Now unto the small matter of what we need. I don't agree that we need a no9. The way we play, with fluidity, quick positional interchange amongst the front 3 and to a large extent front 5 ( when Phil & lallana are available, we really don't need an outright no9 who imo wouldn't allow for such swift interchange as they're less mobile. Besides scoring goals has never been the issue for this team even with the current set up. All we need do is cut our concession rate and we're good to go.

We should go all out and get VVD, he's the solution to our leaky back line or someone like Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly would do.

Leipzig's Baby Keita would have been the signing of the summer but it seems that one is dead in the water already, however it'll be nice if we can get another midfielder who would add some steel to the midfield as well as do some creation. Nice's Jean Michael Series was sounded out but looks like he's heading to the camp nou.

It's hard to imagine Liverpool fan and selling coutinho in one sentence. The way we are set up to play, we need Phil's creativity in the midfield. He'll progress a lot more this season than he's done so far in that no8 role. Add in the fact that selling him sends out a bad signal to other players in the squad and confirms our small club mentality. He should stay.

I think the set piece issue is more of a personnel thing than system. This should be addressed if we are able to get Van Dijk.

First and foremost, we need to keep Coutinho no matter the cost. It's high time we quashed that notion that we're a selling club and show some ambition..

We need to go out and spend ourselves. We should be getting VVD or any other defender of his calibre to pair with Joel Matip as Lovren is always a disaster waiting to happen. Looks like Klopp has got some games up his sleeves but if we start September 1 with this squad, it'll be a year of waiting for the season to end sooner.

I hope we can get another midfielder, someone close to Keita's class who can add authority to our midfield in the absence of Phil and lallana.

Overall, after two games we have 4pts as against 3pts this same stage last season without our best midfielders in the team and still with major transfer dealings to be completed. Looks good to me if you consider that we went to Hoffenheim and won at a ground where they haven't lost in 15 months. Hopefully, we can complete the job on Wednesday and get another 3 pts next Sunday against Arsenal.

Doctrines have been the bane of Christianity over the years.

The reason why a celestial member will not marry a redeem member is doctrine. The reason why a Christ embassy member will not relate with a deeper life member is doctrine.

So instead of worrying why there are so many doctrines, why not pick a Bible today and read for yourself. God will reveal himself to you on a personal level for He said " seek and ye shall find"

This is the only way you'll know if what your pastor and church teaches aligns with what God says.
