHz or faster, but a core i5 would be nice.

He is talking abt efficiency. The thing is, with an 80 watt panel and a 12v battery, 80/12=6.7a. This meas at 100% efficiency, ur panel will send 6.7a to the battery per hr. So, if ur 100ah battery is at 0%, it will take over 20hrs of sunlight to get it to 100%. That is the limitation here. at an efficiency of 80%, the time will be longer.

However, it is not likely u will discharge ur battery that low. let's recall that ...
ur need is just 1hr usage with a 200watt load. soooo.... 200/12=16.7a. This means u will use only abt 17amps for an hour. bad as e go bad, for inefficiency issues, let's say u use 25amps for ur 1hr daily need.

Now, let's assume ur battery for whatever reason is at 90% an not 100%. at 90% (90amps) drawing 25amps would take the battery to 65amps.
Or better still, since u only drew out 25amps, replacing same 25amps using ur panel will take just abt 6hrs of sunlight when we consider inefficiencies. Soooo, for ur projector usage, my initial suggestion will work. with extra 3-4k u will get a 100watts panel. but its even better to get an mppt solar controller than can convert wasted voltage to more charging current. (actually, panels give out more than 12volts but ur 5k charge controller will step it down to 12v to charge ur battery. the extra 5-7volts is then wasted away. a mppt controller however helps to convert the "wasted" voltage to more charging current. as u may deduce, it will cause u extra bucks.)
I am indeed wiser after reading this, would put everything you said into consideration and ask more questions later. Thanks so much for your detailed response

I don't think that 80watts panel will be able to charge the 100 mah battery effectively
Do u mean effectively: like it wouldn't charge quickly or it would never fully charge it?

He is talking of car battery not the deep cycle battery. it ain't advisable to use car battery. But u can get China 100ah for 40k
so i can get a setup like this
1. Get a 50ah 100ah battery for 30k 40k
2. get an 80watts panel for 15k
3. get a China charge controller for 5k
4. get a fairly used ups for 5k
Total approx 65k

Nice point but he must add a contingency plan whilst going solar for miscellaneous cable, breaker fuse procurement costs etc .. So he needs to balance up his budget a bit instead tryna squeeze a square peg into a round hole ... When some clients come up with this brain cracking proposition , that's when you see most advicing they use sealed car batteries which ain't best for deep discharge purposes but a 100a brand new car smf battery will serve him at less than same 30k, whilst he opts in for solar as he can even get a fairly new 20a pwm charge controller from me and a brand new 80-120w solar panel at discounted prices !

Note: while the op plans for just 200w at less than 2 hrs run time, solar integration gives you a head room to run at longer hours without solely depending on grid - gen supply ceteris paribus !

are you saying i can get a 100ah battery for 30k ish?
Science/Technology / Re: How To Create A Locally Made Inverter With Ease by sleekest(m): 3:54pm On Mar 17, 2018

I don't think 200ah battery is necessary for projector application. Since ur budget is 50k, I think u should...

1. get a 50ah battery for abt 30k.
2. get a 1000 watts inverter for 13k.
3. get a 20a battery charger for 15k
Total 58k

or,
1. get a used ups for 5k
2. get a 50ah battery for 30k
3. get a 20a battery charger for 15k
Total 50k
Here, ur ups will serve as inverter. get a ups without its battery cos that will make it cheap.

or
1. Get a 50ah battery for 30k
2. get an 80watts panel for 15k
3. get a China charge controller for 5k
4. get a fairly used ups for 5k
Total 55k
Here, u can use solar to charge and also use ups to charge. of cos, ur ups will serve as inverter.

A load of 200w drawing from a 12 volts battery will pull abt 17a per hr. That is less than 50%draw of ur battery. Taking into consideration inefficiencies, bad as e go bad, u will only pull 60-70% energy from ur battery at the close of whatever u intend to do for 1hr-1:30hr. @sleekest
Thanks so much for this useful information, would consider increasing my budget a bit.

50k is small to procure a good setup as I won't advise you to go for used batteries
How much then? the Projector would be used one hour a day for 5 days a week, so I just need recommendations on a setup that can last up to an hour.

from following this thread, getting a 40ah battery and a 12V inverter would do and can give me about 1hr 30mins, but then I may be wrong.

Like I said earlier , the weekly plan is trottled. This is done because of the increment of the monthly plan, if you so the sum of the weekly plan its lesser than the amount of the monthly plan hence this decision. They know some mathematicians will switch to weekly plan and save the remaining 0000s
Very true, the weekly plan is throttled. Confirmed it

Design a login/registration form in Adobe Photoshop and code it in Android Studio
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4m77EAZvzSnR0lsfq_mq7g

I started a new channel, which i am dedicating to android programming tutorials and gadget reviews (mainly because I get lot of gadgets, not the popular brands tho).

My main focus is to teach android app programming, touching topics that real apps are made of (or mainly what I believe they are made up of), from login/register UI to verification, managing data, using CRUD, etc. I intend to release videos on weekly or bi-weekly basis and also all source code would be shared too.

Enough of the long talk, if you intend to join me in learning, subscribe to my channel, or you just wanna drop a comment on what next I should do or how to improve would love to hear from you peeps.
