RIP Muna, you were a great actor with a unique personality |
PapiWata Thanks brother man.. I've desired to do this for a long time. I sincerely need a serious adjustment to my sedentary work life that leaves no time for leisure and exercise. These pains are my reward for these long years of desk work life with no muscle flexibility. I'm thankful for your advice. |
@xcelsia & kimmo... thank you soooo much. I'm so grateful for your advice and even though it may seem difficult to achieve becos of my sedentary(?) lifestyle, I want to give it all I can to have a relief, then total cure. God bless you all for your great efforts. Just an update: Someone had suggested I do a particular exercise yesterday when d pain was so severe and there was this burning sensation at my lower back. The suggestion was to roll my waist and hips clockwise for 20 times, then roll it again counter-clockwise 20 times or more as the pain may permit. I took off time from my desk, went to a quiet place in my office and did exactly that, and even included jogging and stretching. To my amazement, the pains eased and the burning feeling stopped. Throughout the day, I was as happy as a butterfly. Elated by the result, I got home in the evening and repeated it but wait for this - i could not sleep well as the pains became aggravated. I'm so sore now and scared to do any such exercises. From yesterday, I have started on xcelsia's advice on fruits, and lots of water. I hope to provide you guys updates on my progress. Thanks to you all for being there for me. |
@xcelsia, kindly explain how cardio & lower bilateral strength training exercises are done. Sorry I'm a novice. I really want to take this seriously. Many thanks |
So so happy with the responses I'm receiving on here. I'm also encouraged that there are people who once had my situation and are free today. I've often been told about exercises and @xcelsia, you know exactly how it is, especially with getting up early and doing exercises that may result in more pains.. i appreciate u and all others. I'm going to combine many or all of the suggestions I've been given here and would definitely give u guys updates. So proud of you all. Keep it coming...there may be additional solutions to this problem yet unravelled. Love u all. |
honey001:because their father does not believe in the quality of education his own university offers. he believes the university his daughter attends abroad is better than his. |
Thanks for all your help |
I've been in an employment for nearly 20 years. In all these years, it has been frustrations all through. I've been here, thinking that tomorrow will be better, but I was wrong. I've spent most part of my working years here and I'm getting old. I feel like calling it off at last. I cannot wait to retire here, I dont want to die here. Promotions dont come, workload is excessive, u are not recognized if u have no godfather here, u get home late everytime, waking up again before 5.am. Now falling ill every now and again, blood pressure rising and falling. I'm frustrated. I have a little savings of about N2m. What business can I invest this into? Pls dont suggest online business to me, I wont buy it. I need sincere and mature responses pls. Dont make any jest of me either, i seek real advice, pls. It is better to ignore this post if all you have to say is to make fun of a serious issue. God bless you. |
I thought this topic was meant for single mums and single dads to meet and connect. Pls lets not derail that objective. There are many of us who would love the opportunity to meet single mums and vice versa but somehow, that opportunity is soooo scarce. i hope this thread will fill in that gap. |
So ACN dat has always accused the PDP of being a "rigging master" has also mastered the act? I will not be surprised, if indeed, the PDP actually clinched some LGs, becos the ACN govt at the Local govt levels in Lagos State, or at least in my local govt, Ikorodu, has been nothing else but DEAD. I'm surprised also that ACN "won" Ikorodu. Whilst we all know that the PDP is not better, we (Ikorodu) actually wanted a change. ACN (state & local govts) in Ikorodu is DEAD. |
Chuck D:My brother, when will dat day come? We say revolution! revolution!! who will bell the cat? Ethnicity & religion will sabotage any such efforts. |
What's the size of this shop? Are u free to sell a govt allocated shop? I thought its rented from the govt. Did u buy it outrightly? Pls educate me. thanks |
Your question was kind of twisted. Me thought u asked what present you would give to a man to attract him. You should have asked: "What perfect present to get for my husband" since u are married. My thoughts though. just trying to contribute, means no harm, Be good always. |
