It is unlikely the Portuguese can save his job at Chelsea just three weeks after the Chelsea board publicly showed him support. There are a hosts of Managers who can replace Mourinho at Stamford bridge. With a poor run of results, the Chelsea board might intend to fire the ‘The Special One’. The Premier league has already witnessed a change in managerial position thrice this season. First, it was Dick Advocaat who left his position vacant at Sunderland and Ex-Hammers boss Sam Allardyce took his place. Liverpool also sacked Brendan Rodgers for Jurgen Klopp to come in. Most recently in the trend of managerial changes is the dismissal of Tim Sherwood as Aston Villa manager. Who knows whom the baton might fall on next? Probably, Jose Mourinho who is having the worst nightmare of his career. The hope at Chelsea remains that Mourinho will find a solution to his team’s problems but a fifth Premier League defeat of the season, against West Ham United, increased the threat that Abramovich will eventually feel he is left with no option but to make a change. If Mourinho leaves, the next man for the job has the top four to battle for, a champions league dream is still very much alive provided the blues win their crucial games when needed most, probably he would still have the Capital One Cup to fight for if Chelsea do not lose to West Ham tomorrow. The FA cup also begins in January. Chelsea’s season can still be a glamorous one. Here are five managers that can succeed Jose Mourinho at Chelsea 1. PEP GUARDIOLA With increased speculation linking him to Manchester City, the Ex-Barcelona man might also consider Chelsea, his contract with the Bavarian giants ends at the end of the current campaign, Roman Abrahamovic would not think twice about hiring Pep if available next summer and will have to beat City who are desperate for Guardiola. Some Chelsea fans assume Former team doctor Eva Carneiro's spell is working on Jose Mourinho's team. I think 'the Special One' has placed a cursed on himself which has caused Chelsea's misfortune this season. Willian put Chelsea in the lead against Southampton with a stunning free-kick, but Steven Davis netted for Saints to level proceedings before half-time. The magnificent Sadio Mane, who tormented Chelsea's defenders all evening, put Saints in the lead after the break before Graziano Pelle grabbed Southampton's third to inflict more misery on Mourinho's men. HERE ARE FOUR REASONS I THINK WERE THE CAUSE OF CHELSEA'S DOWNFALL. 1. MOURINHO KEEPS USING IVANOVIC! BUT WHY ?Ivanovic was arguably Chelsea's best player last season but The Special One has failed to accept the Serb is off form this season. The word 'Mark' doesn't seem to be in Ivanovic's head any longer. I wonder why Jose Mourinho can't bench this old man called Ivanovic and play Azilicuepta on his preferred right back position bringing in new signing Baba Rahman who doesn't deserve to be on the bench to play on the left flank. Home advantage was not the reason Asene Wenger's side beat Manchester United, The Gunners have lost two home games this season; latest being a 3-2 champions league loss to Olympiakos. Louis Van Gaal and the players did not just get things right against Arsenal. Asene Wenger fielded the side that lost 2-0 to Chelsea except Per Mertesacker who came in for the injured Laurent Koscielny. A superb Alexis Sanchez double and a Mesut Ozil strike put the Gunners three goals to the good after only 20 minutes. Manchester United struggled to compete against blistering attacking display from the Gunners. Petr Cech was forced to make a number of decent saves to ensure a clean-sheet for Arsene Wenger's side. FOUR CRUCIAL MISTAKES MANCHESTER UNITED MADE AT THE EMIRATES 1. WRONG COMBINATION IN DEFENCE It came as a big surprise to everyone that Ashley Young played as a left-back; although, having lost Luke Shaw against PSV in the champions league, Daley Blind who is a natural left footer would have fitted into the left back position. United players struggled against a more organised Arsenal attack lead by the trio of Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott.
