Politics / Re: ‘i Am A Card Carrying Member Of Pdp’, Obasanjo Tells Apc by slugggers: 12:26am On Dec 22, 2013
Pukkah:

It's high wire politics.

Although I'm no fan of Obasanjo. I also don't think he should be feted, adored or celebrated. Obasanjo is part of the problems of Nigeria.

But, again, does politics many times follow paper logic?

The way of politicians is not straight. Politics itself is crooked.

APC seems to be playing a politics of expediency. But I don't like this visit. There's something about it that doesn't sound right except to those involved in the horse trading and high wire politics.

The meeting got me deflated like a balloon. This meeting doesn't feel right at all. No sane politician should get close to OBJ. OBJ is part of Nigeria's problem. This is the same OBJ who forced Yar'Adua and Clueless Jonathan on Nigerians.

This meeting destroyed my weekend. I am a sad man this evening.

Obama is a failed president. He just wanted to be president without any plan to back-up what he said he would do. Obama will be remembered as a lost opportunity. There's nothing that George Bush did wrong that Obama has not done. Obama lies so much that when caught, he lies again to get out of lies. Imagine denying he didn't promise to do certain things, whereas there are videos of Obama on youtube promising to do the exact thing.

I regret voting for him.

DerideGull:

I am shockingly worried what a cheap contract has done to your usual stream of thought. A person that spends good money to visit home and stay in touch with happenings in Imo State can not be adjudged as someone who lives off the clips of obscure newspapers. I have argued before Mallam Rochas Okorocha and few honorable members of IMHA that the mixture of concrete and corrugated Iron sheets does not equate to progress.

Granted that good network of roads are major stay in the drive for economic development, the need to develop the mind of our people structurally through humble demeanor of our leaders should not be overlooked.

With the bolded, it shows your are an old fvctard with the brain of a snail. He wasn't a "Mallam" until he switched to APC.

Achebe deserves the hottest part of hell. Achebe should rot in hell for his misrepresentation. I am sure Achebe is in hell at the moment burning and regretting why he lied and misled millions of people. Achebe left out the atrocities of Biafra Army but wrote about atrocities of Nigerian Army who warned Ojukwu about consequences of war. Achebe is one of the reasons why Nigeria is polarized today. Jonathan is following the script of Achebe thinking he can re-write history by being the macho man for Ibos.

Once again, Achebe should and must rot in hell fire.

Good luck in hell Achebe.

naija_racist: While watching ChannelsTV 10pm news yesterday and seeing this lady - Ngozi Okonjo Iweala present the 2014 National Budget to the 'NASS', I said to those around me, 'See Nigeria's next president of Igbo extraction!'.
I don't care who you are or where you come from, Ngozi is well capable. And to think that she has maturedly waded through the murky waters of Nigerian politics and raised her head high above all the unwarranted insults and ethnic attacks of all sorts, she scores extremely high in my book. Never for once has she retorted in the same venom and bitterness rather she calmly and calculatedly goes about her impressive wrk of seeing the general economic devt of the nation and she only replies when absolutely necessary -as she did the mumu 'Rep' on TV last night who was definitely high on some cheap substance.
So I say once again, Nigeria here is your next president - of Igbo etxraction - after GEJ.

And she is going to be the first Nigerian President getting paid in foreign exchange ($$$$$$$$$$$$$$$).

I don't know how Nigerians let themselves become obese like Iweala looks in this picture above. I was surprised when a Nigerian told me being fat is a sign of living well and being healthy. SMH! Do Nigerians exercise when they become rich?

Please look at this poster with what he said about Yorubas. I challenge you to look at the history of what the poster posts about any tribe other than Igbos.

Ikengawo: Dont take second term governors, serial election losers (buhari, rochas), booted ministers (Kayode, El Rufai, Ribadu) fading godfathers (Tinubu, obasanjo, atiku) as a representation of what's happening on the ground. Rochas for example is a political island in Imo state, and the APC there won't accept him. Amaechi is a second term governor in a state RULED by the PDP that made him. Kwankwaso is a second term governor with an pending EFCC case.

The only APC members with solid footing on their states are the ACN ones. The rest are looking for political relevance as the top of the pile in PDP's dust bin.

Are politicians animals while people are humans? Politicians are also people, my friend. grin grin
