St. Frank
It is past due for there to be a cure to AIDS. Why not tell us the source of your extract or what reason you have to believe it is a cure for AIDS. Is there a scientific explanation for why the color changed? Has your extract been testes on Lab rats and then human trials yet? Has your cure defied the mutation capability of the virus which has been the main problems of other thought cures that have come before yours?

If your contributions are solid then you will find many with the interests.

ziddy:
HIV: the virus that causes AIDS is a 'designer' virus secretly engineerd by the Americans in their laboratories, in order to keep down the world population. But they will continue lying to the world that AIDS originated out of Africa because the virus was first introduced on the African continent (by American researchers) under the pretext of Medical aid etc in the late '50s. What better way to conceal the truth, than by cleverly twisting it around.
If it was introduced into Africa as to keep out poulation down, how come the first know explosion of the virus was in America in the 80's and not in Africa in the 50's?

The only substantiative argument similar to this is the possible contamination of polio vaccines in the 50's. In which case it was an accident and not a thought out plan.

The closes link to the virus is SIV found in Monkeys and Chimpanzees. There are 2 varied strains that occur seperately so it suggests that there were 2 seperate cross over events from primate to man. How the crossovers occured is to open to debate.

Sex with primate? Blood tranfer during primate hunting?

PoliticsRe: Bush Nightmare? by smoothjive(m): 2:33pm On Nov 09, 2007
I have a strong feeling bush regrets his decision now but can not bring himself to admit it But I think the more stupid are the people that allow for his will to contiue.
Foreign AffairsRe: Is George Bush Destroying What America Stands For? by smoothjive(m): 2:33pm On Oct 24, 2007
Perharps the low rating of the democratic led congress is brought on by the fact they can not achieve anything without a 2/3rd majority for which they need some republicans to overide our less than averagely intelligent president George W Bush.
PoliticsRe: NNPC To Be Divided Into Five Companies by smoothjive(m): 2:10pm On Aug 30, 2007
I think it is a wonderful idea.

I had complained in the past about the too many agencies that existed in my opinion and were redundant opportunities to give people positions.

However I think this one is much needed especially with the chance the single unit gave sole individuals to loot huge some of money usually unnoticed till a while after.

The functions of each unit are quite different and it creates checks and balance.

Worst case scenario is there are more positions created, and more opportunities to steal but the amount they can steal going unnoticed reduces significantly. If this is the worst case scenario. I like it.
PoliticsRe: Naira To Be Re-Denominated by smoothjive(m): 5:52pm On Aug 16, 2007
We would not deny Nigeria/Naira any support if we see changes that can sustain it. There is no increase or mention of an increas in production to back up the currency. Why not work on the production/more obvious problems first? There are many things we can use the money for that will produce immediate or short term improvements and this is not one of them.

Simple and short, it is not needed. Deal with the needs before the wants.
InvestmentRe: Effect Of Naira Redomination On Stock Market Investments? by smoothjive(m): 5:44pm On Aug 16, 2007
I am in agreement with MD dude and had already for seen the big bang being the fate of the Nigerian stock market but could not envisage how. Thank you for showing the how. Economic strategies work alike for many countries but Nigeria is very unlike many countries. As Seun said, put your seatbelt on. It is not pessimism but the story of Nigeria.

Even America has put it's seat belt on following their crazy real estate boom and bang that eventually trickled into the stockmarket and the auto market. How much more the Nigerian market. Not being derogatory but Nigeria and America have quite different laws and more importantly enforcements.

Above all why rush to spend more money to do it when we just spent a ton on new notes? Are there any short term gains? Even if there are long term gains, they will be in the "long term". Why rush?
Nairaland GeneralRe: What Do You Hate About Our Moderator? by smoothjive(m): 8:15pm On May 23, 2007
I doubt many people deal with Seun on a personal level, so it's his moderation you do not like not his attitude.

If you would not lie on the same pillow, then find a forum with your moderation preferences satisfied.

Even children deserve respect, however many of the rants on this thread do not demand respect, and yes many of the rants have been funny.

Seun has strict style of moderation but it has secured him close to a 100,000 members and very good sponsors, obviously he must be doing something right.

Seun has a reason for every action unfortunately he does not have the time nor owe to anyone to explain why. It would be courteous but not obligatory.

At least not too many hate him enough to leave his website.

Challenge to the haters, start your own forums and moderate them they way you like or better still the way others would like.
Music/RadioRe: My Regret -- By Banky W. by smoothjive(m): 7:55pm On Jan 24, 2007
I think Seun gave his honest opinion, especially since he went to high school with Banky.

You can buy his music off his website at http://www.bankyw.com/

I think Banky should have adopted the trend of using flashy cars, jewels and skimpy dresses in his video.
Car TalkRe: Best SUV For Nigeria? by smoothjive(m): 9:21pm On Jan 10, 2007
I would say, definately do not buy the cherokee for too many obvious reasons as stated by others, but you might want to consider the range rover sport as an alternative to the fully loaded range rover. It costs half the price for starters, carries the same brand name, and is just as tough and luxurious.

PhonesRe: Phone's Memory Card Corrupt by smoothjive(m): 5:28pm On Aug 24, 2006
I had a similar problem with my 2Gb Patriot SD card. It so happens the card has a lifetime warranty so I called the manufacturer and sent it back to them and it was replaced. You loose your info but at least u don't have to buy another one. Then again the prices keep falling to cost of shipping it back to them might not be worth it.
