Business / Does Anyone Have An Experience With Using Quickinvoice.org? by soi(m): 12:30am On Feb 03, 2017 |
A friend of mine told me about this free invoice generator, that enables you to create invoices online. I am interested in trying it out but before wasting my time on it, I decided to check for reviews. Unfortunately, I have not found one review yet. So if you have an experience with it. I am more interested in people who have used it for some time. I don't know if there is any hidden cost in it or things of that nature. So if you have any info about it, do let me know. Thanks |

Romance / Finding True Love Is An Art-not Trial And Error by soi(m): 3:13am On Aug 01, 2011 |
I had a friend who once asked why he wasn't successful in finding his 'rib'. He did find a lot of girls, but that rib connection wasn't there. I know there are some women too, whose 'extra rib' is in search of it's origin. Instead the journey has been on the highway of bumping into mr wrongs. My advice is very simple. Find out what your passion is in life and pursue it. It could be a hubby or your daily routine. That is where you will find soul connection and respect. Else, it will just be sampling all the way. The unfortunate thing is; when you are fed u in a relationship we mostly do silly things that will make our partners become repulsive towards us. It is either we cheat or do something stupid. That can be avoided if you search yourself to know who you are, that will help you find someone that will match you. I have a little attachment here where you can read more on this philosophy. If you don't like it, just ignore it.

Education / Directory Of World Universities And Their Websites Now In Nigeria by soi(m): 2:59am On Aug 01, 2011 |
i did post a topic recently on a book I bought online that had list of universities in the world and their websites. One of the things I discovered after posting the link was that Paypal is not available in Nigeria. Hence I decided to take the initiative over the weeks to negotiate ways by which any interested student can have access to the Ebook. So far I was able to negotiate for a portion of it. So you can have the book with universities in the world and their websites indexed country-wise from A to H. If you have an interest in studying in any of the following countries, then you can lay your hands on it. Albania, Afghanistan, Algeria, American Samoa, Andorra, Angola, Antarctica, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Armenia, Aruba, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belarus, Belgium, Belize, Benin, Bermuda, Bhutan, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Burma, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroun, Canada, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Chile, China, Colombia, Comoros, Congo Democratic Republic, Congo Republic, Costa Rica, Cote de Ivoire, Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Czech Republic ,Denmark, Djibouti, Dominica, Dominica Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Estonia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Finland, France, Gabon, Gambia, Georgia, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guatemala, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, and Hungary. Like I mentioned in the last post, aside weblinks to universities, list of universities without websites are mentioned as well. The author advises you to contact the embassy of the country in which your university of interest is located to get a credible address of the university. A sample list of universities in Albania is attached. This word document is a Promo. The PDF equivalent was more than 400kb, hence I had to convert it to MSWord. However, the Ebook is delivered as PDF. The comprehensive list goes for 500 naira. The smaller volumes go for 100 or 200 naira depending. To get a copy please contact Paul Osho at osho_pl@yahoo.com If you live in Lagos you can contact him or send him an email. He will direct you on how to have access to the e book. Please, do not reproduce the books. It is copyrighted. I wish you all the best in travelling abroad to study

Dating And Meet-up Zone / What Level Of Love Are You Willing To Give To Mr/miss Right by soi(m): 4:22pm On Jun 16, 2011 |
Every single person is in search for a Mr right and Miss right. The unfortunate part of the whole delinma is; you can't identify Mr/Miss right by observation. However, Thank God for attraction because attraction plays that role of bringing 2 people together. Unfortunately attraction doesn't sustain because it fades. Suddenly we find ourselves asking 'Did I make a mistake, was this the mr/miss right?' Can you imagine what you would do if you had information that would change the whole ball game for you. Information that will help you find Mr/Miss right or information that will help you and your partner cross the river of "Did I make a mistake?" to the promised land of "You were gold hidden in the sand". You would pay millions of dollars of it. I came across a book, it's an e-book actually, which deals with this issues and added another food for thought. What is the level of Love that you are willing to give to Mr right and Miss right whom you are either hooked up with in marriage, and he or she has turned to Devil he and lucifer she? This sounds very crazy. But the answer is not what you think. lol, How do I know what you are thinking anyway. But the answer will not only shock you but open your eyes to the instrument you have in you to make things better. The book is neither religious nor nonreligious. You can easily download it here: http://store.payloadz.com/details/948539-ebooks-romance-when-love-is-not-well-defined.html If you don't have the required means of payment needed by the store, you click the contact the seller link and send him an email. You will get an alternative means of payment and the e-book will be mailed to you. Supplies are limited. Rush while stock last. Your wife will love you the more if you buy this book And if you are a poet here is a love bonus for you; http://store.payloadz.com/details/948473-ebooks-poetry-reflections-of-my-heart.html |

Politics / Re: Nigeria Is Indeed The Giant Of Africa by soi(m): 8:40pm On Jun 15, 2009 |
Gentlemen, I have taken my time to go through the thread. Apart from Rev Mallam and a few others, some of us don't get my point. We Nigerians ought to understand that we may not be reaping the benefits of our being giants. However that does not mean that we are not giants. The fact that you don't have water to flush your toilet does not mean you are the only person going through that plight. I repeat, most of the African countries are white washed tombs. We can't compare ourselves to them in any way and in any form. I have traveled to almost 40 of the fifty African countries. Presently, I live in Ghana. I know for a fact that the Ghana you so dream of is nothing compared to our beloved naija. I wonder which part of Village Togo has water. They don't even have tarred roads. Talk of congo, gabon etc. Nigeria has greater advantages , amenities and opportunities. Even our currency is a very strong one in value. I want someone who has traveled around Africa to respond. If you haven't touched an African Nation, then don't bother because you don't know what you are talking about. |
Politics / Nigeria Is Indeed The Giant Of Africa by soi(m): 10:11pm On Jun 14, 2009 |
I read a thread earlier, that had the question "Is Nigeria really the Giant of Africa." I was not amused when I saw most of what was written in that thread. If you want to know the truth, don't travel to UK, USA or any country of the west. Travel to Togo, Benin, Cameroon, Congo, Ghana, Botswana etc. Many countries in Africa are nothing but whitewashed tombs. Don't just visit those lush areas, go into the hinterlands. Go to our so called competitor called Ghana. Inside Accra, the capital city are Slumps, Villages where there is neither water nor light. Visit Lome, That one is a glorified village, Go to Congo. Stop visiting nice areas in some of these African countries and visit some other Areas. I hated Nigeria with a passion until I went to some countries and found no ATM machine. In some that have ATM, they are not interconnected. Nigeria that you are insulting gives them loans and grants and some other form of aid. They depend on us for subsidized energy. We are the second largest economy in Africa after south Africa. We hold political power and will. Many African nations like the Kenyans etc are jealous of us. We are more advanced than some lonely town like Gabon and some nations that are virtually Ghost towns. We have more human resources , we have more natural resources aside oil, Most of these nations are sustained by Nigerians. An example is Ghana. The amount of tax paid by Nigerian businesses to the Ghanaian govt amounted to about a billion dollars. In African peace keeping missions, we contribute more in personnel logistics and finances. That is why Ojo Madueke was being pushed by the British to commit to the Zimbabwe course which he rightly declined. Every 1 in 4 African is a Nigerian. We are Giants in all regards. The only problem we have is the epileptic power supply and the proper management of our resources. Many of us are poor. South Africa , The largest economy in Africa has the same problem. Nigeria may have failed us but let us not belittle who we are. How many countries have the capacity to send electricity to neighboring nations. How many oil producing African countries, Angola (the largest oil producer in Africa inclusive), are able to catch the world's attention anytime our oil exploration is tampered with. Are we the only nation producing oil? are Sudan, Equatorial guinea, gabon , Libya etc not producing oil. Lets stop it. Even this 419 issue, we have more internet fraud in many African countries. Our lack of any form of identity outside sometimes makes a foreigner claim to be a Nigerian. Beware because chances are that the fraudulent mail you received is from either Cote de Ivoire, Ghana or even Sierra Loene. I am not paranoid, no. I am trying to set the records straight. If you have never traveled out, do so and you will discover that that naira you treat like rubbish is gold in some other country. we have problems, That is correct, serious problems. Let's think of how to solve them than slash our necks with a knife only to wake up one day to discover; we were living in illusions due to our ignorance. 1 Like |
Jokes Etc / How To Lay Off Workers With A Fire Drill by soi(m): 1:40am On Apr 27, 2009 |
A fire alarm rang at 4 pm in a large office campus when almost all employees were present (approx 5,000 people). As per past fire-drill practices, the entire office was quickly evacuated within 3 minutes, and all employees gathered outside the complex in designated areas waiting for further announcement. Before long, the fire drill officer in-charge made the following broadcast over their loud-speakers system: " My dear colleagues: With sincere regret, I have been asked to announce that for many of you, this will be your last evacuation drill with us. Due to the on-going recession and bad business climate, the company is laying off almost 50% of its staff. So when this announcement finishes, I ask all of you to move back into the building. And if your swipe-card does not work, then it means that you have been laid off, in which case you will not be allowed inside, and all your personal belongings will be couriered to you by tomorrow. The company is using this innovative, never-before approach as we do not want to choke our email system with lay-off notices and farewell messages going by the thousands, and we also wish to avoid any fighting inside the office and the consequent security issues for all staff. We hope you have had a rewarding career with us. Now please move back in, and good luck ! " get more from http://africancomedy.ning.com |
Romance / Re: Nigerians: Would You Marry Another West African? by soi(m): 3:19pm On Apr 14, 2009 |
Not all West African women. A Ghanaian, Togolese etc. as for Nigerian and Ivorien girls. You need to break bank for them. Though the girl may not be the problem, but the cost of the wedding will be a problem. What you will spend in a Nigerian wedding, you will spend one quarter of that in other west African countries. I have been to some of their weddings. Aside the wedding costs. Most of these west African girls are contented (Majority ,I mean). Most of them have not seen money. They are not expensive to maintain. They cut their coat according to their size and love promoting their culture. Their food are disgusting at first sight, but when you summon the courage to taste it, you will forget your mother's egusi soup. However, Nigerian girls are the best. They have class, you can't trample on them, they tell you their mind. Many of our girls are good. But with this world economic crises, I wouldn't mind a lovely senegalese lady. |
Politics / Nigerians Loathed In Poor West Africa (oh Nieria The Falling Giant) by soi(m): 3:05pm On Apr 14, 2009 |
Nigeria as we all know is one of the power houses of Africa. 35% of Africa's Political base is resident in Nigeria. Nigeria is the second largest economy in Africa after South Africa. the most successful Africans are Nigerians. Most Africans think we fell from Heaven like Oduduwa of the Yoruba land because most of the things we touch turns gold (either by hook or crook or in a good way). In spite of these, Nigerians are hated. The African foreigners that smile at us when we visit their lands, do so because of the money we have. Our currency seem to be stronger than most African currency in value except for south Africa, Egypt and Kenya. For the rest, re denomination of their currencies have made it seem as if theirs is stronger. But the truth is- the value is the same as the old and meaningless. Its just new wine in an old wine skin and they suffer from hyper inflations. If it were not for our economic dominance, many of them would have driven us out. South Africa has been doing that systematically. Egypt and Kenya are now putting stricter measures to stop us from going there. They don't really need us. Our crimes: (1) I don't hate Ibos. Most of my friends are Ibos. In Tanzania, Ibos, I'm sorry to say, go there to kill Albinos for money rituals. In Liberia, They exhume the graves of the dead for the same purpose. (2) These is general. Many Nigerian in Ghana are into Arm robbery, defrauding ATM machines. One was caught with 250 ATM cards. He goes there at night to withdraw peoples money. (3) Drug trafficking, 419, and a whole lot of other things I can't mention. In most of the West African countries I have been to, you won't understand how the hate you as a Nigerian until you live with them. Xenophobia is in place and people don't trust us. We have many foreign West African nationals living in Nigeria. When they commit crimes, our law enforcement agents don't make a fuss about it. But let a Nigerian commit a crime in a west African country. Houses of Nigerians are burnt and a lot of other things happen. We might be strong economically, but lets face fact. Angola ,Uganda, Ghana and some other African countries are soon going to be rich based on their oil find. Once Most of these countries become equals, they will be forced to take measures against Nigerian living in their land. Ghana is an example. In the sixties, the former Prime Minister, Prof Busia, drove away all Nigerians. We have approximately 8 million Nigerians residing with our West African Neighbors. If in their poverty, we are hated, what will happen when they have money. I strongly believe that the ruling PDP should stop playing politics. They should stop stealing the money meant for the creation of jobs. We should have a national agenda that will draw a framework for national development. I also believe that the EFCC should be empowered to cross boarders to arrest a Nigerian involved in financial crimes. Our quest for quick and super wealth is too much. Our girls and wives too should stop being over demanding. Many women in other west African states don't see what we see. Their husbands earn equivalent of ten and twenty thousand naira and they are carrying on. If nothing is done. we will soon become the ancient Rome of Africa |

Jokes Etc / Three Virgin Daughters by soi(m): 1:58am On Apr 08, 2009 |
A Mother had three virgin daughters. They were all getting married, and mom was a bit worried about how their sex life would get started. She made them all promise to send a postcard from the honeymoon with a few words on how marital sex was going. The first daughter sent a card from her honeymoon in Hawaii two days after the wedding. The card said nothing but "Nescafe". At first mom was puzzled, but she went to the kitchen and got out the Nescafe jar. It said: "Good til the last drop." Mom blushed, but was pleased for her daughter. The second girl sent her card from Vermont a week after the wedding. The card said only: "Benson & Hedges". Mom went to the drawer where her husband kept his cigarettes, and she read from the Benson & Hedges pack: "Extra Long. King Size". Again mom was slightly embarrassed, but she was happy for her daughter. The third girl left for her honeymoon in the Caribbean. Mom waited for a week, nothing. Another week went by and still nothing. Mom started to get really worried. Then after a month, the card finally arrived. Written on it with shaky hand writing were the words "British Airways". Mom took out her latest Harpers Bazaar magazine, flipped through the pages fearing the worst, and finally found the ad for BA. The ad said: "Three times a day, seven days a week, both ways." Mom fainted , week, both ways." Mom fainted , http://africancomedy.ning.com An escaped convict broke into a house and tied up a young couple who had been sleeping in the bedroom. As soon as he had a chance, the husband turned to his voluptuous young wife, bound-up on the bed in a skimpy nightgown, and whispered, "Honey, this guy hasn''t seen a woman in years. Just cooperate with anything he wants. If he wants to have sex with you, just go along with it and pretend you like it. Our lives depend on it!" "Dear," the wife hissed, spitting out her gag, "I''m so relieved you feel that way, because he just told me he thinks you have a nice, tight butt!" http://africancomedy.ning.com |
TV/Movies / Are Nigerian Movies Really That Good by soi(m): 2:53pm On Apr 05, 2009 |
I am really moved by the way Nigerian Movies are patronized along the west African coast. The surprising part of it is the fact that Francophone nations patronize them as well. Nigerian movie stars are treated as Hollywood stars. Many West African movie makers take Nigerian movies as their standard. Many Imitate Nigerian movies and even go as far as looking for folks like Jim Iyke, Genevieve etc to boost their production. This makes me wonder. Are Nigerians movies really that good. Well don't blame me. I am a Nigerian, I lived in Nigeria for most of my adult years. I act as well so I can criticize. maybe I am blind. Most moves are incoherent, most actors/actresses can't enter into character. Some cram and release. Talk of the picture, sound track. For the editing, most times you see continuity flaws etc. Are we there yet? Do we actually deserve this hype? Let me know your thoughts and your experience as well |

Jokes Etc / Penniless Babe by soi(m): 2:01pm On Apr 05, 2009 |
Penniless babe I requested identification from a department-store customer who had just written a personal check for her purchase. After fumbling through her purse, she presented me with what she said was the only thing that bore both her name and address. It was a notice of insufficient funds from her bank. culled from rd http://africancomedy.ning.com Ego (ibo for money) My husband, an attorney, is frequently consulted by clients who, after learning what the cost of legal services will be, decide to do without his aid. Recently the elderly minister of a small, struggling church came in with a legal problem. After patiently listening to an explanation of my husband's fees, he left the office with a prudent: "Thank you, sir, but I believe I'll just pray this one through." culled from rd http://africancomedy.ning.com |

My friend opened a ministry, using a snippet from the Bible as the name. But he soon regretted his decision to order office supplies over the phone.
