White people built and left Africa’s most developed nation. Black folks that took over can’t even maintain it 😕

What are Black people even capable of building on their own (let alone sustain)? 🙃

Business › Re: ABCON President Confirms That Chinese Traders Accept Naira Over Dollars by Slippy: 3:51pm On Sep 12, 2025
Not exactly an achievement.

Chinese traders are aggressive marketers, and the tough competition at home has pushed them to seek out more foreign customers.

If they can do business in countries with worse currencies like Iran and Venezuela then Nigeria is no challenge.

As long as you’re running large trade deficits with them, they’ll happily take whatever you’ve got.
Christianity Etc › Re: Evangelist Testifies Success In Hosting Christian Crusade To Convert Terrorists by Slippy: 2:51pm On Sep 12, 2025
The only method I trust to change Islamists and jihadists is a new life in Christ.

No ‘rehabilitation’ or ‘deradicalization’ will ever work.

The ideology was founded and is sustained by shedding blood, and only the blood that truly redeems can change them.

Politics › Re: Ned Nwoko Urges Igbos To Embrace Their Brothers In The South-South, Kogi, Benue by Slippy:
Funny enough, there cannot be an Igbo history without the Anioma kingdoms.

Some of the most powerful and influential kingdoms in Igboland were rooted in that region.

In fact, European explorers - who often classified peoples into “tribes” by grouping kingdoms and cities with shared culture and traditions - at one point referred to Obi Ossai of Aboh as the King of Igbos.

It's really surprising today to see some Delta Igbos distance themselves from this shared history.

I felts so sad hearing the news. Never thought i had this much admiration for him.

Charlie spoke with courage. He defended Western values and stood strong against Islamism. His voice inspired many, and his message will definitely live on.

RIP Charlie

Clear case of money laundering and ethnic favoritism.

only the hausa/fulani and yorubas understand the true nature of Nigeria.......hence the nepotism and tribalism from them

meanwhile the southeast and south south-south are still picturing Nigeria as a future first-world nation

In Saint Lucia, opposition parties and commentators scrutinized the cost of the visit, temporary airport closures, and the nature of any resulting bilateral agreements.
The St Lucia PM was clearly responding to critics in his country.

but as usual APC propagandists will spin it to target anyone in Nigeria who is not singing Tinubu's praise

She has every right to renounce Nigeria.

Not everybody wants to do PR for a failed country.

Yorubas should be grateful she hasn't renounced them too (given how they support evil in the country)

Exactly so little wonder why APC left their biggest treat to be attacking common Obi and ADC .. U get?
PDP is the real opposition especially if they zone their ticket to south
Why must ADC zone it to South? If it was ok for APC to run a northerner against a southern president in 2015 why can't ADC do so?

PDP and Bode George should be more concerned with why Obi enjoys so much support and apply themselves accordingly.

Politics › BBC: Could Nigeria's Careful Ethnic Balancing Act Be Under Threat? by Slippy(op): 2:13am On May 27, 2025
Criticism is growing after several top positions go to members of the president's ethnic Yoruba group

https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/800/cpsprodpb/4b9f/live/453a6b60-34ca-11f0-8ca3-49a2defac508.jpg

In Nigerian politics, there has long been an informal understanding: presidential appointments should carefully balance the country's many ethnic and religious differences. Today, there are growing concerns that this is being ignored.

While the constitution requires regional representation in cabinet positions, the broader distribution of other prominent roles has traditionally followed a convention aimed at fostering national cohesion.

Nigeria's fractious divisions have in the past torn the country – Africa's most populous – apart.

Concerns about fairness in presidential appointments are not new, but a chorus of criticism is growing over President Bola Tinubu's picks, with some accusing the head of state – who has been in power for two years – of favouring people from his own Yoruba ethnic group.

The presidency vehemently denies the accusation.

There have long been fears that members of one ethnic group would come to dominate key positions – and this means that presidential appointments are closely scrutinised whenever they are announced.

There are over 250 ethnic groups in the country with Hausa-Fulanis, Igbo and Yoruba – hailing from the north, south-east and south-west respectively - being the three largest.

Critics say that Tinubu, a southern Muslim, showed signs of ignoring precedent from the onset when he picked another Muslim (although from the north) to be his running mate for the last election.

Since the return of democracy in 1999, the major parties had always put forward a mixed Muslim-Christian ticket, as the country is roughly evenly divided between followers of the two religions.

Tinubu's appointments since becoming president in May 2023 are facing growing cricisim.

Nigeria truly cannot get the full benefit of remittances if the trend continues.

As regards to Authentication at MOE&MOFA, the standard practice there, you will submit all the original documents you want to authenticate with the photopies, educational stick will be put on the back of your original documents only and they will sign on each of your photopies with pen, then you proceed to foreign Affairs, there your originals and photopies will be signed. The reason been that when you go to embassy for legalization, some embassy/individuals may request/prefer the legalization on the original certificate, why other embassy/individuals will want it to be on the photopies, but on those sign with pen from MOE. ONLY educational documents are taken to MOE, why other goes to foreign affairs ie marriage certificate, birth certificate
I think in your own case, affter authentication will scan the original certificate front and back, showing the educational sticker at the back of the documents and send to them.
This whole process...can I have someone in Abuja do it for me...or it has to be me?

I really dont know what people get by chasing shadows.

Tinubu knows what he is doing by deliberating fighting to stop release of said documents. He just stalling for time and hoping y'all would waste your energy on it and miss key details of his other shortcomings.
