The problem with infinix and tecno is that they use cheap MTK (Media Tek) processors and still sell the phones costly in my opinion compared to what's obtainable in China and India for example.
If you want the best of Picture in your Android phone, buy Phones with Qualcomm's Snapdragon processors.

Depending on the tecno or infinix phone, I may be able find older ones for it but it may not be stable and many functions won't work properly

Gcam is an Android Camera App built by Google exclusively for their Google Pixel devices but plenty Android developers have ported to hundreds of other Android devices.

The difference between it and the native camera is IMAGE PROCESSING which is more important in camera nowadays than just the Good hardware. Most other Android OEMs haven't put in the amount R& Google put in to their camera app so, if you can find a stable Gcam for your Android phone, it will take better pictures than your native camera

RN7pro is a great device packed with premium Sony IMX686 48Mp sensor for main camera. Just let me know if you are on MIUI China Rom or Global or even custom Rom let me give you one Gcam for a test and you will call the result yourself.

What is Gcam?
Gcam is short for Google Camera App for Android. Years back it was available for all Android but Google pulled it out from the play store (in 2016) because they found an algorithm that gives them a competitive edge over other Android OEMs. From the birth of Google Pixel devices, Gcam just keep getting better and better as you will see in some of the pictures below.

Thank God Android is open source which means you can modify codes in some apps or port it to your own device once it is not for commercial use. So developers have ported plenty Google camera ports to tons of Android devices.

Is there a working Gcam for my Android phone?
Probably yes, it's is straight yes if your device processor is Snapdragon but if it is MTK or Kirin (Huawei/Honor phones) or Exynos (some Samsung phones) then it may be a bit difficult to find. But relax, we got you covered...

Banks Ban Bitcoin purchase in the United States and United Kingdom with the use of credit cards fearing it could end in tears. These banks believe that such transactions could in trouble for both customers and banks as well. In the US, Chase, Bank of America and Citigroup have all banned the use of credit cards for Bitcoin purchases, while in the UK the Lloyds group has done the same. The UK ban, reported by Reuters, applies to Lloyds itself, Bank of Scotland, Halifax and MBNA.

On the peripheral, it looks like these banks are looking out for the best interest of their customers. However, taking a closer look at Bloomberg report that banks have a number of concerns – debt, defaults and the risk of fraud and money-laundering.

Allowing purchases of cryptocurrencies can create big headaches for lenders, which can be left on the hook if a borrower bets wrong and can’t repay. There’s also the risk that thieves will abuse cards that were purloined or based on stolen identities, turning them into crypto hoards. Banks also are required by regulators to monitor customer transactions for signs of money laundering — which isn’t as easy once dollars are converted into digital coins.

Sensitive information ranging from Bank account number to passwords are always the target of hackers. There are many ways such data can be accessed from your smartphone but our focus today is clipboard. This is critical as most of us are not ready to type in passwords always or memorize them hence copy/paste. The problem is, every app in your smartphone can access the clipboard – the temporary storage for everything copied. To make the problem worse, most of these apps that can access the clipboard can do so without your permission.

ARE MY SENSITIVE INFORMATION BEING STOLEN
That’s a good question, the answer is not simple all the same. Hackers will try to steal it, apps infected with malware or from unknown sources will do same, maybe untrusted genuine app.

THE CLIPBOARD ISSUE BECAME CRITICAL FOR US WHEN ELLIOTT ALDERSON ACCUSED ONE PLUS OF SENDING DATA FROM CLIPBOARD TO A SERVER IN CHINA.

According to Elliott, “The @OnePlus #clipboard app contains a strange file called badword.txt In these words, we can find: Chairman, Vice President, Deputy Director, Associate Professor, Deputy Heads, General, Private Message, shipping, Address, email…” and many more sensitive. Smart self-driving buses are now been tested in China. These smart buses have been developed by Shenzhen Bus Group. They have cameras, GPS antennas and LIDAR sensors. These buses have been designed to avoid hitting pedestrian, bypass obstacles and stop at designated stations. During the test, drivers ride on the buses to change the vehicles from self-driving to manual mode in case of an emergency.

These smart vehicles poses a threat of taking over jobs handled by human but should we be concerned? We might get to a point where ‘Skynet’ will take over the world maybe in the next millennium. Life is smart and so easy; productivity is maximal too, when we utilize these smart tools properly.

Stay relevant! In 2018 more human jobs will be lost due Artificial intelligence and more jobs will be created due to the same AI. Which side are you going to be on? The major security concern about Google interconnected Apps is that one saved password can give you access to plenty saved passwords. For some of us who are too lazy to remember all login details and passwords, we give Google that job. It’s so easy, stress free but this is biggest backdoor for you to get hacked. Before now, anyone who have access to your device can look up your google account password(s) from password view once your password have been saved on that device before. They can go ahead and view all your saved password. But Google has changed all that right now!

Security wise, Google is good, very good, they re-branded saved passwords to Smart Lock! They just improved the security measured required to view saved password. The problem most times, we do not take enough care to maintain strong security measures at all times. Now Google will not let you use a saved password to login to passwords.google.com, you’ll type it in afresh and you will get an instant email notification once you do.



VIEW SAVED PASSWORD ON GOOGLE.COM
Google Chrome browser can remember your saved passwords and sync them across all your signed in devices. This means that your saved passwords can be accessed from any other device. Before now, you can access saved passwords once you have logged in before from the device. From the settings, click on saved passwords, select view and manage passwords at passwords.google.com. After the security update, you can no longer view passwords with already saved password – that option has been removed. You must enter the google account password afresh to view all saved passwords. That’s not all! Google will now send you an instant notification anytime your credential is used to login at passwords.google.com



SECURE YOUR ACCOUNT
First, I don’t advice people to store sensitive password online. But if you do, you must take strict security measures to ensure that all the devices that you signed into your Google account or any other account you used to store password is locked. I know some of us do neglect some mails from google about our accounts but emails about viewed passwords should be taken very seriously.

Tweetstorm or what is now officially call Twitter Thread has been around for some time now as we earlier explained in our Tips and Tricks. Today Twitter has officially launched ‘Thread’ an official feature that allows you to tweetstorm. We’ve already explained tweetstorm in our tips and tricks here but for benefit of doubt we will summarize it again.

HOW DOES TWITTER THREAD WORK.

It’s simple! Type your tweet messages or thoughts, press the newly added “+” button beside the circular limits indicator (this + button may not be in your twitter right now but don’t worry, it will soon appear) to add a additional new tweet (or thread). You can add many threads after that, press the tweet all button which will now appear on the top and there you go.



According to twitter, only 25 threads will be allowed for now. That is a lot considering that each thread can take up to 280 characters now. This new thread feature can allow you edit or to be properly put, update a thread already tweeted. To do so, you’ll write out the new tweet after tapping the “Add another Tweet” button. This lets you continue to update a thread forever. This will be very useful for twitter users who have great reactions to their thread.

Google has just released a new standalone app Datally designed to help you manage how apps use your data.

This app let’s you see how and when apps use your data, which apps are using the most data and the capacity to restrict them. More importantly, there’s a big button at the top of the app that lets you stop all background data usage, so only the app that’s actively onscreen can use mobile data.



The very good thing about this app is the size – 4.68Mb which will be nice even on phones with smaller storage. The permissions include calls, sms, location, network and above all usage access permission.



Datally is being released as part of Google’s Next Billion Users initiative, which is focused on making Google products more usable in countries that have limited mobile connections and where lower-end hardware remains widespread. That’s why the initiative is focusing on basic features like storage management.

Josh Woodward, the product manager overseeing Datally, says the idea for the app came from seeing the lengths that people go to preserve data, particularly in countries where mobile plans remain relatively expensive. In Delhi, Lagos, and Buenos Aires, Woodard said his team saw people who would keep their phone on airplane mode at all times to prevent data usage. When they wanted to check their notifications, they’d turn airplane mode off, let all the info rush in, and then turn airplane mode back on while they looked over the new information.
