OBAGADAFFI: Yes, Paul got formal education in Jewish laws and practice( Religion).
Note : Paul (Saul) was chosen by the Priest to persecute Christians due to his knowledge. You still don't get it. Did he get a PhD in Theology for him to be qualified to preach the gospel or do God's work? Please refer to my initial post for you to understand my point very well. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo And Daddy Freeze Exchange Words Over Tithing by slegerman(m): 9:15pm On Dec 01, 2017 |
OBAGADAFFI: I can't look past this comment.
Paul is highly Educated, same a Luke.
Everything Epistle in the New testament is always referenced to the old testament. You are missing the point here. Education here means formal classroom teaching leading to PhD in Theology that most pastors have. |
Politics › Re: Tell Nigerians The Truth About Chibok Girls Abduction - GEJ Replies Shettima by slegerman(m): 8:40pm On Dec 01, 2017 |
You all are missing a very vital point. The total fault lies with Jonathan because when he declared state of emergency in those states affected by Boko Haram, he ought to have removed the state governors just like Obasanjo did with Ekiti and Plateau states during his time. If Jonathan had done this, all these replies from his camp wouldn't have been needed.
Uncle Jona, take full responsibility of your action(s).
One thing that is very true about what Shettima said is, Jona surrounded himself with incompetent religious bigots |

ericsmith: when I said "academically" ... i was referring to we the elites,,who will always want to use educational knowledge to explain God ,, I meant what moral or academic grounds did freeze or evenyou,,have to think you can decipher God ways as against chosen men of God.. even if my the pastor is Yahoo,,leave is church,,find anoda church or stay in your house ,,who cares !! no be by force .. judging men of God is like inviting God's wrath,,he warned against it .. he even emphasised judge no one ..so?? Honestly I don't understand what you have written, but good luck to you on anything you believe and hopefully, it work for you. |

ericsmith: wow !! paying offering and tithe is now wrong ... by the way who is you or freeze wateva to tell us or sensitize us on what is right n wrong in the bible. .. who are you?? ,,what do you know ? academically freeze no get some of these pastors resume. can a mechanic read medical textbooks nd challenge a doctor to a practical test .. someone like yu Wil definitely stand with d mechanic . I don't want to get myself involve in this but I can't look pass this statement - "academically freeze no get some of these pastors resume." You are wrong on this. The early Christians never attended any school to learn how to preach or do God's work. They were directed by the holy spirit. So, a pastor who holds a PhD in theology is no different from a student who went to school to get MBA to better his chances of getting a good paid employment and making it in life. One can easily said that such pastors were not called by God. |

Sach: My balance is 20k on Friday and becomes 22k on Monday at a rate of 1kper day, covering the weekend, but nothing is credited for Monday. How does the crediting work please? It appears a day is being skipped.... If I get you right, you are saying you have 20k on your mutual fund account on Friday and on Monday it increases to 22k? If this is what you are saying, then your calculation is wrong. you cannot earn an interest of 1k daily on your mutual fund with that amount. |

ernie4life: Negotiating rates on mutual funds is not possible because of the way it's structured if you like bring 1billion, how ever the financial house could give you a good rate in terns of fixing the funds and invest it in whatever way they deem fit, but to get a good rate better than what mutual funds are offering is determined by volume of amount and the tenure/time You are right. I mixed it up with fixed deposit |

Investnow2017: How large a fund to strike a private negotiation? I can't really say because it varies from one financial institution to another depending on how badly they need your business. But I believe if you have about N50 million, you can have some bargaining power. Most times, the higher the amount involved, the more your bargaining power and of course, the better the rate you might get. |

Investnow2017: Stanbic Money Market Fund now reinvest your accrued interest earned, and the resulting earnings are added to your original principal to form a new principal. The idea is to enable their clients to maximize their earnings and to allow for more transparency in the management of the Fund. Sounds great, except that they ought to have communicated with their clients before implementing. I spoke at length with them and I can feel their seriousness. Enjoy the enhanced earning model. . At what frequency is one earnings added to the original principal? Someone on this thread said daily, Is that correct,? Going by the discussion you had with their rep. |
