THIS CIA DOG GOT FIRED BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T WANT TO SNIFF BOMBS This CIA dog got fired because she didn't want to sniff bombs Lulu didn't make the cut. But she stole our hearts anyway. Trainee CIA K9 bomb-sniffer Lulu had her career cut short after just a few weeks of training. No amount of motivation could keep Lulu on-task. Fortunately, her handler adopted her and she's now living her best life in the safety of a family home. In a series of 'pupdates' tweeted from the CIA's official Twitter account, followers were informed that black labrador Lulu would not be continuing K9 training. "Sometimes, even after testing, our pups make it clear being an explosive detection K9 isn't for them," the CIA said in the first of a Twitter thread. http://www.pulse.ng/bi/lifestyle/lifestyle-this-cia-dog-got-fired-because-she-didnt-want-to-sniff-bombs-id7483886.html?utm_medium=email&utm_source=newsletter&utm_campaign=daily-2017-10-22&utm_term=newsletter%20daily

Marriage itself is empty; it is the two people coming into the marriage that brings valuables into the marriage to make it beautiful. In this case, whatever you and your partner bring into the marriage is what the marriage will give you back. Just like the law of savings and withdrawal, it is the valuables that will make the love in the marriage last and even go stronger. This article talks about two points, one which is very common in every marriage and the second which is totally left out in marriages which is the main reason for bad marriages. 1 Love does not keep marriage together People always make the mistake of putting all their energy on love in marriage which is why marriages don’t go far before a divorce. It’s important to love the person you are getting married to but putting everything about your marriage on love is dangerous. Those couples that are divorced today were once in love, so what happened? This just shows that love doesn’t do it, as important as love is in marriage, it doesn’t keep a marriage together. That I love something doesn’t mean I won’t abuse that thing or hurt it, even it is more likely you hurt or abuse what you love than what you don’t love. What I am trying to say is that there is a very high probability to abuse or hurt something because you love it. Only the people we love and care about can hurt us, which means your partner will hurt you and you will hurt your partner because you love each other but because you believe the love that exists between both of you shouldn’t allow you hurt each other then you opt out after sometime when you are deeply hurt, broken and feel like you can’t take it anymore. But if you go into your marriage knowing that though you and your partner love each other deeply, the love can’t keep the marriage together it is then you will be opened to learn and know how you can keep your marriage 2 All you need is knowledge Knowledge is a familiarity, awareness, or understanding of someone or something, such as facts, information, descriptions, or skills, which is acquired through experience or education by perceiving, discovering, or learning. According to Wikipedia Facts, information, and skills acquired through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject. awareness or familiarity gained by experience of a fact or situation. According to oxforddictionaries.com Acquaintance with facts, truths, or principles, as from study or investigation. According to dictionary.com With all these wonderful definitions, ask yourself these questions Am I familiar with marriage? Am I aware of what marriage entails and can I cope? Do I understand what marriage is and do I understand my partner? Do I have the necessary skills and information to work through my marriage? Have I learned the necessary things for my marriage? Do I know the real principles of marriage? etc These questions are what you should answer genuinely because it gives you the knowledge you need for your marriage which is the only thing that can save your marriage. Knowledge will make you know what your marriage needs per time Look at this, for example, I love cars so much but I never take any time to acquire some knowledge about cars, how to use it? How to drive it? How to care for it? I just went ahead to buy a car. After buying the car, I never knew I am supposed to be checking the engine oil and top it up; all I do is just drive the car. You and I know sooner or later the car engine will pack up; some people’s marriage engine has already packed up because they have not been adding marriage oil to it That’s what happens when you don’t have the knowledge and you have to learn the hard way. Is your marriage going through storms presently? All that you need is to acquire the necessary knowledge about your marriage and you will be surprised how your marriage will turn for the better. http://www.lifeloveandmarriage.com/couples-arena/2-things-note-successful-marriage |

We have been deceive, tricked by electricity companies in our different zones about loads sharing , small power allocation to states it's all lies. Where I reside in port Harcourt, there is 22 to 24 hours of light daily but they only give out light for 4 hours most time less then 4 hours a day. And from my investigation carried out , if you give the man in the control room 6000 naira that area enjoy light all through the night till 9am in the morning. In this country we r paying for what we are not making use of , paying for darkness. And money goes into the big men and at the end of the day the power company say that they are not getting money for power they are generating. This money's goes to their contractors pockets and we the masses are in the receiving end. Nairalanders I wouldn't be able to say all. What do we do to move this country forward and also make it a better place for all of us? With what I just said have got proof. Read the rights below: 1. It is the customer’s right to be notified in writing ahead of disconnection of electricity service by the electricity distribution company serving the customer in line with NERC’s guidleines. 5. It is the customer’s right to prompt investigation of complaints arising from the customer’s electricity service disruption 6. It is not the responsibility of electricity customer or community to buy, replace or repair electricity transformers, poles and related equipment used in supply of electricity. 7. It is the customer’s right to contest any electricity bill. Any unmetered customer who is disputing his or her estimated bill has the right not to pay the disputed bill, but pay only the last undisputed bill as the contested bill go through the dispute resolution process of NERC. 8. Meet the 65-year-old Ugandan man with 176 children, 90 grandchildren, 13 wives and 10 girlfriends If you are looking for the ‘most fruitful’ man in Africa, you would have to travel all the way down to Uganda to meet 65-year- old Mustafa Magambo Mutone. He’s a proud father of 176 children, 90 grandchildren and has 13 wives and 10 girlfriends. According to Mustafa, he’s having financial challenges to train all of them and wants the Government to support some of his 176 children. “I have tried to feed my 13 wives and over 170 children and it is not easy. I request the Government to at least sponsor 30 of my children in secondary schools and tertiary institutions,” Mutone, a businessman and a resident of Kyaterekera trading centre in Kagadi district, said. He added that he has over 40 children in primary school and has plans to establish his own nursery and primary school in Kyaterekera sub-county. He says he has about 10 children in the universities (Makerere, Mbarara and Kyambogo), most of them on private sponsorship. Mutone has five pairs of twins among his children. His children will hit the 180 mark by the end of the year because six of his wives are pregnant. Mutone, a Mubwisi by tribe, is the chairman of Kyaterekera A village. He was born on January 1, 1952 in Kiryabwenju, Nyamiti parish, Muhorro town council in Kagadi district. His first marriage was in 1968 at 16 years of age. In an interview with Ugandan’s New Vision, he explained that he is still strong enough to marry more wives and bear more children, since he does not drink alcohol, smoke or take sugar. Mutone, who deals in produce (beans, maize and coffee), also owns a wholesale shop at Kyaterekera trading centre. He says some of his wives are working as midwives at Mulago Hospital and Mbarara Hospital and in Rwanda. “Two of my wives who gave birth to twins are in Kampala and Isingiro, working as midwives, while another two — Haniffer Kabasomi and Jane Tuhaise — work as nurses. My youngest wife is 25, and the eldest is 50, but I had about 10 girlfriends before I married officially and they all delivered the same year,” Mutone said. According to him, his first born child is 49 years old, while the youngest are four-year-old twins. He further noted that he has over 90 grandchildren. The grey-haired Mutone, said he has a special book where he records every child born whether within the country or outside, because he has some wives in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, and Burundi. He said one of the challenges he faces is the long distance as some of his women live in different parts of the country. ‘’I receive about 10 calls every day from different wives who want attention but I cannot be everywhere. I have seven wives in Kagadi alone,” he said. “I do not have any challenge of supporting them because some of them support themselves since they work,” Mutone said. Madina Tibasiima, 45, one of his wives who has nine children, said she has not faced any problems with a big family because most of her children are working as soldiers, civil servants, and nurses. She, however, said her younger children need school fees; some are in primary school and others in secondary school. One of Mutone’s sons, Kyaise Suwedi, 40, the Gombolola internal security officer of Kyaterekera, said his monthly salary caters for some of his brothers’ education. “We were groomed by our father to be responsible, have good morals and work hard. The only challenge is the big number of dependants of other wives who have children aged between four and 13 years,’’ Kyaise said. While another son, Muhamad Byarufu, aged 45, said he owns a business and helps pay school fees of some of his younger brothers. “We have a programme of starting up a school with our father, since some of my brothers are teachers. We will not find a problem hiring teachers and having pupils to teach. Some of my young brothers are in primary elsewhere and some children of our stepmothers are of school-going age. They can fill the classes,’’ he said. Two months ago, we also reported about a Ugandan lady identified as Mariam Nabatanzi Babirye who has 38 children, most of them twins, triplets and quadruplets and she gave birth to all of them at home. GEJ was a weak and incompetent president, his wife, Patience would have made a better leader – Nnamdi Kanu Leader of the Indeginous People of Nigeria IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has described former president Goodluck Jonathan as a weak and incompetent leader who did nothing for the South East region. In a recent interview with The Sun, Kanu said Jonathan’s wife, Patience, would have made a better leader. “Jonathan is my uncle, yes. I was one of those who said Jonathan’s tenure was more or less an Igbo presidency. It’s on record I said that. But, he knew I never liked his regime because he was weak and incompetent. I don’t support evil. If you do good, I will tell you, if you do bad, I will say it the way it is; I don’t curry favours. He was weak. I said I wish it was aunty Patience Jonathan who was in-charge, she would have done better. Look at where Jonathan dropped us today. He never finished building the East/West Road, but, he built railway line from Abuja to Kaduna, so they will love him. Who told you that if they did not love Zik, that they will love you?” According to Kanu, he does not hate the North as some people perceive him to be. “People think I hate the North; that’s not true, but the only thing is that I say things the way they are, I don’t know how to tell lies to curry favours. People do not know that I love (former presidents Shagari and Yar’Adua more than I love (former president, Nnamdi Azikiwe) Zik. I’m saying this because when we were young and were growing up, the only notable person that built any notable infrastructure I saw with my two eyes was Shagari. The Enugu/Igwuocha (that the white man named Port Harcourt) Expressway, was built by the National Party of Nigeria (NPN) government of Shagari and then you can travel with joy because it was smooth and very clean. Now, tell me who has ever done that since after Shagari, no, tell me. Which other infrastructure will you be proud of, nobody has ever done anything again.”he said. Travellers can walk straight from the flight to baggage claim area as biometric tunnels will do airport checks Dubai: For visitors or residents coming in to Dubai, a new face-recognition software in the offing at the Dubai International Airport will enable them to walk straight to the baggage claim area after deplaning without having to stop at passport control. British start-up ObjectTech announced that they will work with the Dubai government to install biometric tunnels that scan people’s faces as they walk to baggage reclaim. The "biometric border" walkway takes a 3D scan of people’s faces as they enter the airport and checks it against a digital passport using face-recognition software. Digital passport The digital passport, created for the system, contains information from the electronic chip in physical passports, as well as additional details including fingerprints, iris scans and face-recognition data. The company said that in April this year, they signed an agreement with the Government of Dubai for the project to develop digital passports for seamless entry at Dubai airports. “Dubai is committed to improve the lives of their citizens and visitors through technology,” Paul Ferris, co-founder and chief executive of ObjectTech said in a statement. “We are very excited to be a part of making that a reality.” London-based ObjectTech will be working in partnership with the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai to create the world’s first ‘gate-less border’, combining the power of biometric verification and the immutability of block chain technology. When contacted, the GDRFA did not comment on the company’s statement. Pre-approved If this project is completed, passengers arriving at Dubai airport will be able to step off their flight and walk straight to baggage reclaim via biometric verification tunnels — allowing them to be registered into the country using a pre-approved and entirely digitised passport. Seamless entry at airports has been an idea for many years, but it is the advent of the identity trust framework provided by block chain technology which is enabling this to become reality. Earlier this month, Dubai announced that passengers departing from Dubai International Airport can now use their smart phones at the smart gates instead of their passports as part of a new service called Smart UAE Wallet. The new facility is expected to reduce departure clearance time to between nine and 12 seconds per passenger. The UAE Wallet app can be used in Terminal 3. It will be operational in all terminals after the wallet is linked with other airlines. http://m.gulfnews.com/news/uae/emergencies/face-recognition-system-at-dubai-airport-soon-1.2044170 |
