can you share the sample of the binding wire you talking about and also I'm not putting it on aluminium or iron roof. It's a slate roof like i said earlier

I dont have them, because l dont use them, I use Aluminum Window Profile as Railings for my Panels.
But l have seen them at the Market, when buying Iron, Binding Wires and other Building Materials in the Past.

My own advise is that: The risk of fire is very high, when things are not done properly and with standard materials.
Moreover, fire from Lithium Batteries should never happen to anyone, if is so ferocious and doesn't hear "e don do". angry

Spending extra #30,000+- for Aluminum Railings and steel Wires, to save one's property, family and House, is not a bad bargain though l understand that fingers are not equal.
Each man to his own, at the end of the day.

thanks.. I'm using the binding wire above. I'm on a band A & not using an heavy setup as we do have light and however I'm even thinking of going off grid as my wife and children comes back from shop at 9pm and that's the time we use light, watch TV for an hour and go to bed to sleep with Fan only.

However you talked about the binding wire, if it rust does that mean it'll cut off after a while if it rust .

Lastly, with Just light and Tv I should be able to off grid for night TV, 10w bulb & dc fan usage overnight while everybody goes out in the morning while attached it to a 18v 200w(2 pcs) cux I only have Bsc pwm controller already kept aside

Try and use stainless steel wire (the shiny, silver one).
That one will not rust.
Also, l will advise against putting your Solar Panels directly on any iron/aluminum roofing sheet.
Try and get the Aluminum railing, you can go to any Aluminum Village to buy it directly. They use it as Window Profile and it is far-far cheaper from such places.
Safe comes first and above any other thing, let us not take too much fire risk, so we can have rest of mind.

I want to assume you are not a Nigerian but if you are, the below is for you:

Why cant you tell the "Looting Clueless Leaders" you support, to do what is Right so that the younger generation can have a future in this Country?
Have you not seen what that young man in Burkina faso (Traore) is doing to his Country, despite meagre resources?
Do you think the young Nigerians you are preaching to, to stay in Nigeria and develop Nigeria, have not been doing that since the past 30years?

And then we have a Government that is supposed to kill these type of Terrorist-Kidnappers, sewing Adire for them, giving them Money, sending them Overseas and calling them "Repentant terrorists"?

With the set of Evil and Corrupt Leaders Nigeria has (have you seen the NASS?), it is a big risk for any decent, young Person to want to "stay and develop Nigeria" because those in Power are only intersted in looting the Country-dry, not in partnering with young people to develop the Country.

We have ONLY ONE LIFE, it is not smart to allow some riff-raff Politician to help you waste it while their own Children are living large from our stolen Common-Wealth.
If "Abroad" is where one can get Peace of Mind, then so be it.

I have stayed in Jo'borg for some time in the past and i just wonder how these people hope to survive because while their Women are hard working, their Men are so lazy, drink Alcohol and take Drugs all day and when they dont have money to fund their bad habit, they resort to Crime.
Why did they not SetUp Business, like the immigrants have done and then refuse to employ immigrants in such Business and reserve it for South Africans alone?
Why do they just want to inherit the Business of Black Immigrants?
Why cant they go and try to seize the Business of Indians and White Africaaners?

Ireland deported 29 South Africans, last week.

Other Countries are considering tougher Action against them too.
African Leaders must table their matter at the AFRICAN UNION MEETING and Sanctions should be issued against South Africa.
Ban all their Exports, Sanction their Companies all over Africa.
Drag their President before the United nations, for not upholding UN Charters.
Pressure the US to sanction them (I am sure trump will be too happy to do so).

Isolate them the way the Apartheid Government was isolated,
Boycott whatever they Host. Boycott their Products, their Artists, Events, etc
The Punishment must be TOTAL, to send a strong message that Africa will not tolerate such beastly behaviors.

I generally dont like Nigerian men marrying Oyinbo, better to look for an African American from a decent Home.
Most times, study the Mother of the girl, study how she treats her Father and that will give you a very big clue into what you want to marry because, Children learn mostly from their Parents.

The argument that the modern Lagos State government "can't" match Jakande due to economic factors is only half the story. The truth is that the current administration has actively chosen a completely different governance and economic philosophy, shifting from a welfare-driven social housing mandate to a profit-aligned commercial model.

This reminds me of how Tinubu set the foundation of profiteering off public housing but many think it's all about politics. We all know there is a public housing crisis in Lagos but let's keep pretending and playing games.

But the evidence suggests that MOST them are into it.
What i would expect is that the Union (every Trade Group has a Union in that place) will mobilize the Good Ones among them, with the Help of the Govt Authorities like Police, Standards Organization, NADFDAC, etc, to rout out the ones giving them a bad business.
But instead, it seems they are mostly doing it, since it is all about making money.

These Counterfeiting and Fakery kills People and destroys Family/Businesses, it needs to STOP
A Business man can still make Reasonable Profit, without cutting this sort of evil corners
