Remember the first time I went out to have dinner with a friend in Ilorin, after driving about for minutes we finally got to this nice place around Unity Round about. Men and brethren it was my first encounter with Stew soup. I was like oga why dem add stew na, but my guy was already eating meat and licking hand. I asked for egusi and that too had stew, okra had stew. Infact everything had stew except snacks and drinks.

It was a huge dilemma, i didnt know what to do, so i ate it after much persuasion from my host. Eventually I got used to the slippery feel of ewedu down my throat. Now I eat it regularly even in portharcourt. Ewedu with pomo, liver n all those other assorted's is irresistible.
