Read an article about him today. Seems he admitted to some of the lies but intends to say in office. In a different era, he would have bowed out as his party would have forced him to. But with the advent of Trump and his brand of no accountability politics, he won't. Santos is at the apex of his power, esp. as the prospect of criminally charges loom large. McCarthy needs his vote and there is less of a chance a R will win again in that district. So, I'm sure they've made a deal for him to stay for his vote, well until he is indicted. Then he can scream witch hunt.

Now his Democratic Challenger is calling for a special election and the calls from Congress for Santos not to be seated is growing louder while Leticia James is having a look.
It will be one of the many disasters gop won't resurrect from if they seat him. The whole nation now knows Santos is a fraud. That may not even be his name.
And his district is the most wealthiest in the country, shows money can't buy intelligence.

The last few pages of this thread.. both disturbing and depressing. Thought the holidays would at least have tempered the depravity. Guess not. I find the weakest of men(emotionally) are the most sexist.

It's also odd when I hear people who actively live in Nigeria (probably their village), talk about the collapse of the USA. It's a total lack of self-awareness. The US could collapse 50% and still have better living conditions than the majority of Nigeria for the majority of Nigerians. Honestly your time is better spent focusing your energy on helping the country you and your family live in. I'm saying this as someone who loves Nigeria.
