Why do you think they're doing that? the mother component the former USSR will not watch on to see her children romancing with the organization that was formed against her.

You must be joking! Apart from having powerful allies, the US is not all those things you mentioned. Check any development index or index of anything positive, you'll see America from 10 to 30th positions.

Some people call Zelensky a hero, but I also think he's highly inexperienced in international politics and leadership. To him, since Ukraine has been invaded, the whole world rather burn along Ukraine. He's unwise. The world can sacrifice Ukraine and Russia for the world to keep existing, hence the West's incessant sanctions aiming to cripple and destroy Russia without any upfront confrontation as that would be extremely deadly for the world.
