surveyor1: #dancing # abi aunty Jenny. Man no go kill himself. Is it easier to score higher in IELTS @australia than outside Australia? Just thinking of how to go about the PR when someone arrive. Thanks aunty Jennyi think d merit of doin it in Oz if any would reflect only in d speakin test . .d other tests are simply ur effort. .eg, d day i did my speakin, d examiner came by 3pm instead of 2pm cos of a heavy downpour and traffic, yet he squeezd all d 20 of us that were supposed to speak that day into d say allotted timeframe, very bad my brother. .infact they were even rushin so much to accomodate d pple that missd theirs and were askd to cum that day. . .naija things. .very outrageous and unacceptable, yet nobody will complain. .if u do, them go gv u some awkward eyeballing. . . As for groove and babes, bros better go get an iron pant with locks and gv d keys to ur pastor/imam cos dis ethiopian and SA chicks go reduce ur cucumber to carrot by d time u are done 'surveying' their kittykat |
jennykadry: @Lawland snowburn: Dear Ms Jenny, how's WA 2day? jennykadry: @Lawlandam already over there in spirit |
jennykadry: @LawlandDear Ms Jenny, how's WA 2day? I already booked a flight to Perth, Qatar Airways, #225,500 but had to reschedule to 7th Jan cos my momma is comin in frm Sydney in d next couple of wks, she's on AusAid (University of Newcastle) and her program just ended. .so we see here in Abj and celebrate Xmas and once we say Happi new yr, i pack my bags and am off. |
kindly suggest schools that are affordable and schools that will accept between $2000-$3000 school fee part payment prior visa issuance. BSC to be precise
$2000- $3000? Down Under? Is dis some kind of joke? Abi folktales by moonlite/ twilight folklore? Ehhmm bros, u sef check am nah. . .even in Ghana, u cant pay dat low fee as an int'l undergrad stdnt. . .if u want tuition free skools, then try Finland, Norway, Holland, am nt sure if Sweden still allow. .but bear in mind that @ undagrad level in these countries, d medium of instruction is d native language, so u got to learn d lingua. .its only frm postgrad dat they use eng. Oversea education is capital intensive, believe that!. . Shalom! |
lawland: good to know.. You really booked cheaper... What's your take off date? I will be at the airport by this time tomorrow.. I don't even know what to expect...safe trip bro! I got a cuz headin ur way too, same course, same institute, just tryin to help him arrange his visa app and other lil details. . .so, be easy man. Arrividerci! |
. . . and Rudd retires. . . adios hombre |
ferdimako: Okay.I'll just do it in Lagos.u can come down here in Abj and do that. .its nt done in FCT gen hospitals, u do that @ public health centre @ Area 3 Garki, near UniAbuja liason office. .there's another public health centre @ Garki 2, u can check them out as well, remember Garki2 not Area2 garki, kinda close to the library... Shalom! |
lawland: its for PR... lawland: its for PR... lawland: its for PR...ok. . .in that case, still on border protection tinz. O nwero ife mgbawa mere ike. . |
. . .by the way, is that 886 visa not a form of Temporary visa? Cos if it is, mehnn na time wasting oo even if it is still available IMO |
Obviously, my discovery was a product of research, so ur late. arrrrrrrrrrrrrrg! *so angry right now* Look who"s encouraging research. Bravo! Mr "know it all". After going tru ur posts on this thread,i noticed you"ve asked some of the dumbest questions, like "what seat position should i select in a plane﹑ what foodstuffs should i take along on board my flight to australia" et al.... i guess google was on strike when u asked those obviously idiotic questions. U lack the intellectual sagacity to encourage me into researching and it"ll be in ur best interest to back off my updates on this thread or u risk i unleashing my intellectual arsenals on u. ur a megalomanic, congenital and undoubtedly an egoistic fool.Am nt good at warning people twice.
eerhmm Oga, i beg u in d name of whatever/whomsoever u fear, abeg, take am easy, do not cause any ruckus on dis platform, u know say harmattan dey too. . .thank u sir 4 ur undastanding |
jennykadry: Phew there are heaps of security jobs, I mean heaps but you have to do a certificate course for it. There used to be a fast track course for 6 weeks (I think it's still on) after which you can apply to any security company and get a job. Some of them that work in the hospital get up to 30 dollars an hourwow! Am interested o! A good friend of mine based in Swiss now was tellin me just last wk of such tickets. .they use it then in UK to get work @ clubs as bouncer and as guards at Nottinghill carnival and other shows and events and d pay was ok. .though he said he didnt last cos he beat his gf and was charged 4 assault and was stripped of dat ticket. . .so he now did forklift ticket to work in cold rooms, malls and construction sites b4 he later moved to Swiss. . once again am interested. .@ all @ all na winch*. .man gats to survive |
lawland: Hello guys, told u guys, d border is closing real soon This Abbot administration is nt ur friend. .Border Protection tinz. . .hahaha. . .all iz well |
ferdimako: I guess HAP ID wasn't needed much that June period and I wasn't asked. I think it is now Embassy needs it as a package. When I queried Zankli, they said they thought I had it,so I don't think they had the clue.Yeah Zankli did send it, may be after my visa lodgement I will deal with my CO on that. What do you think? Thanks!u can as well ask Phillip @ zankli to provide u with d DHL tracking Id they used to forward ur medicals. Cos my CO asked me to do that then. . . |
ferdimako: I guess you've been screened YES by VEsstass (sic). Did you redo the IELTS or you don't need it to make 60points?well, my 60 points + as it stands will depend on d outcome of an international safety certification that i just did, after which i'll have to get it notarised and assessd by VETASSESS. . .my brother dis is a long wait 4 me (for me to meet my target, i wanna finish everything concernin d processin here in naija b4 i get on a plane to Perth), so i've been advised to consider 190 as well, which still augur well for me (since i plan stayin 4 years, 2years in Freo for TAFE then 2years in Karlgoorlie for masters at Curtin) by then i must have elapsed d 2yrs i am meant to stay in WA when i do take their State sponsorship and 5 points that go with it. . . I undastand that WA and ACT are d best States for sponsorship, their approvals are very quick, and then maybe NSW, though d latter has very slim state SOL, unlike d other two. . .however, i dnt hesitate in whatever i wanna do cos time is tissue, d earlier i get it done, d earlier i start payin low fees and most importantly jobs, cos both my programs have serious work placement/internship opportunities/arrangements, but i have learnt d juicy and mega companies prefer to take in students with complete unrestricted work rights(which student visa cant offer u) except 4 a few like BHP billiton and Rio tinto, etc. .who do not mind i plan writing IELTS again but i sense it will take me more time to do that cos i have to get to Perth, settle down, prepare/register for d test. . .Again, these people have changed frm Immi and citizenship to Immi and Border Protection, hahaha, my brother its nt a good sign. .hahaha, dis new administration is nt smiling o. .hahaha. .so now is d time to hasten up b4 they close the goddamn border na DIBP dey my student visa oo, no more DIAC. .nwanne o dikwa risky and very serious. .pardon my lack of sentence structuring. . As for vetassess, am told it'll take 6 wks and i'm very confident(my application is well loaded) in d Most High that it'll be +ve. Shalom! |
bayuprince: thanks lawland, Qatar airline fly's to Perth, its does not fly to Sydney, but south African airways is very cheap, if you really want to bit down the cost?ethiopian airways is another moderate option |
okesammie: Hello jenny, please help me find out about these 3 courses and tell me the one with the best prospect with regard to mining; 1) advanced diploma of engineering oil and gas 2) Advanced diploma of engineering(mechanical) and 3)Advanced Diploma of Process Plant Technology. I will appreciate if i could get the anser in timehi bro! How's has it been? Where you @ now? And which course did you/are u taking finally? Regards. |

hahaha. .been laughin hysterically @ dis reactions. . . In as much as i vote that americanvisa be pardoned, discharged and acquitted. . .it is pertinent to note once again that to whom much is given, more is expected (cos of d way d Bros has been prying into every other person's details and intricacies) which is not somewhat wrong provided guys are ready to oblige him. However, nobody has been swindled(technically), so Mommy Jenny et al, pls do not kill an ant, sorry cricket with a sledge hammer. . On d other hand, @americanvisa, d day i fanthomed that there could be somethin bogus/spooky abt you, was d day Ferdimako and Jenny suggested that u dnt sound like a doctor. .that day i was like, dis guy must be a traditional herbal medical practitioner. .my few cent cos i dnt relish d prospect of engagin in verbal/oral combat with some smartasses and ITKs on dis thread and nairaland @ large. Shalom! |
Americanvisa: Snowburn, you must be in Australia by now? you didnt update us about your visa againDude, you must have gotten have gotten your visa by now, aint you? Cos i have mine sitting rite here with me. Anyways, i've got bigger fish to fry, like not coming back to naija any time soon aka PR ![]() i hope to fly out first week of Jan. . .shalom |
lawland: Regarding evidence of home ties, it was a lil bit easier for me cos I am studying engineering in oil and gas, you know Nigeria has better opportunities than Australia when it comes to oil and gas. .Nigeria DO NOT have better opportunities than Australia when it comes to oil and gas/energy/ not to talk of resources generally (both metalliferous & non- metalliferous), however, naija may have more crude/gas reserves than they do. . . but hey, they are not the only country naija has more potentials than, yet performing better than naija. Truth is, investors are not only interested in potentials, there are a lot of other indices to consider, that is why there are a lot of on going and upcoming oil/gas activities today in Angola than in Nigeria. Just to name a few. . . check out the up coming/on going projects Gorgon by Chevron in Carnavon, the first FLNG in the world by Shell, the Browse project, etc. the resources(both mining and petroleum) industry over there is booming rite now and is projected to continue for a long while. i perceive you are heading to Central Institute . . . Shalom |
@ manmeta how've you been? my IELTS results are as follows; R 6.5, L 7, W 7, S 6.5, Overall 7 would i still be able to claim 7 points in the EOI since they clearly stated 7 In EACH BAND or should i retake the exam? please what's your candid opinion/advice? i dont wanna overclaim/run any silly risks, however if this result would do i'd be glad. . . every/any input/suggestion on this from the house is also welcome and appreciated. Thanks guys. ![]() |
@ manmeta i have applied for assessment with VETASSESS, waiting for their response |
hey JennyK! you are welcome back Ma! how would we have known you traveled for august ![]() |
mimi1147: mine was cert iv(1yr) > diploma (1yr) and thats how i was offeredstill waiting to hear from them, meanwhile i focus on my PR arrangements. . .have you applied for your visa? |
holahola78: Good one here. You said my mind. I read food tech. graduated 2008 but working independently. I'm planning to use a family friend's clinic to provide all documentation and references(work experience). I'm applying for tafe nursing. Please what documents do I need for work experience.( I'm financially capable.)letter of employment/ letter of contract Employer/employment references payslips/tax clearance , you can throw in bank statements. . . take your pick, but try get at least three of these payslip must be for three different months (spaced out prefarably) well, the above is mostly for PR, for the student visa, you dont have to prove much about your employment i think |
manmeta: Hi. Be aware that this is a SKILLED MIGRATION. You're expected to have both demonstrable qualifications and work experience.Thanx for your response. my student visa is on the way, but i wanna process this PR as well cos its gonna give me a soft landing somewhat or should i say enhance my hitting the ground running (i just downloaded a vacation job booklet and most of the opportunities are for PR/Citizens). . .I can can make 65 points if i score 7 in IELTS or 75 points if i score 8 In IELTS. . . i am gathering all my documents for the skills assessment, did you send them your trancript yourself or did you have your institution send it to them directly cos i saw smthing like that on the VETASSESS webpage for nigerians i understand yours is EngAus but kindly comment. .thanx bro, Best regards to family |
when you wanna apply for a course especially TAFE, try and look for the pathway, for example, my course is an advanced diploma, but here is the pathway Cert III (6months) > Cert IV (6months) > Diploma (6months) > Adv Dipl (6months) but then it all depends on the course and the institute offering it. most times you guys just go and click diploma option without checking out if you can continue to Adv Dip |
Yeah, she will. . . .do good anyway - Mother Theresa |
@ manmeta. . . please i'd like to confirm something from you i have BSc in Physics/Astro., but i've been working as a HSE Supervisor for 5years now. .,i wanna know if VETASSESs or Engineers Ausralia should assess my skills cos VETASSESS is for Occupational Health and Safety which is my trade while Engineers Australia say they also assess Engineering related fields like Physics and Chemistry. I'm going with Occupational Health and Safety though cos thats where i have experience and International Certification too like NEBOSH, besides Physics is not on the SOL as @ now. . , so please tell what and how to do. . .many thanks bro! |
Life a na-aga aga . . . |
