wc:Honestly I don't think FSB has business with Japan. You have to apply in your own. Its called the mext Japanese scholarship. The deadline is June 30the. This is the website. Make sure you read the guidelines. Its different for PG and UG. after completing the form you will have to go to the Japanese embassy in Abuja and submit it. http://www.ng.emb-japan.go.jp/culture.html I remember during the first stage the woman also mentioned that she isn't sure if Japan will send slots so we should choose another.......Japan was originally my first choice but thank God I changed it to Russia......I hope this helps |
farulz:FSB has called the nominated Russians since ending of march. We have done the interview with the Russians, we are just waiting for the final call to tell us the people that were finally selected by the Russians......I have no idea about UKRAINE |
Damhez90:A number of people have |
Damhez90:I dont know sorry, I'm not for Hungary ...just relaying an information I heard. Maybe they will try again tomorrow. But my guess is that if you choose Hungary as first choice in FSB Bea form and you got an acceptance email from Hungary , you should be fine. |
JoshXe1:Since this morning, but you must have first received an acceptance email from Hungary. But I think its mainly for PG |
FSB has started calling nominated Hungary applicants |
HZwriters:Your welcome! Happy for her |
HZwriters:Someone received this, an acceptance. While another got a rejection. That's all I know. You should have received an email by now.

True. How I see it corruption can never leave Nigeria. Like there is no cure for the late stages of cancer in human beings at this level of technology, there is also no cure for curroption in Nigeria at this stage as Nigeria is already deep into it. Also as scientists anticipate a cure coming in the the next half a century when technology is better or so, the same I see for Nigeria. And only a "saint" will heal Nigeria So on that note Buhari shouldn't put 80 percent of his focus on direct approaches on curbing corruption. He got it all wrong., he is trying to find a short term approach which is utterly stupid because people will just find new and better ways to embezzle. He should focus more on our economy and if he wants to curb corruption he should try it in the long term way. There is no way to cure Nigeria in 4 years unless you want to kill every single politician in Nigeria. And I mean kill because even if they are removed from power they will still have connections and find low key ways. And killing EVERY single politician is something an inhuman bastard would do. So on to the long term ways..., he doesn't know that technology can curb embezzlements. Nigeria is still in the analogue age, 99 percent of government offices use paper and file cause it makes things easier for them to embezzzle. Other developed countries and even Ghana use technology to technology to track all the money going in and out of anywhere into any account. That's why 95 percent of embezzlers are caught almost instantly. They just log into the systems financial account and see all the records. Nigeria is yet to reach that stage and that is why I say curroption can't be cured now. Also Education is a very long term method, improve education create more universities , employ people that are digitalized and only job is to track curroption. And lastly, improve this sicken economy. I don't blame the politicians for embezzeling, it is because the economy is already rotten. Imagine this, your holding a drink in your hand and your eaten gala or burger or whatever and then you enter a very dirty room. After your done eaten won't you not bother to find the dustbin to throw the rapper inside instead you will dump it on the ground. But if you entered a very clean room, your conscience will tell you to dispose it properly....simple logic, you enter a dirty place you make it more dirty, you enter a clean place, you keep it clean. Same here the economy is useless, sorry to say, so they do what they want but if the economy was as good as let's say, even south Africa the level of corruption now will be 50 times less. Improving education economy and technology can't happen in 4 years, and curbing curroption can never happen with short term methods. So Buhari should just face more pressing matters, take the long term methods start improving on them, create a stepping stone for future presidents and let them finish the job and kill two birds with one stone. Thank you. |
mamawin:Yup. Just a high school graduate actually |
gud4dbest:I'm not into politics. Hell, I hate politics, especially when men argue about it. Cause you know why, they all do the talking yet no action to stop what is happening and when they, if they get into power they join the damnated people they were insulting. Mr gud4dbest, I saw your post and was obliged to retaliate. FYI, there is no saint in Nigeria. Even the Buhari that is fighting curroption which seems like all he is doing forgetting about the economy he is meant to improve, also has cubwebs in his closet. Now don't get me wrong, I don't support anyone I have no business in politics, it irritates me. But as much as it hurts to say this, Johnathan is the best president we have ever had. Yes during his time there were a lot of corroptions, its allowed. No one is a saint. He went into power and met people that have already immensed themselves illy in power, people that were already drunk with power. Maybe the same people that helped him get into power. The truth is, he couldn't do anything. Johnathan had the best in mind for Nigeria but he was to quiet to act against corroption . and yes that was very bad of him. Constantly signing bills without seeing through them if they were actually completed and bla black. Imagine yourself in that position. And Buhari is much stronger than him that's why people fear him. But don't get me wrong I'm not supporting anyone. I'm a realist I say the hard truth. Now on to why Johnathan was our best president, during his time there were a lot of cure option but yet no body was really hungry. Businesses were going, normal citizens could easily get their hands on contracts, everyone was happy . their business was flowing and everything. Don't quote me wrong when I mean everyone I don't mean everyone, obviously not everybody can be happy, not everybody can have a job.. You know what I mean. But can you say that presently. During this Buhari's regime there is no money anywhere, businesses have stopped, I bet you yourselve have noticed it somehow. People are now more than ever migrating outside to make living for themselves and that's why the dollar rate pounds rate yen rate and so on keeps on skyrocketing and Naira detorating because there is high demand for outside currencies, which I will talk mor on later. Now tell me, will you rather live in this sunken place with no money no business or you will rather live in a place with corroption where you know that"everyone" gets a win. Where you as a normal citizen let the politicians do their embezzlements and you will still get your own personal business flowing . Now another reason . during Johnathan time the dollar rate was steady between 170-190. Yes it was 150 before that but Johnathan had his downsides to. Now look at it dollar rate has even picked up to 400 during this short time of buhari now its on 320, I think. What does this make us, a very poor country. Imagine this, the very rich people in america will just rich when he goes to America, the rich guys will look average in america, the average guys will look poor in america and the poor guys, oh oh, they will be worse than beggars in america. And the beg gets here, they won't survive a day there. Can you even imagine, people outside the country that return to Nigeria become billioniares overnight. They will go out do business, come back convert the foreign currencies into naira and become ten times richer than they would have a year ago If they did the same. What does that say for Nigeria. That our economy is bleeped, sorry to say. There is no money anywhere. I'm just imagining now if somehow I was poor in Nigeria, zero naira in my account and I travel out with some connections do some good leg business and make up to 100k dollars in one month, come back to Nigeria that's about 40 million naira. I put everything in one account that was zero naira before then say I want to become a politician. And even worse say I'm joining PDP. that will be the worst mistake of my life cause you know it to. I'm going to be probed really. And even though I say I did legal business outside the country they will simply say a politician paid for my travels to pick up or launder the 40 million for him or her. When really it was good business. Also imagine this, this one is for the parents that want good education for their children . a year ago a parent sponsoring a child with a school fees of 20k dollars was paying roughly little over 3 million naira now the parent has to pay more than times two which is roughly over 7 million naira a kid. What of those with school fees of 40k dollars or more or those in the UK. This is making things hellish for parents withdrawing their kids back cause of dollar rate. Now you will be saying why can't they just school in Nigeria. But in your heart you know that there are more students graduating from high school in Nigeria than all the universities can accommodate . in fact the total amount of students that get denied admission in a year is more than the total number if universities can accommodate. Talk less the shitty educational standards in Nigeria. See why I'm saying Johnathan was the best, and deep down you know he was. Now on to electricity, power and fuel. I don't need to talk much of this, you already know this. There has been fuel scarcity since December 2015 till now that is April and still counting . that is 5 months ., the longest Nigeria has ever experienced. And it doesn't seem like this fuel scarcity is going any where. People are already getting used to it. During Johnathan time there were obviously fuel scarcity, but highest 1 month and its gone if it ever took that long. No one is perfect but this is to bad. Now onto electricity, during Johnathan time I could proudly say I was getting constant electricity on an average of 19 hours per day in my area. But now if I see light for a total of 3 hours in one week I will be thanking God. On to security, yes book haram was a big hit, buhari is dealing with the situation ten times better than Johnathan did. But mind you you are forgetting little details. Before Johnathan was in power the rate of kidnapping and local crime was skyrocketing in Nigeria. But when Johnathan was in power it really diminished so I say that he also did a good job in security to but far from excellent. Remember I'm not here to support anyone or to attack Buhari, hell I don't even care about who is in power. We've been tricked by many past and present presidents. Johnathan is far from perfect in fact he is far from okay. But until we see something good from Buhari that actually makes our economy better, Johnathan is the best president we have ever had. |
mamawin:Hmm, I agree that this is another method in solving it. Using your method I can say that 96 is also correct but so is 40. Nothing wrong with my method, if there is am yet to see anyone prove me wrong. The reason you gave is void, each line can't be on its own. But don't quote me wrong, your method is very correct might even be more authentic than the method I used. But who knows there might be two answers to this question ![]() I still stand that the former method of getting 96 can't be used, that's why I thought 96 was wrong and had to find another method which lead me to 40. But clearly from this method 96 is correct so is 40. ![]() |
olastrange:Lol. I want to study engineering. But I am lowkey getting interested in computer science/programming. Who knows what the future holds. ![]() |
olastrange:Yup there are so many things around the 5., but they all follow the rules. 5+0=5, 4+1=5, 5log 5 base 5 = 5....and so on....they all follow the laws. Just saying ![]() |
olastrange:If you have taken the SAT or GRE OR GMAT. Then you will understand what I'm saying, especially in the passages section. You went for the most obvious way, which will be in the options and you will fail it. If you then check the answers, they will tell you why your answer was wrong saying that, the option you choose was never insinuated in the passage or the option you choose was never stated in the equation, don't be the stereotypic John(if your using Princeton review) and go for the obvious or the option that follows your conclusion if it was never insinuates in the question. Solve with what you have. And this is a typical GRE question. Mind you I'm just a High school student, ss3(12the grade) ....I have taken the SAT and not the GRE. but my brother has taken the GRE, so I read and also finished his GEE books out of boredom. I live on arguments. I love proving people wrong ![]() |

And at olastrange you still don't tell me how my method is wrong. You even helped me and went on to say that if you add the "imaginary numbers" to the shown numbers and use MY METHOD, I will get 96. Which shows my method is independent. So why add the so called imaginary numbers when you will get the answers you need when there are no signs or proof of a missing number. In maths or science....you don't add unnecessary variables, most especially if they will change the outcome. you use your law in the shortest way there is, avoiding new variables that will be hard or might not be able to be proven to be related to your cause. Even in organic chemistry, when counting to name the organic compound, you use the shortest chain and not the longest ![]() |

So what if instead of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 4,5,6,7, it was just random numbers and not a sequence(you grab), will you be able to use your so called missing numbers. In maths, science, chemistry, the method you use or the hypothesis you come up with is meant to be independent of the variables, in this case numbers. Your method of bringing in "imaginary related" numbers is dependent on the numbers already there. Once you change a number in the question your method gets bleeped but mine will still stand. In science if your method can only solve one particular set of variables in this case numbers, then it is no method or theory it remains your derranged hypothesis. And still there is no proof that there are missing numbers. Beat that! ![]() |
Juxtified:Yess you have to think outside the box. But your thinking outside the box has to be in line with the rules and laws of what your trying to solve. Scientists have to think outside the box to solve a problem which gives them a hypothesis.,.After coming up with an hypothesis they still have to find ways to prove it without unreasonable doubts, using the already stated laws, except if they are deducing a law itself, which at 90 percent of times its linked to a previously stated law for example laws of indices is linked to laws of logarithims, thus making it a theory. Or else people will cast the hypothesis aside. Check, everything in this world is linked Mind you thinking outside the box occurs at different levels. Your thinking outside the box as a scientist or a 20+ person will be different from that of a ninth grader. For example give a steroetypic ninth grader to solve this; find X, 2^x=30. A stereotypic ninth grader will get his calculator started and start punching in values. But to slice this question, it will be considered thinking outside the box for him. He will have to turn it into logarithim. Log 30 base 2=X. To find X all you will have to do is find log 30 base 2. But if you were to give a 12th grader he wouldnt need to "think outside the box" cause he is already accustomed to the method. So my point is even tho the ninth grader thought outside the box to solve it , he thought of another theory that will help him solve it, thus a mathematical relation that is proven already, same with what scientists do. You can't just think outside the box, come up with a method and not know how to prove it. This is the first topic of Biology I believe, scientific methods. You say your a maths professeur, so I believe you cant just say my answer is wrong without proving it wrong, like i did yours. You say my answer is wrong prove it. I outlined the steps I used to get 40, and it is very much authentic. You can't just say my answer is wrong without telling me why it is wrong. I look forward to hearing you proving my answer wrong until then it is very correct. Goshh I love arguments ![]() |

All you guys saying that this is quantitative reasoning and not mathematics, you need help. ......Biko what is quantitative reasoning, no be maths? Quantitative reasoning is just an aspect of maths or branch of maths made for mostly younger ones to be able to think fast and look for means to solve a problem fast , to prepare the mind for real mathematics. Everything name maths, quantitative reasoning oo, some parts of physics oo, further maths oo, everything naa branch of maths. |
SANDOSKI:Answer is 40 not 96 4+1=5 2+5+4+1=12 3+6+2+5+4+1=21 8+11+3+6+2+5+4+1=40 Just add all the left hand sides at each step. There is no equation on top of 4+1, so there fore there is nothing to add to 4+1, so 4+1=5. That is the correct answer and not 96. In maths 1+1 is always equals to 2. Therefore you can not bring in external numbers, or imaginary numbers and say it is the missing numbers, that are not mathematical related, when there are no spaces for them.(no missing gaps) You always solve with what you are given, what you see and not what you bring if they are not mathematically related like for example if x=2². We can bring in log and say log2 X=2 because they are mathematically related. In the above there is no proof that the so called missing numbers are mathematically related to the shown numbers therefore you solve with what you have |
