Personally I sense there are some deep-seated animosity, envy and disdain other yoruba groups have towards the Ijebu people, probably because thr Ijebu people don't act like typical yorubas as they are more educated, wealthier and much more unique in their undiluted Ijebu identities compared to the lower yoruba groups who are largely uncivilized.
