I eat the dried version of this very sweet fish almost every time I go to my village although not as big. It is not rare at all where I come from. The wonders of the world beneath the sea's!! |
1919? That's 98 years ago for crying out loud. That's 5 years after the illegal contraption by lord lugard gave birth to this unworkable marriage called Nigeria. Yet the APC led govt. could even dream to put this joke of a comparison in print.....makes you want to hide in a closet and just weep for Nigeria. How exactly did get here? Let them organise a counter protest and show their folly to the world. The only things that works in this govt. is cluelessness, corruption and an organized media drive aimed at further deepening our ethno-religious differences while the cabal continues to amass untold wealth for their generations yet unborn.

In advanced nations, a presidential call would not only be backed by a picture of an allegedly vegetable president but a recorded audio evidence but in Nigeria all we have is the president taking pictures with some overzealous governors supposedly at his abuja house in London and calls and more calls with no evidence whatsoever. This is a slap on the intelligence of the over 180m Nigerians. I want to believe this recent episode is just the brain child of people who only want to garner traffic using this story due to its sensitive nature as I can't seem to find any aso rock source or governor obiano himself confirming the call from Mr president. I once used to have a friend, Edi, from anambra state who never went home for any holidays whatsoever, and when I queried, he said there was no point of going home if you don't have a bottomless sack of cash with which to measure up alongside your age mates back home as he would be a laughing stock even amongst his own very family. This paints a picture of a society where all that matters is money and nothing else. That's the reason why you have this kind of scenario where the drug crimes of one man is been revenged on his kinsmen. As an undergraduate, my friend okechukwu from IMO state once told me how he had already concluded arrangements to push drug to Singapore. When I rehearsed all the possible consequences with him, he seemed to back down until travelling to Lagos a few years later never to be heard from again. All these just to make sure you're fitting in, competing alongside your age mates. Suffice to say okey is (was) one of the most intelligent and creative persons I ever met but the blood rush for money among the Igbo's (although not all) apparently caught up with him. It is good to make money and a lot of it but not to the extreme where it puts one's life or another's in jeopardy. May the souls of the dead in Ozubulu rest in peace and the perpetrators of this massacre either directly or indirectly be brought to face the full wrath of the law. |
If this drug story is true, then Bishop is in hot soup. You can't spill blood in the house of God and not pay for it Their blood will be required from his hands. |
simplex2:Personally I have had experiences that demonstrate in clear terms that God exists. I don't know what you believe and why you so staunchly mock the existence of God but I pray God reveals himself to you otherwise someday you'll remember you read this on nairaland but you ignored because everything seemed to follow a certain order that you refused to believe when you had the chance to do so. Time will fail me to tell you of more popular men who had even more fervent beliefs than the once you portray but on their dying, in that transient moment when you can feel the world around you passing away slowly and that ahead unfolding with an uncertain clearness, they wished they had another chance to live a life acknowledging God. Whether you believe Him or not, God is still God and regardless of the rot and inhumanity in the world, He still remains God. Abel was a Godly man but God didn't prevent Cain from killing his own brother, He only meted out the punishment for his crime....and that punishment was too much for him! Do not be deceived God cannot be mocked! |
The sort of thing you see and just shed tears!! War in the middle east! North Korea nuclear bomb threats!! Manchester bombing, Paris bombing & Dortmund attacks. Tehran Parliament building bombing. ISIS Boko Haram Civil war in Venezuela Brexit Herdsman killing all over Nigeria Massacre in Churches & Mosque's Civilization and nudity reaching its climax "Wars and rumours of wars, brother rising against brother, nation against nation and kingdom's against kingdom's, when ye hear of these know that the end surely is at hand"....... Jesus Christ. |
Chaii see better jab for boys, N350/m that year. Only Ajamopol go dig like 20m, B4 4pm money for evening flexing don sup. Na so we take hustle for Rumuewhara OroIgwe. Started from the bottom now we up. |
torres89:Here's what Jesus Christ said "Go yea into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover"...... Mark 16: 15-18. These are the very words of Jesus Christ. In another Bible passage, He said "If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say whatever ye will and it shall be so" You can do miracles youraelf if you believe and have faith. It's that simple. |
With that kinda money he can afford to move half his extended family wherever ho goes across Europe. Blessings fall on all those who're working hard. |

All a federal senator can say on the issue of economic growth is that we should make less babies because population and economic growth are moving in opposite directions. Shame!! |
Starboi..... Africa's Number 1
I am a Christian but I have reservations in some of the doctrines. I mustnt believe everything. [/quote Off course we all have a right to chose what to and what not to believe. But i'm really interested in in what you believe perhaps it might serve me well too |
TheArchangel:Really? You are apparently not a Christian like you don't go to church. So what is then your idea of heaven? |
freshest4live:OK. Basically, I'm just talking about the process the lady is indulging in which is remove water from fish to preserve it (like you pointed out). I was thinking along the line of having a more automated dryer, where the temperature profile can be better monitored or modelled, in which case drying rate and all that comes to play but I think this would be tough given the source and method of heating. |
BabaRamota1980:Hehehe.......looks for Tom tom to lick!! Disgusting shit!! |
God calls every man singly and we answer singly as well. In the face of God, our churches do not matter but the state of our heart with Him through Jesus Christ, For there is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved. Heaven is the goal for all who seek to walk in spirit and in truth. |
TheArchangel:How right could your idea of going to Heaven be if it differs from everyone's else's? BTW, what is your idea of going to Heaven? |
The APC fed on the Obama change slogan to deceive Nigerians in 2015 and Nigerians fell for the scam. They rolled out history to back Buhari's shrewd governance in the military era and how he was going to end the cankerworm that was corruption while providing jobs and ending the boko haram problem, 2years on we're worse off where we were in 2015. |
Mariinee:You sure look like you're really sweet indeed buh the apps on your face is too much nao. |
freshest4live:What chemical reaction kinetics are you talking about in drying? Drying is a physical process which does not involve reaction, basically what is removed is water. I'd appreciate if you enlighten me more on your perspective. |
Nice dryer. Finding ways to improve temperature control, while managing carbon emissions should make this process a big draw on a larger scale. Like the idea alot!! |
guterMann:You mean they really "casted" aspersions on their kinsmen?
|
His Excellency Chief Nyesom Ezebunwo Wike, the peoples governor. The governor delivering on his campaign promises, Rivers people are behind you. Keep working!! |
God rejection line apart every other thing highlighted by FFK is on point. The same Buhari called for the resignation of Umaru Musa Y'aradua (RIP), now the tables have turned yet he and his cronies in the northern cabal are clinging to power like its their birth right. Nigeria's democracy is a big joke. |
See where our oil money they go!! Meanwhile, Check the pics and you'll see almajiris without slippers and good proper even on the grand stage of this type of coronation. Tells you everything that's wrong with the north. |
They look dope together...Royalty!! Looks like I'm FTC. I dedicate this monumental space to all those slay Queen's hoping for a proposal, may y'all get the kinda man you've worked so hard for all your life |
kjhova:Your very correct!! They used to be one of the top performing Spanish teams in Europe back then. These days they battle with relegation |
Bloggers be lying back2back since 1914. It is true that senator Nzeribe is sick but this picture surfaced online few weeks back of the senator attending an event of one of his political protégés in the house of representatives. The people around him are not doctors but family and political associates. |
He who pays the piper dictates the tone. Lai is only saying what he's been asked to say. I do wish Buhari the individual well and hopes he recovers fully but as the president of the populous black nation in the world, all I want is for him to do the honourable thing and step aside, but if he dies trying to hold on to power at the detriment of over 180m people along with his cohorts, all well and good. Nigerians deserve better than this. |
Matic is exactly the type of player who thrives under Mourinho. Bus parking alumni reunion. |
