The Federal Government has approved a new pump price for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) otherwise known as petrol. This new price of N86.50k was announced night of Tuesday, 29th December 2015.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has accused the Federal Government of making a show out of deceit by its so-called fuel price reduction, saying a 10.3 per cent slash in the price of petrol (from 97 to 87 Naira) is a mere tokenism at a time the price of crude oil has crashed by about 60 per cent...
In a statement issued in Lagos on Monday by its National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, the party said the pump price of a litre of fuel should not be more than 70 Naira, meaning that at 87 Naira per litre, the government is forcing Nigerians to subsidize the massive corruption in the oil sector by 17 Naira for every litre of fuel.
”When crude oil was selling at 100 dollars per barrel, the landing cost of PMS without subsidy was 125 Naira per litre. Now that the oil price has crash to about 44 dollars per barrel, landing cost without subsidy is about 65 Naira per litre. The same goes for diesel which should not sell for more than 90 Naira per litre,” it said.
APC said while governments of countries which are not as economically endowed as Nigeria have reduced the pump price of fuel as far back as early January 2015, Nigeria that is the world’s sixth largest producer of oil is just announcing a price slash that is far below those countries

Why the contribution to fighting Boko haram now? Why are the northern governor's in the affected areas silent all over the years? Before this time what has the governor's in this region been doing with the security vote on monthly/yearly bases? Nigerian should be wise enough to read the hand writings on d wall that it was agenda from the north to get into power @ federal with the northern governor in colaboration and stop this propaganda of congratulation when the governor is doing what is expected of him as the chief security of his state. We all should remember that no one invited him to govern the state, instead he campaigned and was voted in to do part of what he has done that people are congratulating him. He shld do more and surpass people expectation with the state resources not money from his pocket.

Honestly GMB is going contrary to what Nigerian need for now, block loop holes to stop corruption, fix Nigerian problems like you told us during your campaign such as stabilise crude oil price in the international market, make N1=$1, provide food for our kids in sch as promised since schools are in session, build more refinery, fix Nigerian road, bring lite/speed rail instead of locomotive that GEJ provided for us, bring Nigerian shipping line, Nigerian Airways, retrive Nepa, Nitel and so on. We don't have the to wait eternity for Nigerian courts to pass ruling in favour of the govt when there is fruad in the constitution that will even make someone that stole 100billion to pay fine of 150k as we say in the case of pension fund. GMB shld do what he can to make nigeria a better place for all if he had the interest of Nigerian @ heart intead of witch hunting or if he actually want to recover the stolen wealth of this great nation, he GMB should start from the time of Lord lugard not just GEJ alone. We all note that shagari, Albudusalami, IBB, OBJ and so on are still walking freely without anyone hurting them.

1 Giving us Fuel @ 50 naira per ltr
Diesel @ 70, naira
Kerosene @ 40 per ltr as politicians like Adams of edo state and fashola and Amaechi has calculation the landing cost to be this amount.

PHCN tariff should be slashed to 50 percent for real. Secondly billing shld be classified into three groups high/middle/low income earners based on areas, bcs lekki, magodo and Ayobo/ikorodu should not be paying same amount.[/color][color=#006600]
