[quote author=gcfr.com]Ever heard of snapchat?[/quote

with snapchat you can still take picture of the phone with another camera or phone and still save the image.

You can also disable the screenshot notification function through a
modification of the binary. Even with an emulator you can bypass all restrictions.

So my brother, to be at the safe side, don't sext.

Romance / Why Is Sexting Dangerous? by sloo1: 11:08am On Nov 21, 2013
What is sexting?

Sexting is the act of sending sexually explicit messages, videos or photos electronically, primarily between mobile phones.

Why do people do it?

People sext to show off, to entice someone, to show interest in someone, or to prove commitment.

Other reasons people sext include the following:

To flirt with someone they hope to be in a relationship with.

Because someone has already sent them an explicit photo and they feel pressured to ‘return the favor.’

Why is sexting dangerous?

1. Once a photo is sent, you lose control of that image, and it is impossible to take it back.

2. Once sent you can not control how it might be used - The person receiving it can forward the image, copy it, post it online, or share it with anyone.

3. The probability that, at least, one other person will see the image is very high.

4. Sometimes a man will mass forward an explicit photo of a woman either to entertain his friends or to retaliate after a breakup.

5. In addition to the emotional damage that can come from having a sexual image of you shared with your entire school or community, there is damage to your reputation.

6. There are also serious legal consequences. Sharing sexual or naked photos of minors (people below 18yrs), even minors sharing with other minors, is illegal. It can led to prosecution for child pornography.

A young man confessed of being in possession of nude pictures of over 20 women, some married. He got all through sexting.

What can you do?

1. Don’t ask people for sexual pictures, and if asked, don’t provide them.

2.Block communication with friends who send sexting messages.

3.Take care of your friends. If you know your friends are sending or receiving sexually explicit photos or messages, tell them to stop. Let them know that there are dangerous consequences and that it’s just not worth it.

What do you think?

I reason with people from any religion, Iv read the Koran and I have read through the bible many times.
I expect you@ pastor olu T (who claimed to be a pastor) and the @op (who claimed to be a jw ) to know what is recorded at Matthew 5: 11&12, Matthew 10: 22 and John 15:20. - that followers of Jesus will be hated, persecuted and abused. If you are a Christian and your organisation/church is not experiencing hatred and persecution you need to have a rethink.

I doubt if the op is what he claimed ...

Pastor Olu T: 'Why do people hate or dislike poison'

But on a serious note, no true xtian would hate anyone, just the heresies which can kill as a poison.

Health / Re: What Could Cause Smelling Discharge And breast Milk From A Woman by sloo1: 11:39am On Sep 21, 2013
I suggest you tell her to visit her doctor. Her doctor will find out if she is pregnant or not. The colour etc of the milk will also inform the doctor of her true health condition.
Is the milk milky or clear and sticky or bloody or mucus ?

Is the discharge normal or abnormal ? The doctor will tell.
If abnormal could it be; bacterial diagnosis or trichomoniasis or monilia infection etc.? Her doctor will find out.
So, advice her to see her doctor asap.
Family / Re: How Do You Deal With A Child's Tantrum In Public Places? by sloo1: 3:41am On Sep 16, 2013
HOW TO DEAL WITH TANTRUMS

THE CHALLENGE

When he is upset, your two-year-old launches into a fit of screaming, stomping, and thrashing about. You wonder: ‘Is my child normal? Does he throw tantrums because of something I am doing wrong? Will he ever grow out of this?’You can help your two-year-old to change his behavior. First, though, consider what could be contributing to it. *

WHY IT HAPPENS

Small children have limited experience in handling their emotions. That factor alone can lead to an occasional tantrum. But there is more.Think about the change that a child experiences at about age two. From the time that he was born, his parents catered to his every need. If he cried, for example, they came running.‘Is the baby sick? Does he need to be fed? soothed? changed?’ The parents did whatever was needed to make things better. And that was proper because a baby is fully dependent upon his parents. At about age two, however, a child begins to realize that his parents are catering to him less and less. In fact, instead of their serving his needs, they expect him to comply with their wishes. The tables have turned, and a two-year-old may not take well to the change without protest—perhaps in the form of a tantrum. In time, a child usually adjusts to the fact that his parents are his instructors, not just his caretakers. Hopefully, he also comes to see that his role is to “be obedient to [his] parents.” (Colossians 3:20) In the meantime, a child may test every fiber of his parents’ patience with one tantrum after another.

 WHAT YOU CAN DO

Be understanding. Your child is not a miniature adult. Having little experience in dealing with his emotions, he may overreact when he is upset. Try to see the situation through his eyes.—Bible principle: 1 Corinthians 13:11.Stay calm. When your child is having a tantrum, losing your temper will not help. To the extent possible, ignore the tantrum and react matter-of-factly. Remembering why tantrums occur will help you to stay calm.—Bible principle: Proverbs 19:11.Hold your ground. If you give in to whatever it is your child is demanding, he will likely throw another tantrum the next time he wants something. Calmly show your child that you mean what you say.—Bible principle: Matthew 5:37.Remembering why tantrums occur will help you to stay calmBe patient. Do not expect tantrums to disappear overnight, especially if you have given your child reason to believe that his behavior will sway you. If you react properly and consistently, however, the tantrums will likely diminish. Eventually, they will stop altogether. The Bible says: “Love is long-suffering.”—1 Corinthians 13:4.Also, try the following:When the tantrum begins, hold your child in your arms (if possible) and, without hurting him, restrict him from thrashing about. Do not shout at your child. Just wait for the storm to pass. Eventually, the child will realize that the tantrum has got him nowhere.Designate an area where you can put your child when he has a tantrum. Tell him that he may come out when he has calmed down, and then leave him there. If your child has a tantrum in public, remove him from the view of others. Do not give in just because he is making a spectacle. That will only leave your child with the message that by throwing a tantrum, he can get whatever he wants.

KEY SCRIPTURES

“When we were children, we thought and reasoned as children do.”—1 Corinthians 13:11, Contemporary English Version.“The insight of a man certainly slows down his anger.”—Proverbs 19:11.“Let your word Yes mean Yes, your No, No.”—Matthew 5:37.

BE CONSISTENT!

“I chuckle inside whenever I hear a parent complain that a certain child ‘can’t take no for an answer.’ I’m amused because the comment always says more about the parent than it does the child. A child who can’t take no for an answer always has parents who can’t really say it. It’s not that the child can’t take no, it’s that he or she has no reason to believe it.”—John Rosemond, New Parent Power!

Health / What You Should Know About Epilepsy by sloo1: 10:05am On Sep 05, 2013
AN ACQUAINTANCE falls to the ground, unconscious. His body stiffens, and his head and limbs begin to convulse. If you know that the person suffers from epilepsy, you can provide adequate assistance while waiting for help. Let us explore some basic facts about this often misunderstood disorder.

What is epilepsy?

Epilepsy is a brain disorder that produces brief attacks called seizures. The entire seizure usually lasts less than five minutes. The situation described at the outset of this article is typical of what is called a grand mal seizure.

What causes seizures?

Researchers believe that seizures occur when there is an abnormal surge of electrical activity between brain cells. Just why this happens remains unclear.

If I see someone with epilepsy having a grand mal seizure, what should I do?

“Bystanders should let the attack run its course and not interfere with the patient, beyond checking to make sure the person is in no physical danger and can breathe,” says The Encyclopedia of the Brain and Brain Disorders. On the other hand, the book says: “An ambulance should be called if the seizure continues for more than five minutes, if another seizure immediately follows the first, or if the person does not regain consciousness a few minutes after the seizure ends.

”How can I help the patient while he is having a seizure?

Place a soft object between his head and the floor, and move sharp objects away from his head. When the convulsions stop, turn the patient on his side as shown in the accompanying diagram.

What should I do after the patient awakens?

First, assure him that everything is all right. Then help him to stand upright and guide him to a place where he can get needed rest. Most people are confused and sleepy after a seizure; others recover quickly and can continue what they were doing before the attack.

Do all epileptic seizures include convulsions?

No. Some patients experience a moment of impaired awareness without even falling to the ground. This is called a petit mal seizure (or absence seizure), which is usually brief with no lingering aftereffects. Some people with epilepsy undergo prolonged petit mal seizures, lasting several minutes. In such a case, the patient may wander  around the room, tug at his clothing, or otherwise behave strangely. After the seizure, he may feel light-headed.

What is it like to live with epilepsy?

Understandably, many people with epilepsy contend with a nagging fear of when and where the next seizure will occur. To avoid embarrassment, they may tend to avoid social situations.

How can I give support to someone who has epilepsy?

Encourage him not to bottle up his feelings. Be a good listener. Ask him what he would like you to do if he has a seizure. Since many people with epilepsy do not drive, perhaps you could offer a ride or run some errands for him.

Can seizures be reduced—or even prevented?

Some factors increase the likelihood of a seizure, such as stress and lack of sleep. Experts therefore encourage epileptics to get proper rest and to exercise regularly in order to reduce stress. In some cases, medications have also been effective in preventing seizures.

The Recovery Position

After convulsing has stopped . . .Kneel beside the patient and bend his arm at the elbow, pointing it upward Gently tuck the hand of the patient’s other arm underneath his cheek With your other hand, pull the patient’s knee toward you, slowly rolling him over. Then move the patient’s knee in front of his body so that it rests on the floor Tilt the patient’s head up to allow for unobstructed breathing.
