Secondly, I get a yellow card some years ago at seme border when I was traveling to republic of Benin, the color was yellow,is it the same as the type south africa is requesting?

Thirdly,for documents,do they collect only photocopy during submission and biometric?

[Also your medium of invitation and type of visa is important,i had to get a good invitation when I applied,it is now easier via business conferences and all,I had to get one at a good cost,it paid off and I got 1 year business visa,don't be weary! Cheers up and apply again]

I applied for short term and indicated in my cover letter that I intended to visit the Republic often within the next five years. I highlighted that it'll be administratively burdensome on me and the High Commission if I continued to apply for visas within the period. Additional documents submitted were police clearance certificate and medical support.

Kindly note that I've received nearly 10 short-term visas from SA and have visited about 15 or so times.

State in your next application that you want a long-term tourist visa to enable you to move faster due to your frequency in South Africa.
Attach all previous visas. It will be granted. That was what I did. I attached all my previous visas to substantiate my claims, and my application was granted.

I applied on 28th of November,my multiple entry visa was ready 3rd December,I got my passport from the courier just now,it only took 5 working days.

Applied via DHA got rejected 25/11 (reason for rejection- contact person could not be reached). Reapplied on the 26th got approved today. Multiple entry.

Then I applied at Vfs office on 25th Nov and got a mail that my processed application has been dispatched on 29th Nov. I got my passport from GIG on Monday, 2nd Dec.

My flight is 7th Dec. and the conference starts on 8th Dec, so I’m so glad it was processed this fast.

Invitation letter from host organization
Employer’s Bank statement (stamped and signed with date physically)
Personal Bank statements (3 months, stamped and signed with date physically)
Yellow fever card.
Flight itinerary and direct hotel reservation

Printed copies of 2 previous visas (to other African countries)
Printed stamped pages on my passport of these 2 visas

I provided all the requirements listed on their official website to ensure a complete application.

Additionally, I am delighted to inform you that I accomplished this feat without relying on any agents or intermediaries other than this thread.

I submitted my Visa Application in VFS Abuja office on 2nd May 2024. After a week, I got a call from Home Affairs that I should reach out to my school (UKZN) and my Medical Aid to respond to the mail that was sent to them for the confirmation of the authenticity of my admission and my Health Cover, I communicated the school and CompCare medical aid. Home Affairs later called me on 20th May to acknowledge that they have received the confirmation.

I was notified on 24th to submit my passport which I did on 25th around 9:30am. I got mailed that it's ready for collection around 2:45pm same day but because it was Friday, the courier service delivered it to me today been 27th May.
