This is a case of growing cultism in nigerrian society. The young generation is turning to cultism for redemption |
The usually boisterous and bubbling shitta area in surulere lagos was thrown into chaos this evening as 3 people were reported shot dead in the area. Shitta is a notorious area for high level of trauncy even though it is sorrounded by notable landmarks like the popular teslim balogun stadium, adeniran ogunsanya which habours several top class bussiness. Police in hundreds is sighted all around the area making different kind of aggresive arrest any other resident of the area can hint us more on the happenings around there |

for along while there has been this silent debate about which bank stands out in terms of service quality, many will stand for GTbank, others Firstbank some UBA others WEMA bank some Access bank and still some vouch for Fidelity but which one really stands out most lets give our indepth reasons and contributions |
i wrote this based some proven facts many of the so called sex enhancement drugs are not approved still havent seen any yet in the pharmacy |
most people tend to go wrong when |

i hear people posting abt privilegdes given to service men in other countries and i dont doubt that but what i am saying here is there is a big difference between priviledge and right. Moreover the idea of not collecting fares from the to avoid "agberos" is not ethical. Is the practise of agbero a legal one so the whole thing oozes illegality |
if it was started as a courtesy then why is it so rampart this days especially in lagos. it doesnt hapen like this in other mega cities in the world |
i sometimes wonder why uniform men tend to claim staff in buses especially in Lagos is it a legal permission or just a deliberate intimidation? |
LCASHMAN: oH REALX? HAVE U MET ME? Punkwho you i am the greatest |
that wasnt oil it was perfume. And it was a preparation for the death of christ, there was no account of Jesus christ using oil as a form healing or anointing. What jesus did was teach his disciples how to pray and also faith |
@man the point we are tryin to highlight is simply that the oil isnt the healer it is the faith that heals. Christ never had any association with oil did He? |
i agree with you totally. But what is in practise today is far beyond what you are saying. Anointing oil is an integral aspect of modern xtainity. Churches even hold special anointing services where oil is blessed by the presiding pastor or oversea. Does this suggest something wrong? |
t Goshen360: When you don't understand the purpose and reasons for the symbols.....you will misplace it for the substance.i agree with you to some extent but so many denominations today see the olive oil(anointing oil) as a sacred and healing tool. In the bible only one oil was referred to as sacred in the old testament and there was strict warning for no one to make any oil of such nature in the future failure to heed would warrant the wrath of God. |
so in other words you are saying anointing oil is being misrepresented in this modern day |
A quick scan through the shelve of many people will easily reveal the presence of a sacred oil acquired from church. It has been reported to save many lives by application but the ultimate truth is does the bible support this modern day usage of annointing oil? |
From nursery all the way up to tertiary private schools are fast becoming the order of the day. Parents seek these schools becuase the public schools are seemingly ineffective. But there comes a problem a rather malignant problem. The private schools are profit oriented and at times standard is not a priority rather they focus on result that will attract more students/customers. Almost all private nursey/primary/secondary school have increased their school fees by certain percentages. This bring more burden on parents. In a country where regulation is the hardest virtue i fear that on the long run this private school will limit the level of literacy in nigeria to the rich if and only if our government can become more responsible. |
i am not referring to the holy spirit guys am referring to ghosts as in spirit of the dead. |
my original post says it all. I havent had any but many claim to have had some encounters. Hence i want to hear peoples stories and draw a constructive conclusion |
i follow your school of thought but if you want to make concrete point you have to see both side of the story. |
many have claimed to have seen in another town, spirits of people that died in one town. In my quest to decipher mysteries of the world i havent met any ghosts yet nor have i yet met anyone close who can confirm but my mind is open to opinions pls share your true life experiences. |
as a tradition the 20 epl teams lock horns to stay on top but with time the good is naturally seperated from the fair. The season is beggining to take shape and teams are defining their style money has been invested so result is a must. Coaches bear the full grunt of it all. So who will be the first to face the exit door. To me i sense it will be AVB or Dimatteo. Whats your take ? |
It is a popular notion that someone from a particular part of the country potrays certain characters or has some unique behavioural traits. For instance, it is a widely believed that yorubas are lousy, igbos are money conscious, hausas are harsh, calaba girls are sexy, uhrobo na wayo, edo girls are hustlers e.t.c. The list goes on and on but the bottom line is; are this characters tribally instilled by default or is it a just a coincidence. The fact is that many yorubas are not lousy, many hausas are very friendly, many igbos are actually easy on money. What is your opinion nairalanders |
based on positional need jordi alba was a great buy for barca |
as this years transfer market draws to a close today, it is imperative that we recap all the transfers that went down and highlight the ones that cut through for us. For me it is hazard to chelsea and jodi alba to barca. Which player transfer cuts it for u. |

Sequel to the completion of his medical victor moses has been confirmed a chelsea player. He wouldnt be able to feature this week but should be eligible for the super cup on friday. The big question then is will he find much playing time in chelsea with so much attacking players already. Torres, mata, sturridge, hazard, marin, paizon and d veteran malouda. Will moses rise to the occasion and is this the right time to move? the next couple of months will answer these questions. |
Nigerian music industry has experienced an exponential growth in the last ten years. So high is the growth that foriegn music labels are bickering just to get these exciting artist into their prestigous labels. That being said there is a viral fear spreading drastically in the industry. Lack of quality lyrics. This is not a forum for critism but for adjustment. In as much as hit songs are spreading they lack qualitu lyrics. Scroll through nigerian top ten charts and you'll be amaze the amount of lack in their lyrics. Apart from very few like M.I, Asa, some 2face songs psquare, the rest of the talented musicians dont dig in deep to bring out quality lyrics. I think it is time to seek services of song writers so as to save these industry from implosion. |
No doubt you are right about the level of education in nigeria but where you and your freind went wrong is in basing your requirements on level of degree. There are so many with lower level of degree but the ability to deliver. Having said that, it is imperative that you consider the salary factor also. Many private company wants to employ 1st class holders and pay peanuts. Well lets say you reap what you sow. |
