Mynd44:This report by dailytrust is them just being sly. Peter Obi himself never made those statement. Read the full article and you'd see that he was represented by Yunusa Tanko, the National coordinator of the Obedient movement, who made the chat on Obi's behalf. I repeat, Obi by himself has never made any statement about zoning presidency to the south or southeast. He doesn't care about that. He believes that he's the most competent among the current crop of presidential aspirants, and he has his plan of convincing delegates and Nigerians to vote for him.

Mynd44:The attached image/headline says nothing. If you read the actual article, you'd see that the statement wasn't made by Obi himself. Probably an aide. Quote me with the actual statement made. |
I'm of the opinion that if Peter Obi contests the ADC primaries, and the delegates are screened transparently, he would come out victorious. Now, Peter Obi's biggest political advantage has always been that people underrate him, but every time, he always comes up with a surprise and surmount almost every roadblock set in his way. Last time, in the PDP, the people who know him closely in Anambra made sure that Obi never made it to the PDP primaries because they knew that if he made it to the primaries, his chances of winning was very high. That is why Obi never talked about PDP zoning their ticket to the South or the South east for that matter. In fact, he never supported zoning in the PDP. Here's what his ex-aide said about him in a recent article: "I spoke to Omoba, Doyin Okupe, and said let us do southern campaign president. If it does not work, history will remember what we have done. I am grateful to Okupe for agreeing and we started asking candidates. Peter Obi never agreed." https://www.nairaland.com/8482962/2027-peter-obi-tricked-into And when the presidential ticket was open for all regions to contest, he never argued or made noise about it. He simply bought his presidential form and went to work. The Anambra PDP caucus who knew Obi's political sagacity had to scheme him out by botching the delegate selection process and swapping the delegate list with fake names brought in by their allies. And that was the main reason why Obi left the PDP. Peter Obi has never been against contesting against other political heavyweights in a transparent primary even if monetized. He knows his onions, he knows his politics, he knows his money and he's willing to test it in the field. Now in the ADC, Peter Obi is holding his cards close to his chest. His game towards 2027 has already begun in earnest. But many are still sleeping on him. That is why in all his interviews, Obi has never talked about zoning the ADC presidential ticket to the South or Southeast. He doesn't care about that. All he has done is announce his interest in contesting the Presidential elections, and he knows that the game has already begun. Even in the north, his allies have already started working for him. In a recent article, ex-SGF, Babachir Lawal, who is a strong ally of Atiku has already noticed some political plays going on within the Adamawa ADC, and has raised an alarm. https://www.nairaland.com/8483183/ex-sgf-babachir-slams-adamawa-adc Peter Obi is quietly going about putting his game plan to work and it's only a matter of time before we see what he's cooking towards the presidential ticket in 2027. Underrate him at your own peril.

Non-state actors can't have power more than state actors. No matter how good you are and how honest your intentions, you can't do or achieve anything if the powers that be are against you. The only way to effect change in an evil world is to first assume power. No matter the means or the measure. Assume power by all means, then let your good intentions be done. |
I've always wanted Liverpool to buy him. He's good with both feet and can score with the head also. My point is that his potential has a high ceiling. If you analyze his trajectory since the last 5 years, he has been improving and getting better year after year. If he continues to improve and develop at this pace, he would be a monster for Liverpool. |
His death is probably not related with his fraudulent exploits. But it reminds us all of the vanity that material possession is, especially one accumulated via greed and making others go through pain. |
obembet:Liverpool or Chelsea. I'm tipping either of them to win the league |
What do we call this? Is it tribalism or sub-tribalism? |
Nigeria is one of the worst places in the world to be patriotic. You'll either be used, hated or ridiculed. |
That is why it is risky to let a woman sleep over at your place. If she is not your wife or sister or cousin, allow her to go home. |
The question is, What value does he bring to the party? It is not about jumping from one party to the other, but what he can bring to build the party and contribute positively to the society. Unfortunately, Nigerian politics is played backwards. |
They need to hire more think-tanks to generate ideas for the government. Enough of hiring career politicians for executive positions in government. |
tanigororo:That's exactly how it should be. Fixed deposit is best for medium to long-term savings for capital projects. |
tanigororo:Hope you're taking your profits? Because this price surge might just be temporary. |

Ofunaofu:Only Peter Obi knows, and can make that decision for himself. |
Ddeliverer007:A good number of obidients myself included, will vote for Atiku if he chooses Obi as his vice. The coalition can further appease disgruntled obidients like you if Atiku makes a pact or proposal that gives Peter Obi a reasonable amount of power and control in the government. All in all, both sides will have to make some sacrifices for the coalition plan to come to fruition. |
Ddeliverer007:So, why the threats by some Obidients and Atiku supporters. They should allow the coalition to thrive, allow the primaries to take place and support whoever emerges as the ADC presidential candidate. Atiku + Obi is the best pathway Obi + A Strong Northerner (with Atiku's structure) is a good alternative. |
AMINDA:You are very correct. The onus is now on Peter Obi to take a stand. Either way, he's going to disappoint a few. But he needs to make a decision that gives him the best chance of securing his political future. |
Ddeliverer007:I won't vote at all. I will vote for Obi only if he is backed by the coalition either as President or V.P. That's the only time he stands a chance. |
I have come to the realization that we obidients are delusional. I believe that the way Nigeria is structured and how powerful the ruling party is today, it will be impossible for Peter Obi to win an election without the backing of powerful men in Nigerian politics. As it is, the incumbent and his cronies are bent on using every resource and power to break the will of the opposition and the Nigerian people. One man alone cannot wrestle back power from these kinds of people even with the backing of the Nigerian masses. The Nigerian masses are powerless! The way Nigeria is today, the citizens CANNOT even elect their choice of candidate for the presidency. The citizens cannot influence the elections no matter how much noise they make. Even we the obidients cannot effect any meaningful change no matter how much we try. You can only effect change in Nigerian politics as an insider, not from the outside. Even with the proposed electoral reforms, if Peter Obi contests against Bola Tinubu 100 times, he won't win a single time. He would effectively be rigged out 100% of the time, unless he partners with other savvy politicians who are aware of the devices and strategies of the incumbent. Due to this, if Peter Obi decides to run for presidency in 2027 WITHOUT THE BACKING OF THE COALITION, I will NOT vote for him. It would be a waste of time. Obi has only 2 choices to defeat Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election: - Convince the coalition movement to back him unequivocally as the Presidential candidate of ADC - Accept the Vice Presidential slot and run with Atiku Abubakar and then get his chance after 8 years. If Peter Obi makes the mistake of running on a separate platform again in 2027, then the whole activities of the obidient movement would just be a waste of time. I drop my pen. |
The Pi Network has launched its App Studio, an AI-powered tool for app creators and content creators on its network to start creating utility for products and services. The launch was announced on June 28, which is recognized as the Pi2Day, a popular date for Pioneers which signifies 2π and is usually celebrated with announcements of new features and products on the network. Now, anyone on the Pi Network can create apps, games, and websites to share content, and sell products and services. This could be an avenue to create immense utility for the Pi Coin, and to grow the economy within the Pi Network ecosystem. How the Pi App Studio work The Pi App Studio was created with one goal: "to empower everyday people to create, own, and operate apps without a technical background" using AI tools. With the Pi App Studio, users have the option of creating 3 different categories of apps via the App Studio menu on the Pi browser: Games Users can create simple games by instructing the AI-powered engine through prompts. A clear text description of what the game does and other requires features would prompt the AI tool to create the game app, which can be published for a small fee of 0.25pi. Games can also be updated with new features and republished for the same token of 0.25pi. Chatbot Users can create a chatbot app in their area of expertise via a text prompt to the AI creator. Creators would have to populate the chatbot creator with contents to train the AI model on the responses it would provide when prompted by users. After creation, the chatbot can be published for the same fee of 0.25pi. Custom App If you have a novel idea for an app, then this is your chance to create it even without having the required technical background. You could simply write a description of your app and what the app does, and the AI app creator would create the app for you. Cool right? Now, nothing stops you from creating that your app idea right from your mobile phone. All it will cost you is 0.25pi. https://www.moneyboom.com.ng/pi-network-launches-app-studio/ ... |
Gmone:These 3 things are admirable in a woman: - A woman that is young - A woman that gives - A woman that is respectful Look for the one that has most of these 3 qualities. As for being a virgin, virginity is not a permanent trait. So, ask yourself, after you marry and disvirgin her, what else remains? That is her real quality. |
Here's how I think the ADC primaries could play out towards the 2027 presidential elections. 1. Every move we are seeing today by the ADC was already pre-planned months ago. Several wide-scale consultations and secret meetings have taken place between leaders and enablers of the party. 2. The inner caucus of the party, including top aspirants already have an agreed plan, and they already know who the presidential candidate of the party will be. 3. The plan now is to take deliberate steps in playing to the gallery so as to appease the camps of either Atiku supporters or Peter Obi supporters in case things don't go as they want and their principal doesn't emerge. 4. Many supporters of Peter Obi have vowed to boycott the ADC if their candidate doesn't become the party's flag bearer. 5. Likewise, many supporters of Atiku Abubakar have vowed to boycott the ADC if their candidate doesn't emerge. So, how does the party appease these opposing groups? Here's how I think it could play out: 1. The ADC primaries would be keenly contested between Atiku, Obi, El-rufai, Amaechi, and Kwankwaso (if he joins the coalition). 2. At the contest, the umpire, after counting the ballot will reveal that there is a draw between two candidates: Atiku and Obi. 3. The umpire will then attempt to conduct a re-run between the 2 top contestant. 4. However, there will be a simulated discussion between the camps of Atiku and Obi towards political concessions. 5. While the umpire pretends to be preparing for the re-contest, an announcement would be made that both camps of Atiku and Obi have come to an agreement and would relinquish the re-run exercise. 6. Both Atiku and Obi would then walk to the podium all smiles, and attempt a signature handshake, which symbolizes the logo of the ADC party. 7. Both parties will then vow to work together and delegate powers in a fair share deal/agreement if they emerge victorious at the polls. 8. Finally, the supporters of Atiku and Obi are appeased and agrees to work together with a common goal. End of.

Kastonkastroll:It signifies a handshake across the Niger. A handshake of unequivocal unity against forces oppressing Nigerians!

who are they shaking hands with? Because I know nigerian politicians only know how to shake corruption
