neuf: you dey read at all... or you just type and feel you're making a point. Every inch of Donbas and Crimea belongs to Ukraine. The only way referendum for self determination is recognised by UN is if Ukraine agrees to it because the territory is theirs in the first place.
Catalonia had a referendum not recognised by Spain, as of today is Catalonia internationally recognised as a country?
Every time UN charter recognised self determination. Oya go your village go hold referendum since that's the only criteria it takes.
In all things, seek understanding Na you no dey read. My first comment ask, why can't Ukraine conduct a referendum for them if they want to leave for the sake of peace? Ukraine dey take style take find trouble too. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: 'Russia Wants To Create North And South Korea In Ukraine' by Sltp: 6:28pm On Mar 27, 2022 |
neuf: at least if you want to trade insult on top your ignorance use facts.
Under international law and UN charter of which Russia is signatory, every inch of Ukraine territory belongs to Ukraine.
why do you need Governor's Consent or Certificate of Occupancy to be recognised as the legitimate owner of a piece of land if all the land belongs to the indigenes?
common sense Did you mention UN? Same UN recognizes the right to self identity and recommends conducting of referendum for to settle any case of quest for secession. You mean after secession, the indigenous people normally carry their property and leave the land because it belongs to their former country? Or what exactly is your point? The moment a referendum is conducted and there is majority vote in support of secession, the land cease to belong to the country |

neuf: Ukraine isn't stopping them to be Russian. Just don't take our territory. It's like saying Adamawa indigenes want to be Cameroonians, then move to Cameroon, don't convert Adamawa to Cameroon.
That's the impasse they have been having for 8 years Shut up! The indigenes own the land. If they don't feel safe living in Ukraine and feel they're more protected in Russia or as an independent country, they have a right to go. It's their right to self identity. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: 'Russia Wants To Create North And South Korea In Ukraine' by Sltp: 2:50pm On Mar 27, 2022 |
Why not conduct a referendum? Ukraine contributed a lot to this war. If the indigenes of those regions want to be Russians, you let them be. Is that not their right? |

MadamVanessa:

Let me be very candid, I never believed that Ukraine can be this powerful at Initial stage of the war. Even though I supported them, I was still doubting their ability to withstand Russia because I believe all the Russia hyped I read online that Russia have this , Russia have that, they're this and they're that, little did I know that all that was just a mere lies and propaganda done by Putin's puppet.
Russia is nothing believe me.
Putin is overrated, this war has really exposed who Putin really is. well, maybe America is nothing as well because they've never fought a war with strong resistance. Ordinary Vietnam was dropping American soldiers like flies. Russia is not only fighting Ukraine, Russia is fighting the whole world. Even if you hate Russia, you have to admit their strength |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Ukraine war: NATO will respond in kind if Putin uses chemical weapons - Biden by Sltp: 11:02pm On Mar 24, 2022 |
DoctorOlasDesk: Anti-NATO miscreants like Iran, China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Turkmenistan watching their leader in shame. So, this is the giant they were counting upon to lead an Anti-West.
I'm beginning to think this war was fated to expose the weakness and unclothedness of Russia to the entire world and its self, to inspire and usher new humility that will lead for peace that would go on to span for decades.
Thanks to Ukraine for the sacrifices made to ensure this new reality is achieved.
Russia the puss. Putin is a walking corpse. The only way this way ends since it's now a stalement with no progress and no humility to return home. End Putin, use any of the ambitious colonels to achieve this feat and the needless killings ends.
This war will put these Anti-NATO miscreants in check for atleast 50 years
Another thing i love about this war, the sanctions and all I find surprising is the audacity of the American stance
1. USA Started and maintained the pressure even before allies like Germany came onboard
2. Germany has been fighting American leadership long before almost asusming itself as a peer-mate. This war has humbled even Germany to follow like a faithful and loyal servant should
3 The ability to tame the bear and the dragon together, Russia and China without breaking a sweat
4. Putting China in it's place. USA has been telling China it would face consequences if it lends a hand. China has been mute like a wet chicken
5. Saudi Arabia is secretly thrilled and watching from the sidelines. No wonder she ordered for American patriot missiles just last week in its fight against the yemeni houthis
6. Turkey is humbled
7. India can't make " fem "
God bless USA. God bless the west. God bless Christianity Did you just say Christianity? You must be joking. And did you also say expose Russia's weakness? Then that's an emotional claim, if anything else, it has exposed Russia's strength to hold still. The whole world is arming is not only arming Ukraine. The whole world is sending fighters to Ukraine. NATO elite mercenaries are targeting top Russian military officials, NATO is supplying elite drones and fielding Ukraine precise satellite data. This coupled with the economic war from all angles. You have to give it to Russia man! |

goodheart01: Thank u for educating these block heads. Na those Putin fans shaa, they naturally lack sense
Sltp have u learnt something new today? Stop sounding like a Warthog He actually said nothing. A sudden pull out from China will have more negative effects on America than it will have on China. To pull out of China, there has to he alternatives which are not readily available. even if America start working towards pulling out of China, it will take decades to completely pull out of China as the reason they all moved to China has to be addressed in the first place. And China has now got the capacity to replicate whatever services these companies in China offer. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: China Complains As US Destroyer, Ralph Johnson Warship Navigates Taiwan Strait by Sltp: 9:55pm On Mar 19, 2022 |
Bellerophon: You should be ashamed of your ignorance, there is no such thing as a sanction proof economy in the world, not even America’s the greatest and strongest economy in recent human history is sanction proof! The basic laws of economics is predicated on the principle of supply and demand! No country is self sufficient to exclude itself from international trade! Once exchange of goods and services with an external economy is inevitable economic subsistence in isolation becomes an impossible myth!
The Trade wars between China and US during the greater part of Trumps Administration is an evidence of the ignorance of your submission, the Chinese economy shrank and projected growth had to be revised as a result of the impact of Tariffs imposed both ways by both economies in tit for tat economic reprisals! Who makes the semi conductor chips most technological innovations are based on? Intels a Us company is the largest producer which Huawei the leader in 5G technology has to rely on, yet who is the larger producer of the natural minerals from which semi conductor chips are made? China! Who is one of the largest supplier of soy or soyabeans to China which happens to have the highest population of pigs in the world as bacon is a staple there? U.S.A
The U.S Is the highest trading partner of China as China is America’s, any attempt at sanctions or trade tariffs either ways will have ripple effect on both economies as the trade receipts between them is a significant part of their GDP! American Economy is innovative and technology inclined while the Chinese is a manufacturing economy! Apple needs the factories in China to run because its manufacturing and supply chain is heavily invested in China! American economies have invested billion dollars in manufacture and supply chain technology in China, a pull out or roll back on investment of which will have a ripple effect on the Chinese economy and the ordinary consumer in America! There is no such thing as a sanction proof economy as the statement is against every logic of economic science just shut up!!! I know all this. Services provided by China is presently indispensable. Any country that dare to dump they will be hurt much more than China. It will take several decades to turn the tide. China is not Russia with dispensable services. Even the sanction on Russia with it's very small economy is shaking the world. Read with comprehension |

Susily: It's called INTER-DEPENDENCE......no country can easily dump the US DOLLARS cos it'll badly affect that country's economy......and it's a FOOL'S GAME to put your economy in harm's way just to "punish America" The world is already working towards dedollarization. The same way the US was adopted to replace gold bond, is the same way countries are working on alternatives |

Igbofam: Wrong. Had a conference call meeting with a Chinese business man based in Hong Kong a few days ago which lasted almost 45mins and he needed $50m for his business and I quote him
"$50m is not a lot of money to Americans but to us Chinese it is huge because 70% of our economy (Chinese economy) depends on the west"?
Finito.
PS. Proof that I ain't lying, That's the Chinese guy with the red arrow
Edited: picture removed first, $50m is a lot of money to Americans even the wealthiest in america don't have it. Secondly, $50m will execute x5 what it will execute in America in China. That's why the world depends on China. China depends on export, but their exports don't have alternative. Sanctioning them will hurt the sanctionee more than it hurt China. And China will still have exports to all the developed world as nobody can stop that except they want to destroy the world. Just think |
Foreign Affairs › Re: China Complains As US Destroyer, Ralph Johnson Warship Navigates Taiwan Strait by Sltp: 9:08pm On Mar 19, 2022 |
Truvelisback: China has only 2 live lines left. Either to quit the invasion of Taiwan and avoid U.S sanctions and possibly war with the U.S and NATO or invade Taiwan and see the reverse of the U.S and NATO actions. China is the only sanction proof economy in the world. Even American economy will crumble if it's sanctioned. Even dumping the universal of the dollars will crumble the American economy because that's its only strength |

Programming › Re: How Much Programming Knowledge Can I Amass In 3 Months? by Sltp: 4:50pm On Mar 17, 2022 |
The most important aspect of learning anything is learning when to take a break. I don't think it's a good idea to dedicate 8 hours each day to learning Something as complex as programming. After about 1 or two hours, you're already getting overwhelmed and the rest things will no longer be absorbed.
I'm telling you this as someone that has learned many complex skills like music, forex trading, foreign language and programming. The only thing that helped me is dedicating little hours to what I'm learning everyday, while skipping only a few days.
What I always tell people that I taught trading "it's better to learn 30 minutes to an hour everyday for 1 year than to learn 8 hours everyday for 2 months. You might think that the overall hours are similar, but the person learning 30 every day will grasp %100 better than the one learning 8 hours a day |
