Awolowo later strengthened his Posiion by allying with the Ibadan Peoples Party

It was because NCNC was previously Herbert Macauley’s Party that it was able to get many votes in the West
Herbert Macauley Still had much goodwill in the West


Azikiwe destroyed that Goodwill wth his intense Tribal bias in filling Official positions meant for party members
Azikiwe ended up turning the once National NCNC under Macauley into a Tribal party

The same NCNC non Ibos wrote a white paper document in which they detailed the tribalism and nepotism and how the ibos were filling up government positions with their people and skipping more senior non Ibos.

Same rubbish they did with the VC's position of Unilag and UI in the western region. Senior Yoruba professors were skipped for less senior Ibo ones. When Ironsi was eliminated in the coup, those tribalist postings were corrected.

Once Anioma succesfully joins SE Igbo, you will see more realignment from not just other Igbos in SS but other tribes. It will shock Nigerians!

After Anioma, next is Ikwerre in Rivers that identify openly with Igbos like the Ameachi and Odili, separating from Ikwerre that don't identify with Igbos like Wike. What most Nigerians don't know is the part of Rivers where most of the oil is located is near Abia and Imo borders, the people living there are Igbos carved out from old Imo state to create Rivers state.

Even Igodomigodo people in Edo, the Esan, Afamai and Ogbona people, who are actually Igbo blood and resemble Igbos too, might demand for their own state to separate from the Benin people who are Yoruba blood and resemble Yorubas too. When you see any light skin Edo person, just know they are from Igodomigodo. They can't be from Benin because Benin people are Yoruba blood, so naturally they are not light skin. This is how you know the difference.
