Just a head up peeps, I think some people have cloned Stanbic site. Look at the first result from the Google search attached. Please be careful before you input your details. Always cross check very well. Or am I been unnecessarily paranoid?

rationalmind:I think the issue with stanbic is too much customers... Honestly, it is time I move too |
I don't usually visit this section but the title of this thread caught my attention and I have taken my time to read all comments. These just confirmed my long held perception about some folks who regularly visit here - childish and lacking empathy. The Op summoned courage to post this and what you all have to contribute is to make fun of her and ask silly questions. This is not right. Like she said, you can meet your spouse here and of course, anywhere. If you are not interested and don't know who might be, you can as well show maturity by not commenting and allow those who are, to interact with her. |
This is not possible. You cannot withdraw that amount from an ATM. |
I am very surprise with the kind of comments am seeing here. Truly, we are living in a crazy world. |
Tunderr:Thank you for your advise. I have been on demo for almost a year now and I think am doing good. My first involvement in forex was in 2005, if my memory serves me well, with Northfinance now fxpro. I won't want to repeat the mistake I made that time. |
wamiikechukwu:Thank you boss, will check them out |
teejaysmarty1:Thank you boss. Will check them out |
Hello Bosses in the house, Can you recommend any good ECN/STP broker based on your experiences. I intend starting with $2,000 or more but definitely less than $5,000 I have search reviews online and I can't make up my mind. |
nosa2:It seems it only you and I are interested. |
DocHMD:Please re-read what I typed. I point out the flaws of the Igbo people and their good attributes. I went ahead to say that every tribe is foolish. It simply means that every tribe have people who are selfish and only sees things from their point of view. And remember, that for the fact that one or two people have behave badly doesn't mean that every member of a particular tribe is foolish. The energy you spent on insulting could have served you well if only you calm down to read and comprehend. Good luck with the way you reason. |
No one loves the Igbo including themselves. An average Igbo man is self centered and always thinking only of self. Examples, an Igbo man will sell fake drugs to you which may eventually kill you because he wants to make more money by all means. An Igbo man does not care if the whole world would perish as long as he is comfortable. Imagine people using their loved ones for rituals because of money. If you bank on an Igbo man, have a plan B, he is likely to disappoint you. If you doubt, ask Goodluck Jonathan. During the election, while the Hausas are taking leaves from places of work including gatemen, to go to their villages for their PVCs, our Igbo brothers were busy running their shops and shouting "Jona has entered." If you are an Igbo, and don't exhibit these traits, you are part of the few special breeds and God will continue to be with you. Even with all these and more, I still love the igbos for their bravery, daring, and enterprising spirit. No tribe in Nigeria has these attributes. Every tribe in Nigeria is foolish and selfish but today we are discussing the igbos, so the reasons for this. Note I have lived in all regions of this country and abroad, speaks multiple languages, so I know what am saying. |
Good day All, I have been wanting to get into the agric business. As a fact, am still looking for suitable farmland on leasehold, but this thought just crossed my mind. I am looking at the possibility of pooling funds together with not more than 5 interested and dedicated persons to undertake an agric project, so we could enjoy the economy of scale. These persons must reside in Abuja. I am looking at the possibility of we doing 100 hectares or more, subject to approval from other members. If you are interested, please comment here or what do you think, guys?. I am equally open for inputs from people here. What project we will do will be determined by all involved after considering our available resources. It is a thought, it may be or may not. |
Am not a supporter of any politician or political party but is this not the same APC that smear Goodluck Jonathan for budgeting N1b on food? They went as far as printing flyers and using that for compaigns. Now they are in power and they see nothing wrong in spending such amount on maintaining the state house when one of their campaign promises is prudent management of resources. My only worry is for those that thinks this administration will transform Nigeria. Honestly, from the look of things, the opposite seems glaring. |
Hello People, Still searching for farmland. If you have or knows who has, please comment if possible with your phone number and I will get back to you. Thanks. |
suleimansanusi1:I don't have any particular area in mind but I will like places that are: - Relatively cheap - Easily accessible and not far from the nearest expressway. - Availability of Irrigation - Not too far from from Abuja |
I still need the land. |
bixton:You didn't drop your number bro. |
Hello All, I am looking to rent farmland up to 10 hectares within the above locations. if you have or you know who has, please comment. Regards. |
Unfortunataly, this is the kind of news that we will keep hearing as long as we have a Buhari as the president, so Nigerians should brace up. He has no regards for human lives and security and worst still, he has no solutions for Nigeria problems. First it was herdsmen, now it is kidnapping creeping up again and NDA is threatening. Their reply will be. " Kidnapping did not start with this administration. As a fact, there was 5*** kidnapping cases during the last administration. So Jonathan have hands in the security challenges we are currently facing." |
And you call this one a governor. |
1000000% Legit |
It is no longer Boko Haram. It is now killer herdsmen. Nigeria is a country where only bad news persists, helped majorly by the cluelessness of those who govern the nation. Will we ever get to hear good news? Will things ever improve or show signs of improvement? These are questions that fill my mind every day. I am beginning to side with my friend that says " anytime we get to hear good news consistently for two weeks in Nigeria, we all should get prepare the world is ending soon." |
AmTruth:All I see from what you have written are assumptions and a layman analysis. It seems to me you are not in tune with realities and modern ways of things. Let me address those assumptions. 1) The industries that added most US jobs, for example, in Dec, 2017 are healthcare (31.4k), construction (30k), restaurants & bars (25.1k) and manufacturing(25k). You can see that the only sector that uses automation among them all is manufacturing and still, it added 25,000 jobs in Dec, 2017, which I bet you is much more than the number of jobs added by Nigerian manufacturing sector throughout 2017 with all her "manual technology". That is if that sector added any job at all. So US economy is not mainly driven by technology (automation and machines) as you think. There are many factors which drive an economy and one of such factors is good government policies. US economy enjoys a cutting edge in technology and this is required for the US econmony to remain competitive. 2) There is no big farm anywhere in the world, Nigeria inclusive, that will employ manual labour of up to 400 workers. It doesn't make economic sense. If you own a large farm, you must mechanize. Or are you trying to tell me that Nigerian economy generates more jobs than that of the biggest economy in the world? Finally, please don't ever try to counter an argument with what you have written up here, it is lame and it further exposes you just like the minister and government you are trying to defend. |
nkowaputa:Does vote counts in Nigeria? Would you expect someone you made the INEC chairman to work against you. Remember you would never appoint someone who is not loyal to your cause to this kind of position. Please don't point to Jonathan and Jega, to disprove me, we all knew what happened. |
nkowaputa:These words are mild compared to what people are going through daily because of the incompetency of these few imbeciles. |
I think he is talking to the North, not the whole of Nigeria - They are very gullible there. The biggest economy in the world, US, created 2m jobs in 2017, how come Nigeria with weak institutions, unwise president and group of lazy ministers and aids created 7m jobs? |
Christmas was not celebrated by the early Christians neither did Jesus commanded us to celebrate His birth. The same way, Sunday was not recorded in the bible as a day of rest or worship to God neither did the early Christians worship on Sunday prior to the Roman rule. The Bible is the constitution of the Christians, anything that is not contained in it should not be practiced, so I wonder where Christians get most of these things they are practising. For the fact that majority are doing it does not make it the right thing. |
motikorede:I have read all your comments on this issue and I think you are guided by empathy towards the Palestinians due to religious sentiment. The only part of Jerusalem that is disputed is the East Jerusalem. West Jerusalem have the official residence of the Isreali PM, the National Assembly complex and the supreme court, so, obviously it is the capital of Isreal. Tel Aviv is Isreal's economic centre and has never been her capital. The East Jerusalem ( which is not more than one fourth of Jerusalem) which have the old city, is important to all religions that believe in God because of the following: It contains the site believed to be where King Solomon built the first temple. It contains the third most important mosque in Islam believed to be where the Prophet Mohammed ascended to heaven during the night journey. If you research history very well, you will agree that Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital for decades stretching back to the time of king David. Now ask yourself, why are Muslims interested in Jerusalem? It is simply because of the Alqsa mosque. The Muslims believe if the world support Israel on this, Israel will destroy the mosque to build the temple.(Note that currently the disputed East Jerusalem is under Israeli rule, albeit, "occupied", and the UN does not recognize the state of Palestine) Currently, Palestinians are scattered in West Bank and the Gaza strip with different supposing governments. So, I think the first thing the Palestinians need to do is to have a common agenda and unity before challenging the status of Jerusalem. What the US have done is just exercising her right to site her embassy where she deems ok. This shouldn't be problem because obviously the Embassy will be located in West Jerusalem. Am not supporting any party on this claim, but from history Israel has higher claim to the city than the Palestinians. In the interest of peace, I think both parties need to dialogue and reach a compromise for the general good of all involved. |
ba7man:And you think all the passengers came to live in Lagos permanently? I know people enter Lagos daily, it could be more or less than that figure, but for govt official to come out and quote an arbitrary figure, that's the problem. |
imhotep:Ok ooo. But tell them make them dey lie small small |
How did he come about that figure? Typical Nigerian i guessed. They come out and quote figures that even a mad man can decipher that they are lying. If 87 persons enter Lagos hourly, do you know how many will be in Lagos in a year. |
that was harsh men!
