It is not. FSB has no business with turkey anymore. To be applicable for the turkey scholarahip you must have applied for the turkey burslari scholarship straight on their website,. The scholarship, which is fully sponsored by The Turkish government, even the 200 dollars monthly stipend will be sponsored by the Turkish government. So the Nigerian government no longer has business with the Turkish Bea program since it will be fully sponsored by the Turkish,thus it is no longer bilateral. It is unilateral fully on the turkish. The deadline to apply was April 5th .the nomination will be done by and only the Turkish. Be checking your email frequently for a congratulation letter or a rejection letter. If you get a congrats letter, it wouldn't be over yet. You will still be finally interviewed by the Turkish were the final nomination will be made.

Some people picked turkey as their first choice for the FSB Bea scholarship, which was a huge mistake, if they didn't apply for it straight as the FSB doesn't nominate candids for turkey. At the first stage during the first exam we took at anambra, the FSB woman told us to remove turkey and apply directly by ourselves,but only few people were there yet and only few people heard the announcement.

This might give some people hope. The woman at FSB told us before we had the russian interview today that FSB will nominate a total of 210 or 310(one of the two, didn't hear the number well) people for this Bea ish,. That is, a total of that for all the countries combined. She didn't mention the countries . She just said it randomly and was like we should be happy and consider ourselves lucky, that out of 3000(both UG and PG) people that applied we were nominated as part of the 210/310 that will be and was nominated by FSB. That our fate now lies in the hands of the Russians that will finally select the 60 people they need. Mind you FSB nominated 120 people for Russia. But I think only about 90 people were present for the interview. So only 90 or 190 nominees left if the slots don't increase., or if they don't inform FSB of the new influx in slots, if there are any. Hope this helps

No idea. I don't work with FSB. I am also applying for this Bea fish only that I was called for Russia. I just siphone any information I can from people, past threads and google

I have no idea for sure. But based on the fact that people are sent to Cuba every year, I would say Cuba always gives out slots. whether many, few or intermediate, I have no idea. But I think Russia gives the most , little over 60 slots.

I haven't seen any Japan tho. And "rumor" has it that Japan has stopped giving out slots

Maybe they re called your friend because he didn't answer the first time because I actually think they are done. As we were told today by FSB that FSB selected 112 people and 60 people will finally be selected by the Russians during the main interview.

But again maybe they aren't done calling the 112 people.

Well, right now we are just doing medicals and authentications. .....Everyone I have come accros are UG for Russia. I don't know if they are done nominating or if its per country

We are on the same boat. I don't have a police report or medical certificate and its to late to do either.
But I got this from FSB website. It says that it will be required after nomination. Does after nomination mean now or the final nomination

Anyone know if you must go with your medical certificate to the interview if you are nominated. I'm confused because when FSB called they were like come for your medical certificate, the network wasn't clear. Are they doing it for us this year......I don't have my medical certificate yet, if we are meant to cone along with it, will I be disqualified
