Elxandre:SAT is entirely different. Plus not all schools in America require SAT. Plus you can rewrite SAT up to 6 times a year |
This is credible bull shyte!!! Nigeria is still far from from real education standard. From a scale of 1 to 10, having post utme and jamb was a 0.9 , now scrapping post utme and leaving jamb is a 1.2 over 10. This is "minimally" better than the former. But with a lot of issues. This will only favour more connection. Now why Nigeria is still far. We spend 3 years in high school preparing for WASSCE, and the passing score is 5 credits , can you imagine! While we spend barely 2 months preparing for JAMB and POST UTME and that determines our outcome in admission. That is outright rubbish. Really with whats going on, if i would have known i would have played in class from ss1 to ss3 and scrapped all my Ass and gotten just C's and i will have been set for admission. What they are saying is that there is minimal credit for something you spend your whole life preparing for. They should give more credit to WAEC. Personally, they should scrap Jamb to, each University should create their own standards. Whether part of it entails you to write an entrance exam. Even some countries like Japan, Russia require entrance exams, Even America requires SAT. But maximum credibility is given to school leaving certificates like WAEC, IGCSE,. your transcripts, essays, testimonials, leadership qualities. I mean Nigeria should pick this up. Arent they wondering what they do wrong that people perform more when they go abroad to study. More emphasis should lie on the real deal not some shitty exam that the smart people get low marks in. |
samlan:Same here |
sirnicson:drop yours |
kennedy09:drop your email |
sirnicson:No you shouldn't be. Congrats on getting Japan. Just go with all your documents |
mostyg:Imagine this, your migrating to a new mtn clique or whatever they call it. The last time you did it was a year ago and the code you used was *731#. Then you meet an mtn agent cause you can't remember fully but you have an idea. The agent tells you *713#. You are skeptical about it and you meet three more agents and they tell you the same the same thing *713#. Won't you just think that your the one that's wrong and since its coming from a direct agent they must be correct. Mind you. It was in abbreviation KIV not in full country name. So its not His fault at all. He ain't no agent, ain't His job to be kramming airline code names. The agents are meant to be the ones telling him the correct things. After he and his mom went to several agents they kept in saying that it was correct. So maybe after many trials they finally thought they were the wrong ones. Put yourself in those shoes. People that have spent their entire lives in that job tells you that your wrong, won't you think your wrong. This a points his lawyers can use. Its entirely not his fault. They should sack all those incompetent agents... |
wiloy2k8:Read the full article before judging. Obviously a lawyer won't take a case for him, if the case is dumb with loopholes. It is the airlines agent's duty to give guidance to the customers. And after they re met the agents they still told them that it was correct. Even during the departure he brought the attention to the agents at the airport, they made a call to the agent that gave him to clarify , and the agent told the agent at the airport in Lagos that it was correct. The agents at airport in Lagos started calling him troublesome and so. So clearly its the airlines fault , definitely not his. Obviously a lawyer won't take a case for him, if the case is dumb with loopholes. This is the missing part in the full article after they saw the ticket. Its people like you that loose cases. If you were the lawyer for the defendant(eygpt air) now, you would have missed this fact and they will turn it against you and you will loose. Always look for full facts first before you talk. Someone posted the link earlier so you have no excuse. This is the missing part after they saw the ticket We immediately brought this discovery to another ticketing officer’s attention who was seated at Counter 2, as we were informed that his colleague, Mr. Nzan, had stepped out of the office. This ticketing officer restated that the ticket was full economy and for Kiev, Ukraine with all the segments confirmed. However, we remained unconvinced, given that our prior experience indicated that the airport code for Kiev, Ukraine would usually read “KBP”. ziggy3579:Wowww, but I'm sure they will hesitate to do that to a white man |
Chaii. Politicians know how to make compelling lies, they will analyse everything and make zero effort to do anything......Very soon now Buhari will take this report to UK and Switzerland to recover the millions of US dollars that were laundered there to show them that they are making big progress with socioeconomic developments and those white guys go chop the lies(no racism) with water and garri sef.......In the next two years now government go say they are donating one billion hens to families so that they will cultivate their own eggs ![]() |
HZwriters:I'm not sure but I think they are still waiting on interview update |
ceekay214:So sorry, must be devastating.....You can call FSB and inform them of the scenario and tell them that you are willing to fight for a spot for nomination for your second choice country if you put any, if there is no hope for you for Russia again. Cause we've already had our interview. |
DrND:As far as I know, they are only done with nomination for Russia, China, and Hungary.....they are yet to call for other countries although slots for other countries are usually small, between 3-15-20 slots. Countries like Ukraine, morocco, Serbia, Egypt, Cuba, S.korea,Algeria and the rest. So don't loose hope. Following last threads some were called as late as August.....so there is still hope. Also if FSB doesn't fill slots for a particular country they might call someone with also high qualifications but didn't qualify for the country he/her choose to fill in another countries slot and also some people might reject the scholarship last minute so they will have to fill in the slot at last minute with someone else....so Again there is still hope for everyone even though it might be little. |
What's happening to Turkey........Mendokusai! ![]() |

chalimanco:Requirements change for each year. This year was only WAEC, last year was both NECO and WAEC, I have never seen GCE used before but I might be wrong.....but I doubt if FSB might want to stand back in standard as each year is tougher with also an increase in applicants. So they might want to keep it as only WAEC. I even anticipate them increasing requiring distinction from 5 to 7 or so. |
ifeanyivincent:I will post it here if I hear or get any news |
vicky1lovy2:I take back my words, sorry. ![]() |
ChiomaMC:Check your email |
g8662:Sorry, I later realized that you still have to pay 200 dollars agent fee to apply but that is after you have already gotten your admission letter and scholarship if any.......So guys do apply. But the scholarship for CIU only covers full tuition, but accommodation is quite cheap. So you pay for meals, transport, flight, accommodation, health insurance, but they are all quite okay not up to Canada, UK and US fees. Also the full tuition is awarded to Nigerians on a one in every 50 applicants, so its very competitive...and also every "admitted" applicant is guaranteed a 50 percent off tuition fee if he doesn't get the full tuition. |
I don't think anybody has yet |
vicky1lovy2:Why do we have to pay to apply. Fraud! |
ChiomaMC:I have replied your email. Or you can drop your contact |
farulz:09094268637. What country did you pick |
Has anyone heard from Turkey concerning the Turkiye Burslari scholarship |
UromOta:I guess you will still be given a chance. Cause during the main interview session I had, they explained the difference between electrical and Power engineering and electronic and communication engineering. I changed from the former to the latter during the main interview. .....but it all depends on the country |
Youpele52:No, but it must be in a general hospital. But the only thing is that each country has its own designated tests it requires for example for Russia we were required to do just three x ray, hepatitis B and HIV. Other countries may add more or require a different combination. So there is no way you will know. |
farulz:I don't grab? Comparism?...where you also called? |
HZwriters:They asked questions related to your course and current affairs. No idea about hungary |
Youpele52:Haha if only FSB paid for us. Get ready to spend close to 20k for everything, medical report, authentication and local transport |
Silumi:Yeah exactly. Same here. ....what country did you finally pick and UG or PG? |
