Footage on social media shows a police helicopter circling over the city before shots and a loud bang are heard.
The police officer said to have piloted the stolen aircraft issued a statement denouncing the "criminal government". His whereabouts are unknown.
It comes after mass protests against the political and economic crisis.
The Supreme Court is regularly criticised by the Venezuelan opposition for its rulings which bolster Mr Maduro's hold on power. In an address from the presidential palace, President Maduro said the helicopter had flown over the Supreme Court and also the justice and interior ministries.
Officials quoted by Reuters news agency said four grenades were dropped on the court and 15 shots had been fired at the interior ministry. A police officer identified himself as Oscar Pérez in video statements posted on the social media platform Instagram.
Appearing in military fatigues and flanked by armed, masked men in uniform, he appealed to Venezuelans to oppose "tyranny". His speech read,

"We are a coalition of military employees, policemen and civilians who are looking for balance and are against this criminal government," he said.
"We don't belong to any political tendency or party. We are nationalists, patriots and institutionalists."
He said the "fight" was not against the security forces but "against the impunity of this government. It is against tyranny".
It is not clear how much support, if any, the officer has.

In all honesty my dilemma is I'm not sure if he's really broke. After I told him he would have to at least show that he can take care of half of the bill He said if I help him with $1000 for the visa he can sell the land he said he bought and spent most of his money on before he lost his job to pay for the remaining $1000. He also said his cousin and cousins fiancee could probably help me with the remaining $1000 when the cousin comes over to the U.S.

Nigerians are always full of hate and never give one a benefit of doubt, we all know how strict these agencies can be , especially when the only reason the guy would give them is that he is processing his visa so he can travel and meet the woman he wants to marry having met her online. Trust me these agency officials will ask for all sort of bribe from the guy , leaving the poor dude helpless. It would be better the OP (Redgal) visits the guy but use Ghana as a meeting place. Ghana is very safe though. This finale was weak though but overall okay.. I know for a certain that if this show would end in season 5 it most definitely will be a tragic crappy one..

This just means in a fight with Klaus he can easily compel him with the help of a witch, giving that with magic, Julie plec can do every nonsense she feels like in this show.. No longer the other way round? ... Am I the only one feeling the shortage of people in this show? It is slowly turning into THE VAMPIRE'S DIARY.. It wasn't as full as season 1 to 3 was.. everyone is either gone or dead.. Remember how fun this show was when we left TVD and started watching it initially, it really was all about vampires, witches Werewolves and the Original family, the seasons were all really interesting and all had very interesting villains with a great story, reason for there vengeance and great Characters portraying them.. Now look at this season and see how whack the storyline is, what does the Hollow really want? Who are her enemies? What is the great story to her reason for being bad? She is more of a TVD villain just parachuted into the show without any major storyline while trying so hard to make us believe she is the strongest witch the world ever knew.. for the strongest witch the World ever knew it was pretty easy bringing her down with dark objects .. To me the strongest witch will and always will be Dahlia, Dahlia wasn't taken down, Dahlia didn't need henchmen, Dahlia didn't need worshippers, she lost because of Love, love for her sister and forgave her while Dying in a peaceful manner.. Not this weak crazy teenager with no plan or idea of what she really wants called the HOLLOW...Wouldn't it have been much better if Elijah had himself daggerd to sleep than this rubbish Compeling plot??.. really makes it sad knowing this was written to be the end of the originals because they didn't know they were gonna be renewed.. what type of Ending it would have been.. Don't be fooled by Kol's appearance, Freya will still become a vampire, no way that Chekov blood drinking does not come into play.
