During your time how many of you were admitted?I knw , doing my time I.e last year, its was 250k dat we paid and then admission was only 4 those wuh could pay the fee, so we weren't much at all, but now the case is different even from d putme performance, but the no dat will be admitted per dept. is a minimum of 50 at least, but am not saying dats it ooo,just be #optimistic if u scored 50+ cos 50 is the minimum cutoff... 1 Like |

deewon56: wat of electronic and computer engr?dats my department ooo.. very competitove , has the most no of students and perhaps the best engineering I.e producing 2 first class students ( overall best graduating student) in 3 years... sure they wud admit quite a no. at least the 1st 50 pple on d putme list shuld be sure of admission |

Mikiboi: Pls am Planing on going for Electronic and Computer Engineering In Lasu ... I was told d faculty is located in Epe.. And I was also told that there is no hostel inside Epe campus... So I want to knw if there is any available hostel Off K Or were will student stay n sleep becos dey can't be coming from deir home to skul everyday.. Nastydroid: do you know the government is playing games? make dem finish election firstpolitics u may say, but if u luk at it, lasusu #optimist 4ot lyk a lion, in the reduction of d fee 2 #46k 4 staylites nd #65k 4 new intakes, but d gov. reduced it by 38%-60% making it between #78-158k across all faculties, but d students/union had several meetins and d congress, frm wat d students decided was that they cudnt pay d new fee, xo d union went back 2 d government 4 d same proposal dey ask 4 b4 #46k... and 2 d suprise of Lasuites, d fee was reversed. Also, d ASUU-LASU went on strike 4 abt 1mnt+ on dis same issue, sayin d new fee was 2 high and lasu was still one of d most expensive public institution and dat d fee shud b brought 2 as low or below #50k... Not forgeting d Media @ TVC and Channels TV, org such as d ERC (education rights comittee) e.t.c Until d fee was brought back 2 #25k What am i heading at, though elections ar comin soon and APC being a political agent wud b lukin 4 strategy, (i) if we @ Lasuites didnt fight, do u tink d fee wud even have been reduced at all? (ii) even if d fee wud b increased in future it wudnt affect d staylites/the new(2014/15) intakes gan. Wich i dont see happening... Even Fashola said it dat d fee is reversed to bring an end to the incesent/uncallfor, protest and so on in the instition... 1 Like |

D fee 4 new students there is 35k i.e 10k 4 acceptance fee and others, dats all, and by d way, lasu doesnt add hostel fee 2 d sch fee nw, u get ur hostel and pay, same 4 d epe campus. Well, lets wait 4 d breakdown of the 2014/15 fee schdule 4 new students... |
