Don’t assume that every secretary sleeps with his/her boss, thou that’s people’s assumption, it doesn’t work that way, if you have the fear of God in you, you won’t try doing it. There are still good ones among us.

It depends on the secretary and her boss, (he could be a devoted pastor, or you Evg.).

Honestly I like this forum, I bookmark the page, have been reading the post for some days now, I really enjoyed all the posts.

Am a female secretary with OND qualification but will soon round up my B.Sc program in Business Admin by His Grace.

Thou the job/profession is not an easy one, but with determination and knowing your goal , you will consider all the challenges as the process of building up your carrier.

I add the following to make my work easy for me, no matter how difficult my boss might be;

1. Reminding him of his appointment: I do this by writing it on a note
pad and place on his table where he can see it as soon as he sit, I
don’t need to be telling him verbally cos he might forget, writing it he
come across the paper every minute.

2. Food: Immediately is 12:45pm, i go to him and asked ''Pls. Sir what do you care for
lunch?” and I will go and buy the food at any eatery of his choice.

3. Fruits: Every morning, when bringing out his beverages, I also add one apple, which he
Enjoys, if I forgot to serve him fruit he will be the one to remind me.

4. I don’t let customer bud him even when he is in the office, except the person is on appointment, when discussing with some of the visitors you find out that they come to submit business proposal/CV, I don’t let them see him except with a special note, I will handle the customer by telling them how things are being done in the org. or I refer them to the person in charge of what their org does, they usually leave with satisfaction, some will ask for your card I don’t give out my call card to vendors cos, some will be budding you with calls, or trying manipulate you, I will simile and tell him/her there is no need to follow up your proposal will be dealt with.

5. Closing: When I started working with him newly he doesn’t like me closing before him, so I observed that and wait for him to go before I close, at a point when I observed he is getting free with me, if I want to go I will go to him and asked with a smile/politely ‘’ pls. sir can I go with a staff bus”? he will say ‘’you can go’’ if he is in a meeting or on phone I will write it on a note pad and drop for him or out of the office I text him.

6. I resume before him and make sure the office is ready before he resumes, if he met me cleaning the office I will apologize for my lateness which he understands, thou this does not happen often, once in a long while.

7. I always put smile on my face, even when faced with some challenges.

My boss is a perfectionist I try my best to impress him and prove to him I can deliver.

I usually tell God that any character in me that will make my husband to regret taking my hand in marriage, He should expose it and make me to deal with it before time.

I don’t always find it funny when I call him he won’t take his calls,

Am a kind of person that if hurt I verbally express myself and after some minutes I forget all that has happened no matter what it is, I find it easy to forgive.

He said he is worried and disturbed that I react over nothing, I don’t like it when he doesn’t take my calls, or respond to my text messages, or be mute when chatting. With the excuse that ‘’am very busy’’ I will endure it but if it happened again I become mad.

At times if I call and the number is off, I will be angry the next thing I will go and send mail, he will call and explain that he saw my text/missed call then I have sent the mail and pour out my heart, when he read the mail he won’t find it funny.

LDR is pain, night mare, headche, heart break is not an easy task. there re times u will need to stay with your lover, he/she will not be there. loneliness comes in. if the parties involve is in the same country is good, but stays in different country my dear na war

LDR is the most difficult among all the relationships, you need to put enough energy for it to work, infact is nt advisable. but for married couples is acceptable as far as there is love, trust and communication, for unmarried is not easyoooooo cos one day u may hear another story that the man is married with 3 kids abroad and you are here waiting for him, he may even come down and marry you without you knowing he has kids and wife abroad

I have a friend that met a guy online since 2007 they have not seen each other face to face, they are still together, thou it wasn't rosy cos they go on and off, the lady is down here playing faithful lady what abt the guy.

Honestly is not easy, before u go into it THINK TWICE.

@jennykadry calling up old thread won't solve the problem on ground, lets focus on the present matter, i think everybody has past experience(s) she has admitted working on the matter she posted last yr, i believe you guys did justice to it.

She need to be encouraged and properly adviced you won't know wht this young lady is passing through in a foreign land, i feel for her.

she need to talk to somebody and nobody to talk to.

@poster i encourage you to be prayerful talk to God, He will see you through. Cast that burden unto Him there is nothing too heard for Him to do.

I advice you to overlook his actions he knows his actions hurt you that why he keep doing it so it will hurt you the more, just ignore him it will make him more jealous, pretend as if u don't see him and keep praying.

have it at the back of your mind, that marriage is a parcel that is the parcel you got, whether good or bad think of the way to make it rosy, don't be afraid of him be smart.

Am a victim, 2008 i made withdrawal with UBA machine in the bank, thou it was a mistake on my path.

I wanted to withdraw 41k, the first 40k came out and i slot my card again for 6k, when the 6k came out i took 1k out of it leaving the 5k in the machine and was arranging the 41k delayed a second the machine took back my 5k, i rush in2 d bank the woman in charge was telling me stories come today write a letter and all the rest, i got a lot of disappointment from them, they didn't revert the cash to my account till date.

2009 May i loose my May Salary to ATM fraudsters, after making withdrawal on Thursday on Friday when my salary was paid, before 30 mins i received debit alert, they cleared all the money in my account.

those guys are wickend, God will judge them.

So Sorry for this great loss, May God give you and family the strength to bear this lost.
