junkerhill: what exactly are you worried abt? Are you u worried abt the interview, or your incomplete documents or the CO that will be interviewing you, or that the visa myt get finished or that u won't be able to source for fund till april? What exactly are u worried abt?

But while being my interview in April there is about 66,000 selectee did the interview as well.. So do u think I shall have chance to get the visa ?

I had my Interview yesterday Feb 19 in the US embassy in Yaounde. Cameroon,
I arrived Yaounde Friday to collect my Medical cert, there I met a guy and a girl who where also scheduled the same day as I was at 9 and 10 am respectively. I was scheduled at 11. I decided to stay Yaounde till the D-day
Yesterday I arrived the embassy some few minutes after 9 am, while being checked in I saw the lady I met in the clinic leaving the embassy, breathing out seriously in relief, she told me she already had her interview even before her interview time and it was successful. I realised then that I would've been interviewed even before the scheduled time. (No wahala)
I descended down to the interview hall and on my way I also saw the guy I met in the clinic running out as fast as he could. It appeared he didn't photocopied some of his documents. (Panic Attack to?? No I cast and bind)
I went in, collect a piece of paper with a code, and waited for my code to show up on the electric board right infront where people sit.Subsequently it did, I paid the $330 =174,000CFA, there I summited my documents and continue the waiting for about an hour and half. I was called upon to give my finger print in another counter. around 1:45 pm or less, my code flashed on the electronic board, and was directed window7
THE INTERVIEW

CO:I will take your finger print again to check if these are you documents
Me: Ok
CO: put you first finger on the machine
Me: I did
CO: ok
CO:I see you a a graduate in blablabla, from the univeristy of blablabla
Me: yes
CO: Ok, what do you want to do when u arrive US
Me: I want to continue to masters in blablabla
CO: Ok, do you have any relative in US
Me: No
CO: ok, the person you'll live with in US, who is he to you
Me: its a coursin.
CO: ok, (removed the yellow shit, wrote on it) CONGRATULATION.SCome this day and collect your visa
Me: Ok, thank you Sir


The guy I talked about was put in administrative processing. Please prepare WELL BEFORE ENTERING THE EMBASSY. And Also PRAY.

Kunlexymoore: @ Nero XP, I think I need to correct this fact you just stated. From my observation so far, those that become current in a particular month gets their 2NL like 6-7 weeks before the interview (this is to allow room for adequate preparation like medicals, police report and other docs) e.g those current in April should be expecting their letter this month. Your case i.e December/January is quite different as CN 10,000 was maintained for both months. So guys (current for April) be expectant!

junkerhill: my brother, I know you have reasons to be worried bt I must tell u that everybdy is giving equal opportunity to prove himself at the interview irrespective of the case number.

I called KCC by 11th of Feb same day of publishing the cut off number .. I was asking about 2nd NL ..

They told me it will be within 2 weeks from 11th Feb that's mean this period shall end on 25th Feb 2013...

So I think the 2NL shall not be later than 25th Feb 13 for current April

I wish I could add anything to you..

nero xp: For those waitn for their 2NL,jst hav patient nd it wil land lyk ours landed.if u're current for April,as in u became current dis month,pls expect ur 2NL next month,because doz dat became current last month,most of dem re yet to receive their 2NL which wil land dis feb.so u guys dat jst became current on dis new bulletin shuld be expectin ur 2NL next month,dats hw it was in my own case wen I became current on DEC,received 2NL on JAN,nd interview scheduled on march...

If your interview by Next March and your 2nd letter received on 11 jan .. That's mean the second letter of current April must be by February. This month

You still have visa available for you because my ,My Case number was 92@@ and was current since Nov 2012 but only sent my forms in December 2012 , received 2NL January 11, 2013 and interview schedule for March 2013

I have questions please help me to find the right answer for DV lottery

If the total number of selected on 2013 is about 100,000 selectee .. And if only about 50,000 shall got the visa in real .. Which was only about 34000 last year (2012)

My questions are :

1. Is the 100,000 selectee numbers is including the all members of the family ? I mean if number xxxxx win that count 4 if the family of 4 members and these 4 count from 100,000

2. If my case number is 11,000 and current on April , is it possible that I have no available visa for me because its late ? I mean it already issued visas more than 3500 before me which is the max number of visas is only 7 % per each country.
