Music industry seems to have a lot of toxicity. Every now and then the gist of how people are badly managed keeps coming out.

The industry needs regulation and a standard of practice in place. Not until another artist die

Why are people angry that a celebrity and social media personality announced his divorce on social media. Where else is he supposed to do it. Bill Gate called press conference for his own, Ay Makun and many other celebrities do same. Sometimes it is better to tell your story than allow bloggers to use you chase followers and tell the story in a false manner. He didn't slander her , he didn't say she did bad (at least in the initial post) . He simply announced their separation.

I know we all quote PIA. A gentle reminder, the drummer behind the scene of PIA is obvious now. Some of these guys are even delivering with brand new SUVs purchased on credits and after a deeper dive, I came to realize our people here live mostly above their means to impress fellow Nigerians. They buy houses or cars they cannot afford and now have to work three jobs and drive on the side to maintain their fake lifestyles.

This is not a healthy way to live guys, learn to relax and enjoy yourself once in a while, do not live above your means and the fact that you are pre-authorized for that big mortgage, loan, or line of credit does not mean you have to accept.

Learn to live your life without trying to please or impress anyone and occasionally, take time off to have fun and enjoy yourself, take vacations.

It is good for you to mind your business. People do what works for them. They don't need you to pay their bills. And by the way do you own the restaurant or working for the restaurant, you did not make that clear in your post. Just asking

How long do we need to wait for other refinery to work? Don't forget we have being waiting forever for Nigerian refineries to work but to no end and you want us to keep waiting. Haba now, thats not fair on us.

I don't know why dangote is even bothered. If I was him, I will import my crude from other African countries and also sell to them and other African countries. At the end, its Nigerians that will come begging.

Mtn is local even though the investors are partly south Africans and others, but its still local. So long it pays taxes to your government and employ your people then its local... don't also forget, taxes are meant to be use to create viable environment and infrastructure for the said business that is paying it to strive, so yea MTN is local with diverse investors.

I am suggesting that we should allow market fair play. All refineries be it private or government own should get share of available crude based on capacity.

Glo is coexisting with MTN that is true privatization. The masses have benefited from the competition in that sector. Leading to price being more favorable . Monopoly is never a good option.

It's local content because the company is located In Nigeria and pay tax on some things to Nigeria, employ locals to work in the company who also in turn pay tax and it cascade down to their families. He will make the petroleum products available meaning scarcity will be reduced or eliminated. Now he will sell at internatuonal price because he buys the crude at international price, if you want him to sell cheap, sell crude to him cheap.
what we are saying is sell to him first.

There is plenty sense here. But you know MTN nigeria is not local right? There are many ways government can leverage on the Refinery being in Nigeria. Crude swap for refined products is one but other refinery must work let's not enter into a dangerous monopoly

How is Dangote a local content. When refined fuel sells at almost same cost as imported. And the example you cited did not follow. None of the companies supported by US threatened government export revenue and their trade dispute with China doesn't mean many tiger countries are not trading freely and competing with locals.

Why will a law mandate a country to sell her resources to a private establishment and meet allnthe demand of such private establishment.

In Nigeria need to stop selling crude to international market to meet Dangote's refineries demand because "it is a law"

We all know that Dangote is not going to sell fuel cheaper to Nigerians. His cement is an example. So what is the benefit of common man.

The problem is lack of data and structure. Funding SME is the best ideally. But my guess is that the money being shared presently are going to the hands of politicians or people that have political affliations favorable to the sharer.
Also , some civil servants are also SME so eventually the model would have been the best if done sincerely.

Apple is difficult to contend with. It is like national phone for them in the US. If you don't use IPhone they see you as odd one out. And I think the system protect them against competitions, remember Huawei once had some ban in the US. When Google was forced to stop partnering with them so their phones couldn't run on the popular Android os. That weakens Huawei. The system is also protecting Twitter now by putting a ban on tiktok except they sell their shares to Americans .
