Arostar2023:It is a "local champion" mentality. Just because someone has the opportunity to loot Govt funds, or engage in financially rewarding 'criminal business like selling fake Drugs or counterfeit products and therefore has some small money to flex with, they think everyone else is okay with doing such things and are therefore financially comfortable like them. The world is now a Global Village, Migration is a universal phenomena, not restricted to Nigerians or Africans alone. My own position is, if you must travel to another Country, make sure you do so legally and abide by the laws of your Host Country, Work hard, make enough Money and come back home to invest, hopefully when our useless leaders have grown some sense and reduced their mismanagement of the Country 2 Likes |

I lived in Johannesburg for a whole year, because l was attending a Year long Training Course at the IBM Centre, very close to Sandston City Mall. I stayed all year, at the Travelers Lodge Hotel next to the IBM Centre, anyone who knows J'bourg well, can relate with where l am mentioning. I mingled with these people a lot, l had friends among them, long before l even went there. My Cousin is married to a South African, two years before l went and l have been there on 'Visits' for short periods (One Month, Two Months), before my own year-long trip. Only a small group of Nigerians engage in Crimes there, a vast majority of South Africans are responsible for the Crimes there. They rob in traffic, mug and do all sort of things the Bot on this forum will not allow me to type. They are Lazy, especially their Men, all they think about is sag their Trousers, knack women, drink alcohol all day or take Drugs. Such lazy people cannot but go into Crime. What we are seeing, is a re-direction of Failure, by their Political leaders, to distract their lazy Citizens from their Failures. Finger Pointing. You can see the body language of their President and the i-dont-care attitude of their Security Forces, when they see their People attacking deeply Migrants. I SEE FEAR in Putin, but l also see RESTRAINT, because when this Big War unfolds, Russia has only one Option to survive: Nuclear Weapons. And it will use it, hence it is very reluctant to act now. (Ukraine is even not in the equation, that one will completely destroy itself very soon because it is running out of able-bodied Men to send to the War Front ) At that point, it will no longer be afraid it will also get nuked, it will be about who else wants to get nuked? New York? Berlin? London? Paris? Tel Aviv? It will be a War between Nuclear Weapon States and How much Destruction of your own People and Cities, the Leaders are willing to Accept. Every time l see this sort of situation, especially when Nigerians are involved, l get annoyed at the Host Country (like South Africa) but it quickly don on me that the bigger problem is the Leaders in a well blessed Country that are looting resources meant for the population and they are the ones that deserve our Anger. Imagine the Deputy Head of the NNPCL telling Senate Committee that they used Two Hundred and Ninety Three Billion Naira (#293Billion) to REGISTER NNPCL as a limited Liability Company! But Company registration is less that Twenty Thousand Naira, infact, it was done for free, less than two years ago! It is this sort of monumental level of Corruption, that spreads poverty and drive Nigerians to relocate to ANYWHERE, including into Countries that hate Blacks (Arab North African Countries) or Xenophobic Republic like South Africa. If we don't fix our Country and get rid of Looters, Bad Government, things will keep getting worse and we will keep getting treated like Garbage, by those who should be our Shoe-Shiners. Let us make the Sacrifice, to make Nigeria work for all of us, by shunning Tribalism, Religious, stop supporting Criminal Politicians/Political party, stop Voting along Ethnic and Religious lines, ..... TOGETHER, face our Rulers SQUARELY, they are the real and bigger enemies. CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME. Poor Game overall, it was a Brawl, the Panamanians were very Physical and Rough. The Ghananians were Unsettled, no pattern to their game but they won, that is the most important thing. THREE POINTS. Maybe it is just me, but l think all these referees were always very Unfair in Decision-making, once it involves a Black Player! In the England game, Saka was fouled and ignored by the Referee In this game, the referee keeps overlooking the Fouls of the Panamanians but will blow every infringement the Ghananians commit. I see this pattern all the time, it is as if the Referees are saying: You are Black therefore, you must be the offender! Thank you Ghana, for making Africa Proud. Sometimes l just wonder: How can any Nigerian survive without drinking Garri, at least once in a week? I drink it mostl late evening, when l are fed-up with other foods in the Kitchen and Pantry. It brings back good memories that l take to bed. Doctor and Wifey have advised against it in the last two-three decades but me no send. I'd rather die eating what l enjoy., something must kill a Man and Garri is my Choice, if it is true. Garri with Moinmoin Garri with Groundnuts, iced water, Honey (No sugar for me again!) and Ewa Agoin Garri with Kulinkuli Garri with Donkwa Garri with Akara (Bean cake) Garri with Smoke-Dried Cat fish Garri with fried Meat/Fish, especially Titus Fish (sprinkled with small Salt) Not a fan of putting Milk in Garri Anyhow you chose, Garri wins. TimeManager:Let us assume the bolded is true. In such case, the lower Judge would simply tell the Parties that a Higher Court, has taken over the Case and let the Parties report to the Higher Court. That aside, the Higher Court's STAY, means STAY, a lower Court cannot over-rule it by deliberating on the same matter, for whatever reason 1 Like |

Lifu may even face disciplinary procedure, for abusing the Court process and bringing it to disrepute Once a Higher Court rules on a Case, it should not go back to the lower Court. In the current case, the ruling is "a Stay", so it is not a final ruling. But the formerlly existing ruling of the Appellate Court, has made any ruling after it by Judge Lifu lower Court, Null and Void.
