soccerblitz-Smhoua played hosts to two time CAF champions league champions Enyimba at the Alexandria stadium in their CAF champions league second leg encounter. Enyimba were forced to make a substitution earlier in the 15th minute when Ezekiel Bassey got injured and was replaced by Andrew Abalogu. The first half was a tough one for Enyimba as the home side were on the offensive side but all thanks to brilliant saves from goal keeper Femi Thomas. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been named Premier League Manager of the Month for March and Olivier Giroud has made it a double for the Gunners by winning the Player of the Month award. Arsenal were knocked out of the Champions League by Monaco in March but won all four for their Premier League matches against Everton, QPR, West Ham and Newcastle. The Nigeria Professional Football League and the Nigeria National League will resume on April 18 and 19 after the general elections in Nigeria. The league was put on hold due to the General elections in the country taking place between March 28 and April 11. Match Day 4 fixtures of the Glo Premier League scheduled for this weekend has been postponed to the Sunday, April 19. An earlier statement from the office of the Chief Operating Officer of the League Management Company (LMC), Salihu Abubakar, said the games have been rescheduled sequel to the directive of the Nigeria Football Federation fixing all States’ FA Cup finals for this weekend of April 4 and 5. Super Eagles goalkeeper and captain, Vlincent Enyeama will not travel with the rest of the Nigeria squad to South Africa for Sunday’s international friendly against the Bafana Bafana after he was ruled out through injury.
